Bodycount has its single-player mode with level completion grades and leaderboards, but what you may not know is that it'll also have a pretty hefty online mode too, with a co-op Siege mode in which you and a friends tackle waves of increasingly tough enemies.
Then there's the competitive online multiplayer aspect, which includes Network versus Target Deathmatch and Team Deathmatch, wherein you can shred up the scenery, blast an enemy through a wall with a shotgun and just wreak general havoc with explosions aplenty.
You can then pick up intel, leading to perks being activated, which are your "get out of jail free cards". Things like explosive bullets, airstrikes and radar. Check out the new dev diary to see Bodycount's multiplayer in action. Bodycount is out on August 23rd in North America and September 2nd in Europe.
