Namco Bandai has revealed that a second batch of Ace Combat: Assault Horizon DLC is in the offing, with a pair of new skins for decorating some of your jets and a new plane, the fictional but rather cool ASF-X Shinden II.

One of the new skins is a garish, flaming orange Jack 'O Lantern design in time for some Halloween dogfighting action, while the other skin is a Red Devils (a legendary US Marine Corps squad) motif for the F/A-18F Super Hornet.

You'll be able to get your hands on the ASF-X Shinden II and the two skins when the new Ace Combat: Assault Horizon DLC lands safely on Xbox Live on October 25th for an as yet unconfirmed price. Check out some of the 21 new screenshots below, then check out our definitive Assault Horizon verdict.

Lol. only took 70 years. The shinden was a plane from WWII. Surprised they didn't put it Japan's 5th gen fighter in development(Basically a copy of the American Raptor)

Just picked up this game the other day, i payed the full price, and I must say, I really like playing through the campaign, Its intense, with the great music, it draws me in and I forget whats happening around me. I cant believe gamespot rated this a 5,5 lol, its the last time i look at reviews before I get a game. And i certainly wont be checking gamespot anymore. Its good to have a idea of a game by reading a review, but the GS review is just gonna make people laugh at this game.
This game is exciting and the follow-plane mode is great, making dogfights more fast paced insted of looping around forever till you get behind a plane.
