Looks like it's your lucky day (10 points)
You completed a level without taking any damage

As soon as you acquire the Angel Boost ability, replay mission 3 on Human difficulty. Kill the first enemy wave and cross over to the end of the level using the Angel Boost. If you take any damage use "Restart Level" instead of "Restart Checkpoint".
Level 15 might also be a good bet as you don't have to fight anyone. Complete the level without missing a single jump and ignoring the enemies.

Every hero has a weakness (10 points)
You completed Furnace of Souls without taking damage from the furnace

On mission 17, fire will shoot out from between the platforms. You have to complete the whole level without taking damage from the fire. Take your time with every jump but be quick when you have to use the Angel Lift ability ( + ). It might be tricky to know if the fire hurt you because nothing except your health bar will tell you if you took damage (no vibration in your controller for example). If the fire hurts you, simplly restart to the last checkpoint.

It's only the rain (10 points)
You Killed 10 enemies by pushing them into the Hurricane ride

The Hurricane Ride will be found in the first level.
Ten enemies will spawn in this area and you have to levitate all of them into the Hurricane Ride. It's very easy if playing on human, simply hit  (do not hold) and the enemies will die instantly as the Ride crushes them.

A man with guts and honor (10 points)
You reached the end of the descent on Mission 6 having killed all of the enemies

On mission 6 you will have to get to the end of the descent in less than two minutes which is very easy, although, you will have to fight all the enemies in your way. It isn't hard even on the harder difficulties. Take your time to kill the enemies any way you like and the achievement should unlock as soon as you use the Demon Pull ( + ) to open the valve at the end.

Now my coat's all charred (10 points)
You navigated the Sky Bridge without hitting the lasers

You will eventually get to a hallway of lasers in mission 16. You have to get to the end of that hallway without touching any of the lasers. As the lasers pause, simply use the Angel Boost ability to bypass them. There will be a fight in the middle of that hallway, but you don't have to worry about any damage taken there. If you miss anything simply restart to the previous checkpoint.

Where does the time go? (10 points)
You completed a level in 2 minutes or less

Once you have acquired the Angel Boost ability, replay mission 3 on an easy difficulty. Kill the first wave of enemies and get to the end of the level using the Angel boost. Or this can be done on chapter 15 by simply ignoring the enemies.

 For Tony Redgrave (10 points)
You killed 50 enemies using nothing but firearms

There are three firearms in the game (Ebony & Ivory, Revenant and Kablooey). Once they're unlocked, you can switch to any of them by pressing  and they are used by pressing . The easiest enemies to kill with firearms are Bathos and Pathos. Use the Demon Lift ability ( + ) on Pathos to take off his shield before shooting him.
Most of the other enemies can also be killed by guns, but I'd suggest to damage them first. Killing them only with firearms will take much more effort. 50 gun kills is very easy if playing on Heaven or Hell difficulty as the enemies die with a single bullet.

In the name of my father (10 points)
You killed 100 enemies using nothing but Demon weapons

There are two Demon weapons in the game (Arbiter and the Eryx fists). Once they're unlocked, you can switch to any of them by pressing  and they are used by applying any of the unlocked combos while holding the  button. This achievement will unlock naturally as you play through the game.

You'll never have her fire (10 points)
You killed 100 enemies using nothing but Angel weapons

There are two Angel weapons in the game (Osiris and Aquila). Once they're unlocked, you can switch to any of the by pressing  and they are used by applying any of the unlocked combos while holding the button. This achievement will unlock naturally as you play through the game.

 Impressive (10 points)
You have slayed 100 Demons

See "Looks like we have a winner" achievement.

 Bring it on! (20 points)
You have slayed 1,000 Demons

See "Looks like we have a winner" achievement.

Looks like we have a winner (30 points)
You have slayed 5,000 Demons

5000 kills might sounds like a lot but if you're going for the full gamerscore, this achievement will unlock naturally. If after you've completed everything else you still need kills, load chapter 10 with Super Dante active and get to the part where you'll be fighting enemies as well as being filmed by the camera. Activate Super Dante and use Ebony and Ivory to rack up kills. As soon as the reporter talks about sexual diseases, restart the checkpoint. Rinse and repeat until you unlock the achievement.

 Sensational! (10 points)
You gained a SSS Style Rank during combat

A SSS Style Rank is unlocked when a good variation of combos is applied without taking any damage. This achievement will of course be easier if most of the upgrades are unlocked. Try to combine all four Angel & Demon weapons and your firearms in the same fight.
Personal tips: The Trinity Smash is an extremely powerful combo that gives a lot of style points (Rebellion  Pause (Arbiter) + ). I'd suggest using this ability when a few enemies are remaining. It's a very slow attack, you don't want other enemies to hit you while you perform your Trinity Smash.
The Tremor attack (Arbiter + ) is also very good to hit many lined up enemies at the same time. Another combo that greatly helps me to rack up a lot of points is the combination of the Buy In, Killer and Cleaver (Aquila  +  Pause + ) + (Aquila  +  +  + ) + (Osiris +  +  Pause  +  + ). Buy In and the Eryx Stomp will help you tremendously -> (Aquila  +  pause + ) + (Double Jump + Eryx ).
The start of mission 11 on is a good spot to unlock the achievement.

It's showtime. Come on! (20 points)
You earned 1,500 Style Bonuses

This is a cummulative achievement and will unlock with natural progession.
Style Bonuses are awarded when a combination of many different attacks is applied. Simply play the game using your favorites combos and it should unlock either on your first or second playthrough.

This is my kind of rain (10 points)
You have spent 10,000 Red Orbs

See "Absolutely crazy about it" achievement.

Absolutely crazy about it (20 points)
You have Spent 50,000 Red Orbs

Red Orbs is the money system in DmC. You can spend them on items that can be bought before you start a mission or at Divinity Statues. Killing enemies, finding the Lost Souls and destroying environmental objects (lamp posts, gambling machines, red cocoons) will bring you Red Orbs. 50,000 should take between 3 and 4 playthroughs to earn. I'd suggest buying Health and Devil Trigger crosses first as they're expensive and are very helpful for the Dante Must Die difficulty (they are also needed for "Let's rock, baby!" and "You can't handle it" achievements).

 Let’s rock, baby! (10 points)
You have upgraded Dante's health to maximum

To max out Dante's health, you'll have to have to buy all 6 Health crosses which will cost 29,000 Red Orbs and complete the first 13 secret missions. To complete the secret missions, you'll first have to find the keys required to open the Secret Doors that give access to the secret missions. A guide on where to find all the collectibles can be found Here and a guide for the secret missions themselves can be found Here.

You can't handle it (10 points)
You have upgraded Dante's Devil Trigger to maximum

To max out Dante's Devil Trigger, you'll have to buy all 3 Devil Trigger crosses which will cost 16,000 Red Orbs and complete the last 8 secret missions. To complete the secret missions, you'll first have to find the keys required to open the Secret Doors that give access to the secret missions. A guide on where to find all the collectibles can be found Here and a guide for the secret missions themselves can be found Here.

Power... Give me more power! (20 points)
You have purchased all of Dante's combat upgrades

Dante can unlock 79 upgrades through the game. These are bought through the pre-mission settings or via the Divinity Statues. Upgrade points are required to buy new abilities and are earned by gaining Style Points. You should have enough upgrade points in either your third or fourth playthrough.

Dude, the show's over! (10 points)
You have found all 21 Keys

There are 21 collectible Keys in DmC. They are required to open the Secret Doors.

Keeps getting better and better (40 points)
You have been awarded a 100% completion rank on all missions

There are 122 collectibles in the game that need to be found (80 Lost Souls, 21 Keys and 21 Secret Doors). You can't get all of them on your first playthrough as certain abilities are required to access these.
Finding all collectibles on a level will help you get the SSS rank at the end of it. A great playlist of video guides has been made and can be found Here.

 Stylish! (10 points)
Completed a mission with a SSS rank

See "Jackpot!" achievement.

 Too easy! (40 points)
Completed all missions on the Son of Sparda difficulty

The Son of Sparda difficulty is unlocked after completing the game on Human, Devil Hunter or Nephilim. The enemies are tougher and the enemy waves are remixed from the previous difficulties. See the "Devils never cry" achievement for tips.

 Devils never cry (100 points)
Completed all missions on the Dante Must Die difficulty

The Dante Must Die difficulty is unlocked by completing the game on the Son of Sparda difficulty. The enemies are even tougher than in Son of Sparda and the enemy waves are "insanely" remixed. If you saved up your items since the beginning, use them as you wish. If you're eventually game over, you will restart to the last checkpoint with your items back.
Many enemies are a pain-in-the-ass and ,very often, you'll be fighting many of them at the same time.

  • Overall ground enemies: There are safe attacks that can be used. For example, (Eryx + Jump + Hold ) or (Arbiter + ). Both of them work even on shielded enemies. The Trinity Smash is by far the most powerful attack (Arbiter +  +  Pause ), but I'd suggest using it when there are only a few enemies remaining as it's very slow.
  • Flying shielded enemies: I'd suggest killing them first as they'll attack you with range attacks. I use the Demon Pull on their shield first ( + ), then the Angel Lift to reach them ( + ) followed by rebellion combos to knock them off ( +  Pause +  ) or ( +  +  +  ).
  • Ground shielded enemies: Depending on the amount of other enemies, use two followed Demon Pulls ( + ) on them and then use all of your favorite Arbiter or Eryx Fists combos (Arbiter  +  Pause + ) or (Eryx  +  Pause ) or (Eryx + Jump + Hold ).
  • Chainsaw guys: If they charge at you, hold  +  +  +  with the rebellion to shoot three blades to stun him as well as inflicting a lot of damage.
  • Tyrans (huge rock babies): When one of them charges at you, double jump over him, use Demon Pull ( + ) on his back and use the Trinity Smash on him (Arbiter  +  pause + ).
  • Butchers (giant guys with circular saws): The Butchers have unpredictable attacks so for this reason, even if it takes time to kill them, I use the Arbiter to smash his belly twice and then evade. A charged Uppercut (Eryx + Hold ) or a Trinity Smash (Arbiter +  +  Pause + ) is extremely powerful against them, but be very careful when using these attacks.
  • Harpies (flying metal witches): Shoot their wings with your preferred firearm, use the Angel Lift to get closer and just spam any of your favorite combos.
  • Rage, Blood Rage & Ghost Rage (normal, blue and red spiky animals): These are really annoying and they are very often coming in groups of two. If they are normal or blue, I personally love to damage them in the air. For the Ghost Rage, I double jump over them and then use the Osiris to lift them up ( + ) -> Double up (Osiris +  +  Pause  +  + ) -> Angel Lift ( + ) -> (Aquila +  +  Pause ) -> (Aquila  +  +  + ). That was one of my personal favorite air Combo. If there are two ghost rage, you can use Round Trip (Aquila + ) to immobilize both of them to then blast them with Angel combos. If you encounter one Blood rage and one Ghost Rage I'd suggest killing the Ghost Rage first as they're harder to kill. For the Blood Rage, use the Eryx Stomp (Jump + Hold ) or combine any Eryx/Arbiter combos. Again, they're very annoying, but you'll figure out your own way.
  • Witches: I suggest killing them first. Use the Round Trip (Aquila + ) attack to take off their shields and simply spam them when they are stun. Rinse and repeat until death.
  • Dreamrunners (Ninjas): These are tricky. When they jump in their portal, you got two options. First one, wait for him to jump out , evade and spam him with Rebellion or Eryx. Second one, hold  or with Eryx or hold  with Rebellion, release when they jump out to stun them and inflict Rebellion or Eryx combos.

This is what I live for! (10 points)
Completed all missions on Heaven Or Hell difficulty

This game mode is unlocked after completing the game on Son of Sparda difficulty. When playing on Heaven Or Hell difficulty, you kill anyone in one hit and you die in one hit. It's much easier than it sounds. Use Ebony & Ivory to kill anyone in one hit. I also suggest completing the game on Dante Must Die difficulty first as you'll unlock the infinite Devil Trigger which will makes your playthrough even more easier.

And welcome to Hell! (100 points)
Completed all missions on Hell and Hell difficulty

If you're new to the Devil May Cry games, the first time you hear about Hell and Hell, it sounds impossible as maybe it was in previous games. In this one, it's much easier. What is this mode about? You die in one hit, the enemies have their normal health and the difficulty is set to normal. If you die, you can use up to 3 Golden Orbs to revive yourself as they're free and unlimited. If you loose all your orbs and die, you will restart to the last checkpoint with all your Orbs and items back. Something else that will make your playthrough a cake walk is the Super Dante (infinite Devil Trigger) ability that is unlocked by completing the game on Dante Must Die difficulty. What's the Devil Trigger ability? It levitates the enemies in the air which makes them vulnerable to all your attacks… the best thing is, you can use it as much as you want.
See This Guide for tips on bosses.

 Jackpot! (80 points)
Completed all missions on the Nephilim difficultly with a SSS rank

There are three factors that will decide of your overall rank at the end of a mission. Your Style Points, the time it took to complete the mission and the percentage of collectibles found. Obviously, the level has to be completed in the shortest amount of time. Finding all the collectibles is also highly suggested. The hardest part though, is to earn a big amount of Style Points. It's also what will most likely decide of your overall rank at the end of a mission. The best way to rack up points is to use as many different combos as possible. The Trinity Smash is an extremely powerful combo that gives a lot of style points (Rebellion  +  Pause Arbiter + ). I'd suggest using this ability when only a few enemies are remaining. It's a very slow attack, you don't want other enemies to hit you while you perform it. The Tremor attack (Arbiter + ) is also very good to hit many lined up enemies at the same time. Another combo that greatly helps me to rack up a lot of points is the combination of the Buy In and the Eryx Stomp (Aquila  +  pause + ) + (Double Jump + Eryx ). Other great combo -> Buy In, Killer and Cleaver (Aquila  +  Pause + ) + (Aquila  +  + ) + (Osiris +  +  Pause  +  + ).
If you go in Select Missions, you can see the rank you already achieved on every mission.

This party's just getting crazy! (20 points)
You have completed 10 of the Secret Missions

See the "One hell of a party!" achievement.

One hell of a party! (50 points)
You have completed all of the Secret Missions

To unlock all the secret missions, you first need to find all the keys to unlock all the secret doors. Once this is done, you can play any of the secret missions from the main menu. Some are very easy, some are much harder, but with practice you'll eventually complete all of them. Here's a guide for the secret missions.

We have an uninvited guest (10 points)
Defeat a Wisp

You'll find one of these guys at the start of the second fight in the very first mission you play Vergil in. As their name suggests, they have a sort of cloak that you'll want to lower by using your ranged sword attack so you can hit him no problem. Other than that, it's a very easy enemy.

You don't belong here (10 points)
Defeat an Imprisoner

You'll confront these 6 armed monstrosities a couple of times throughout the game (which you'll have to play through multiple times..), with the first encounter being at the end of mission 4.

Our souls are at odds brother (20 points)
Complete Vergil's downfall

Complete all 6 levels of Vergil's Downfall on any difficulty. You'll need to do this multiple times, so this will unlock naturally.

I've come to retrieve my power (30 points)
Acquire all of Vergil's health, Devil trigger and combat upgrades

Depending on how well you play, you should have all of the necessary items and unlocks during your third playthrough of the DLC once you have upgraded all of Vergil's abilities and purchased the 4 health crosses and 5 devil trigger crosses from the shop as well as found ever health cross collectible.

You can look HERE for my collectibles guide.

I'll try it your way for once (50 points)
Complete all missions in Vergil's downfall on the Nephilim difficulty with a SSS rank

Unlike your SSS playthrough as Dante, you'll want to keep up one of Vergil's devil trigger attacks for pretty much the entirety of the campaign. I highly recommend going the Spiral Sword route as this doesn't do a ton of damage, allowing you to make longer chains, but it is also VERY good at stunning enemies that come close to you if you aren't able to react in time, also saving your chain. The little extra boost in damage also helps you speed through the levels at just the right pace and is perfect for helping you cut down multiple flying enemies at once while you attack one.

Other than that, you will also want to change your abilities up a bit, focusing on Angel Mode attacks as they are all lightning fast and deal damage to multiple enemies, but you'll also want to mix in some standard attacks and most importantly you'll want to do some perfectly timed perfect slices and atomics, using your standard Yamato and demon mode respectively. Atomic is especially effective at keeping multiple heavy enemies (like the chainsaw guys or even an imprisoner) relatively stunlocked when they work alongside your spiral sword, allowing you to pretty efficiently clear even the toughest enemies without losing your combo.

As you can tell, the key is to keep your combo going, and the best way to do that in this DLC especially is to avoid extended periods of floating in open space. The less often you fall off a ledge, the less often you will break your combo, and it can be very easy to fall off (and even be launched off..kind of glitchy) of ledges in this DLC.

This is considerably easier than the similar achievement in the full game, even though the fight with Shadow Vergil may get kind of tricky, the style points requirement is rather low for that fight.

I need more power! (20 points)

You're not worthy as my opponent (40 points)
Complete Vergil's downfall on Hell and Hell difficulty

As with DMC, complete each successive difficulty to unlock the next. On the final difficulty (Hell and Hell) you will be dealing with remixed enemies at full health, but you will die in one hit. Again, you will have 3 golden orbs to revive you, basically giving you 3 freebie deaths before a continue. You will also unlock Super Vergil (the outfit is unlocked during mission 6), just as Super Dante in DMC was unlocked, by beating Vergil Must Die. Thus you will have infinite doppleganger and spiral sword for the duration, which will make life easier, alongside Vergil's innate speed which is considerably faster than Dante (primarily because I found his angel mode moves more well rounded).

General Tips
I recommend you practice perfecting the Atomic skill ( + hold :bbut) as that is able to knock up every ground enemy in the game. For the aerial types, you should practice pulling them in ( + :xbut) and then tapping by itself to jump straight up and slamming + double tap to stomp on them. Repeat this jump-stomp process rapidly to stunlock enemies, and this is especially effective against Wisps. It's also important to master the Perfect Slice as it does considerable damage to very large groups of enemies, lowering the time you need to spend fighting enemies by a considerable margin. Of course, don't forget to keep up Spiral Sword and Doppleganger (who you should keep in angel mode for crowd control - ), and you might as well use Blistering Swords as much as you want to help take down flying enemies quicker.

Tips for Shadow Vergil
Far and away the hardest part of this DLC will be the fight with..yourself..until you figure out the pattern. For the most part you want to be aggressive as far as staying on top of him, as this tends to lower the chances of him using blistering swords, while increasing his chance of doing any of his aerial meteor attacks. Use the standard attacks as your primary damage, using Angel Mode and dodge to sprint around the screen, allowing you to deal instant damage when there's an opening with (Hold for Perfect Slice) being your best combo, and pause being very good as well, although it actually tends to be a bit slower in my experience. Anyway, when the boss pulls back to do one of his aerial attacks, jump straight up once to completely avoid damage and allow you to quickly drop down to attack him while he is defenseless. Pair this opening with your doppleganger ( + , also he seems to be most effective as demon mode so you're attacking at different intervals) to deal immense amounts of damage in this opening. During the intermission phases, where he pulls out of range and uses sword attacks, make sure you just get the dodge timing down, which only requires some practice, and prepare for the next phase where he speeds up a bit, but the same strategy as stage one still applies. By the final stage he will have very little health left, and you should be able to quickly finish him off.

One side note for Shadow Vergil is that you can use Spiral Sword to block a single Perfect Slice attack, and reuse the ability to block the next and so on, but this seems to keep Vergil farther away from you and constantly moving away from you, which can be frustrating.

 Might controls everything (20 points)
Gain a 100% completion rank on all missions in Vergil's downfall (difficulty doesn't matter)

Upon gathering all health upgrades and lost souls found in the game(required for "I Come to Retrieve My Power") finish the last mission you needed to get an upgrade on and when you get the SSS Completion to pop up during the stats screen, the achievement will pop as well.
