Apparently, there's so much content being crammed into the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection, Konami has had to resort to utilising two discs for the Xbox 360 version. Bundling Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker into one box, the collection will also include a raft of bonus content.
First of all, the HD revamp of Peace Walker will include 4-player co-op (this we already know), but 6-player competitive multiplayer will also feature. There'll also be conversions of the original MSX games Metal Gear 1&2, included as part of the collection, and the additional MGS2: Substance VR missions will also be chucked in for good measure.
That's one hell of a collection. Konami has also announced a November 23rd launch date for the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection in Japan, and while the publisher has yet to confirm dates for North America and Europe, certain retailers tag the game's release for November 8th and November 25th respectively in the two territories. This has not yet been verified though, so take those dates with a pinch of salt.
