Spider-Man: Edge of Time swings into stores in North America today, bringing with it a new launch trailer and a combat vignette, showing the web-slinger in action. Featuring both the Amazing Spider-Man of Peter Parker and Spider-Man 2099 AKA Miguel O'Hara, Edge of Time has you playing in two different time zones, with cause and effect gameplay.

There's even a picture-in-picture feature that shows the consequences of your actions between one timeline and the other, as you strive to prevent a cataclysmic event from occuring. Along the way you'll encounter villains like Anti-Venom and Black Cat 2099.

Check out both new trailers below, then get your web on with Spider-Man: Edge of Time today in North America and on October 14th in Europe.

  • This game could well be lushious...but i thought it was set in more than two different time zones?
  • Gimme, Gimme, Gimme!
  • You better hope to god it isn't because the last spiderman wasn't that great. Felt like love actually with a bunch of different spiderman's. Neither of which I could follow or care for.
  • i hope anti-venome will be playable character.
  • Looks good. Abit similar to the last one but still more Spider-man is a good thing, espesh after the X-men disappointment. Want a good Marvel game! MUA1 and MVC3 were good but a solo adventure would be nice! *Thwip*
  • Seems a bit promising. But I'd rather get Arkham City than this. ;)
  • Anyone know if this ties into Shattered Dimensions or if you have to have played that one at all?
  • @7 I do know that you unlock costumes if you have played shattered dimensions. As for if the story is connected I don't believe so.
  • How many bad games can they make...
  • Well this certainly looks better than the last superhero game I played (Green Lantern), but that isn't saying much. I hope it isn't as repetitive as it looks.
  • @9 You must be on crack, Shattered Dimensions was great. This game will be a disappointment, for me. The combat is exactly the same as Shattered Dimensions. I may pick this up, but Batman Arkham City will be first priority.
  • this and shattered dimensions are cool having some camera trouble esp while wall crawling, for some reason i miss swingin through a city delivering pizzas for no achievement though?
  • @7 in no way have i noticed yet and im almost completely through it
  • This looks pretty cool, but I have a feeling it will end up like previous game and go to bargain bin soon.
  • Looks interesting - worth checking out (as opposed to this post)
