As Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City is still waiting on a solid release date, Capcom has shifted the game's release window from 'late 2011' into the slightly less specific 'winter' slot, which puts the latest instalment of Resident Evil anywhere between December of this year to March next year.
Capcom has told Kotaku that Resident Evil: Raccoon City is "definitely locked in for winter," when asked about the release date, which suggests that the game has been delayed into later in the year or it could quite possibly see launch early next year.
So, Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City could arrive anytime between December 22nd and March 19th, which Kotaku notes is technically what one would consider the winter period. With that in mind, an early 2012 release seems likely.
