Black Knight Sword
Black Knight Sword Screens and Teaser Are Weird

Coming from Suda 51's Grasshopper Manufacture, Black Knight Sword looks like something of an oddity, featuring bizarrd potato-head monsters, copious blood and an oppressive backdrop that takes place upon an opulent-looking stage with red velvet curtains.

Typically off-the-wall fare, Black Knight Sword was announced at Gamescom last week, and these first screens show what the 2D hack and slasher/platformer is all about, while the teaser trailer is less helpful, showing very little beyond silhouettes with a booming narration.

The tale of the Black Knight Sword will be coming to the Xbox Live Arcade when the show begins this winter 2011. Check out the trailer (once with sound, once without for some reason) and the first five screens in the gallery.

It's gonna be 1200 MSP most likely. Games are getting more and more expensive. Pretty soon the standard will be 1200, then you'll see a few more 1600 games pop up. The cycle continues.

I agree they are overpriced with very little replay value.

@#1 Same here. If I like the trial and I like what I'm missing so far then I will defo get it for 800ms. If not there will always be DoTW down the road and I'm patient camper;-)

@5 XBLA games cost a bit more than they used to, but they are generally better games; some even on par with retail games. While I would love the games to be cheaper, you are taking the piss asking for them to be 200 - that's £1.70..!! I guess you'll never play this game, so it's your loss

Terrible trailer. Also agree Arcade games are overpriced. 400 should be the standard for a 4 hour game (usually less) that i'll only play once.

Good thing they were pushing for "WTF" with that video, cause that's what you end up thinking. Next time just show us what they game is going to look and play like, and lose the asinine melodrama.
