Not a Novice Anymore (40 points)
Complete the game (awarded just before credits)
This achievement is unlocked after completing Chapter 4. There is no difficulty level setting so this is awarded for completing the game and should unlock like the description states just before the credits.

 Flying Fish (20 points)
Perform 50 Leap Attacks with The Missing Link.
The Missing Link’s leap attack is done by holding the Button. When the attack is fully charged his hands will have a bright white glow around them and a chime will sound. When the attack if fully charged release the Button and The Missing Link will go into slow motion. The attack will launch any nearby enemies into the air. When they are in the air target markers will appear on each enemy. Move the over each of the enemies – after all are highlighted he will attack performing a one hit kill. Repeat this 49 more times and the achievement will unlock.

There is no need to rush this achievement because of the length of the campaign and the challenge missions. The attack is especially helpful when facing large numbers of enemies and the time trials during the challenges.

Stay Put and Watch (5 points)
Watch credits until the end
You must watch the credits to unlock this achievement. You can watch the credits after you have completed the game or by selecting Credits from the Special Features Menu.

 Casual Collector (20 points)
Collect 100,000 monster DNA particles in the game.
DNA particles are located throughout the game. Simply walk by them to pick them up (if you are playing in co-op; the second controller can scroll over the DNA particles and that will pick them up as well. If you make an attempt to pick up the DNA particles during the game this achievement should unlock with very little effort because of the length of the game.

 Never Say Enough (70 points)
Collect 500,000 monster DNA particles in the game.
This achievement is a little harder than “Casual Collector” because you will have to replay some of the missions to get to the 500,000. Finishing a mission with a high DNA multiplier will help get you this achievement quicker.

See “Be My Guest” for more details on how to boost your DNA particles.

 Full Arsenal (30 points)
Buy all upgrades for all characters (Green nodes).
For this achievement you need to purchase all the character upgrades (Green Nodes) found throughout the DNA sequence. There are a total of 13 single character upgrades in the DNA sequence. To purchase the upgrades you must start from the beginning and purchase each in order – you can not unlock the DNA nodes until you unlock the one before it. You should have no trouble collecting enough DNA particles to purchase all the upgrades.

Two is Better than One (15 points)
Buy all coop upgrades (Light Blue nodes).
For this achievement you need to purchase all the co-op upgrades (Light Blue Nodes) found throughout the DNA sequence. There are a total of 10 co-op upgrades in the DNA sequence. To purchase the upgrades you must start from the beginning and purchase each in order – you can not unlock the DNA nodes until you unlock the one before it. You should have no trouble collecting enough DNA particles to purchase all the upgrades.

 Art Aficionado (30 points)
Buy every concept art (Yellow nodes).

For this achievement you need to purchase all the concept art and movie stills (Yellow Nodes) found throughout the DNA sequence. There are a total of 51concept art and movie stills in the DNA sequence. To purchase the upgrades you must start from the beginning and purchase each in order – you can not unlock the DNA nodes until you unlock the one before it. You should have no trouble collecting enough DNA particles to purchase all the yellow nodes.

 Shopping Frenzy (15 points)
Buy all surprises available (Purple nodes).
For this achievement you need to purchase all the surprises: Deleted Scenes, Audio Commentary, 3D models, etc. (Purple Nodes) found throughout the DNA sequence. There are a total of 45 purple nodes in the DNA sequence. To purchase the upgrades you must start from the beginning and purchase each in order – you can not unlock the DNA nodes until you unlock the one before it. You should have no trouble collecting enough DNA particles to purchase all the purple nodes.

 That’s a Blast (10 points)
Have a team-mate use the Charge Blast for the first time in Coop.
This achievement can be done with a friend (local only) or by your self and it is best to do this after you have completed the game.

In order to use the Charge Blast attack in Co-Op you must first unlock the ability to use the Charge Blast in the DNA sequence. Once you have unlocked it, replay any mission and sign in a second controller. Use the second controller and press and hold the Button. The icon for the second controller will start to flash when you hold the Button. Release the Button and it will shoot a Charge Blast. You don’t have to hit anything with it you just have to shoot it.

I would recommend unlocking this one after you have completed the game because it is further along the DNA sequence.

 Strong Attraction (10 points)
Have a team-mate use the Tractor Beam for the first time in Coop.
 See “Maximum Attraction” Achievement

 Collateral Damage (10 points)
Have a team-mate Destroy 30 EyeScouts and Helicopters in Ginormica levels in Coop.
This achievement can be done with a friend (local only) or by your self and it is best to do this after you have completed the game – you will be dieing a lot.

The Eye Scouts are the small alien flying ships (found in the later levels) and the Helicopters are the human flying ships (found in the earlier levels). If doing this on your own select the first Ginormica mission (Chapter 1 – Mission 1: Jail Break) and start up a second controller. Take control of the second controller as soon as the mission starts and direct the on screen curser with the and use the to shoot (make sure you have the Blast Attack – white energy bar and not the Tractor Beam – green energy bar). Highlight any Helicopters you see and shoot them down. Since you are not controlling Ginormica she will die – let the game reload the last checkpoint and repeat until the achievement unlocks.

 Air Support Master (20 points)
Have a team-mate Destroy 100 BHolders in The Missing Link and B.O.B. levels in Coop.
This achievement can be done with a friend (local only) or by your self and can be done while playing the campaign because the Blast Attack is available as soon as you start a second controller.

During any of The Missing Link or B.O.B. missions start up a second controller. When you are in a safe location – no enemies to attack your main character – take control of the second controller and use the Blast Attack (Press the Button or Pull The to execute a Blast Attack) to kill any of the small circular “eye” shaped flying objects (same as on the achievement picture) that are flying around you. Progress through the mission until you come across more - clear the area and repeat. You have to destroy 100 for the achievement to unlock. The game keeps track of your kills and there are more than enough missions to work on this so there is no need to rush the achievement.

 Maximum Attraction (10 points)
Have a team-mate Tractor 50 enemies in The Missing Link and B.O.B. levels in Coop.
In order to use the Tractor Beam attack in Co-Op you must first unlock the ability to use the Tractor Beam. Once you have unlocked it, replay any mission and sign in a second controller. The standard attack for the second player is a white blast attack (Not the Charge Blast – that is a different attack). In the upper Right hand corner of the screen you will see the power bar and the weapon in use by the second controller. The blast attack shows a White bar under the power bar and the Tractor Beam shows an Green bar under the power bar. The Button will change between the Blast Attack and Tractor Beam Attack. Use the second controller’s to move the curser around the screen. When an enemy is highlighted the curser will turn Orange – Press and Hold the Button or Pull and Hold the to engage the Tractor Beam. If you hold the button long enough the enemy will die - use the to move the enemy then releasing the button will kill the enemy quicker.

Do this 49 more times and the achievement will unlock.

 Great Tackler (15 points)
Destroy 10 drones with Ginormica’s dash.
 See “Master Tackler” achievement.

 Master Tackler (20 points)
Destroy 25 drones with Ginormica’s dash.
The drones are the larger rolling enemies on the Ginormica levels. When you get close to one of the enemies hit the Button to use Ginormica’s dash attack. If you time the attack right she will charge her way through the enemy. Do this 24 more time and the achievement will unlock. As with most of the other attack achievements there is no reason to rush this as you will have no trouble acquiring it during the story mode.

Get Out of the Way (10 points)
Use Ginormica’s chain dash for the first time.
In order to use Ginormica’s Chain Dash you must first unlock it in the DNA sequence. After you unlock it you will have the ability to use the Chain Dash any time you are playing a level as Ginormica. The Chain Dash works exactly the same as her normal dash – you start the Chain Dash by pressing the Button when near one of the rolling enemies. After you hit the first one you will be prompted on the screen to press a corresponding button. Pressing the correct button will continue the dash creating a chain dash.

 Bring it On (10 points)
Defeat a Beam Bot without getting hit.
The Beam Bot is the large cylindrical shaped robot that appears in a few of the Ginormica levels. The best time to get this achievement is the first time you face the Beam Bot in the Under Attack level (Chapter 2 – Mission 1: Under Attack). The Beam Bot has three different attacks: The low Red Lasers, The Green Lasers, and the Laser Beam. The low Red Lasers you have to jump (press the Button to Jump) – the trick is though that you have to wait for the bot to plant the lasers before you jump. Wait until you are almost to the lasers then jump or double jump (press the Button twice to double jump) to make sure you clear them (there are usually two or three beams in a row). To get by the Green Lasers you just have to duck (duck by pressing and holding the ). The Laser Beam is a red beam shot from the Beam Bot’s head. Double Jump away from the beam. After you get by 4 – 5 of the beams you will get a button mashing sequence. Pass the sequence and you defeat the Beam Bot.

 Just Warming Up (10 points)
Defeat 50 enemies with The Missing Link.
See “Could I Be Any Better Than This” Achievement

 Can't Get Enough! (20 points)
Defeat 100 enemies with The Missing Link.
See “Could I Be Any Better Than This” Achievement

Could I be any better than this? (35 points)
Defeat 300 enemies with The Missing Link.
Simply defeat 300 enemies with The Missing Link. There is no reason to rush this achievement unless you want the achievement quicker. With the number of missions that involve The Missing Link combined with the number of Monster Challenges that also involve him you should have no trouble getting to 300 kills.

 Bull Rider (10 points)
Destroy 10 Turrets using the Rodeo mode while climbing with The Missing Link.
 See “Cowboy Master” Achievement

 Cowboy Master (20 points)
Destroy 30 Turrets using the Rodeo mode while climbing with The Missing Link.
To use the Rodeo mode on the turrets first you must attack (using any of the attack buttons or throwing something into it) until the turret starts smoking. When you are next to a smoking turret you will get a prompt on screen to press the Button. After pressing the Button you will climb on top of the turret. Follow the on screen button prompts to destroy the turret. Do this 30 times and the achievement will unlock. There is no reason to rush this because you will have no trouble unlocking this achievement through the campaign part of the game. You can also use the Monster Challenges to unlock this achievement.

 Strike with Attitude (10 points)
Use The Missing Link’s Leap Attack for the first time.
 See “Flying Fish” Achievement

 Expert Pitcher (10 points)
Throw 25 enemies with The Missing Link.
To throw an enemy you must stand near it and press the Button to pick him up. Pull the and you will throw the enemy. Do this 25 times and the achievement will unlock. There is no reason to rush this achievement since you will be working toward 300 kills anyway.

 Pinball Fan (10 points)
Use the Bumpers for the first time.
This achievement is part of the story mode and can not be missed. You will be prompted to use the bumpers when you stand on the activation pad. Pressing the Button will activate the bumpers.

 Around the World (10 points)
Use the Pole Vault for the first time.
This achievement is part of the story mode and can not be missed. You will be prompted to use the pole vault when you stand on the activation pad. Pressing the Button will make you jump on the pole. Pressing the Button again will jump you to the next pole. At the end of the line of poles pressing the Button will make you jump off the poles.

 Glutton (15 points)
Swallow 20 enemies/objects with B.O.B.
 See “Gourmet” Achievement

 Gourmet (30 points)
Swallow 50 enemies/objects with B.O.B.
In order to swallow an enemy / object you must be standing next to it. There will be an on screen prompt to press the Button to grab the enemy / object. Pressing the will throw the enemy / object and pressing the Button again will spit it out. Do this 50 times and the achievement will unlock. There is no reason to rush this achievement because you will have to pick up / throw more than 50 enemies / objects throughout the campaign and challenges.

 Machine Gun Specialist (20 points)
Complete one B.O.B. Turret sequence without being hit.
Turret sequences happen during some of the B.O.B. missions. The easies way to get this achievement is to continue holding the to shoot then pull the to engage his shield when you get in trouble. Your first opportunity to do a turret sequence a (Chapter 1 – Mission 3: Hypnosis) is also the easiest.

 Safety First (10 points)
Activate B.O.B.’s Shield for the first time.
You are only able to use B.O.B.’s shield during the turret sequences. Your first chance is during the Chapter 1 – Mission 3: Hypnosis. While standing on a turret platform pull the to activate the shied. After you activate it the achievement will unlock.

 Olympic Champion (10 points)
Get a medal for all Monster Challenges.
 See “Gold Olympic Champion” Achievement

 Gold Olympic Champion (30 points)
Get a Gold Medal for all Monster Challenges.
There are 35 Monster Challenges in the DNA sequence. You earn medals for completing the challenges under the specified terms. Some of the challenges are fairly easy others are frustrating. Most of the challenges will require you to be perfect or near perfect to earn a gold medal. Keep trying them to learn the patterns and requirements. It will take some time but they are all achievable.

You can go back to the DNA sequence after you have completed the game to finish the challenges. There is discussion about failing the challenges affecting your “do not fail more than 10 times in the game” achievement. Concentrate on the following challenges to unlock the upgrades listed then save the rest for the end of the game.

Challenge # 2 – Unlocks Co-Op Charge Blast
Challenge # 3 – Unlocks Ginormica’s Chain Dash

Both upgrades are purchasable after you have completed the challenge. The rest of the upgrades can wait until the end of the game.

 My Thumb Hurts (20 points)
Get a score of 5,000,000.
Your total score is a combination of the highest score you have received in each of the missions you have completed. There are a total of 25 missions so an average of 200,00 per mission will unlock this achievement. As long as you destroy everything you can and kill as many of the enemies on each mission as possible you should have very little trouble reaching 5,000,000 points.

 Be my Guest (50 points)
Get a score of 10,000,000.
To earn a total of 10,000,000 points you will have to work a lot harder than you did for the 5,000,000 points. You get a number of different bonus scores at the end of each mission for doing certain things. If you have another Dreamworks game save on your hard drive you get an automatic 30,000 point bonus. Using a second controller (you don’t actually have to play with it – just make sure it is turned on and you press the A Button to join the game) and you will get another 40,000 point bonus. Getting a flawless (don’t get hit during the mission) you will double your total mission score.

The easiest way to get this achievement is to replay Chapter 3, Mission 19: Final Lap. About halfway through the mission you will have to face a Beam Bot that will be dropping lasers near land mines. Start up a second controller and only play with the second controller. Concentrate your fire on the middle light of the Beam Bot (your targeting icon should auto lock onto it). Keep pressing the Button to attack the Beam Bot. Ginormica will die (if you defeat the Beam Bot before she dies just don’t press her attack button and you will be sent back to the last checkpoint) but that is ok. If you press the Button fast enough you should be able to get approximately 35,000– 40,000 points and 3,000 DNA particles every 35 – 40 seconds. You should already know your total point score for the game so just play until you get the points you need to reach 10,000,000. I was 400,000 away so I played the same spot until I earned 400,000 points then I finished the mission (You MUST finish the mission for the score to be saved). After my multipliers and bonuses I finished the mission with nearly 10,000,000 points!

Team Supremacy (35 points)
Complete Chapter 4 without failing more than 10 times.
 See “Remember The Heroes” Achievement

Remember the Heroes (80 points)
Complete the game without failing 10 times.

In order to unlock this achievement you can not die / fail more than 10 times throughout the entire game. Most of the missions will cause you little trouble but others; like some of Ginormica’s and most of B.O.B.’s will be more difficult. If you think you are going to die (you health is very low or B.O.B. is about to fall through the floor) you can pause the game and quit to the main menu then continue the game. If you do die hit the Xbox button and quit out to the dashboard. This takes long time if you die on a regular basis but it works. Pausing after the death and quitting to the main menu “may” work (I didn’t try my luck – especially with the length of the game) but I can’t confirm that on my own.

There are some points in the game where it is easier to accept the fail and continue at a checkpoint just make sure you keep track of how many fails you have so you don’t go over 10. Remember each of the “Team” achievement are for completing each chapter without failing more than times. The “Remember the Heroes” achievement is for completing the ENTIRE game without failing more than 10 times.

Defying Gravity (50 points)
Jump 150 times with each monster.
This achievement is not nearly as hard as it may seem. To jump press the Button. You will unlock this achievement through the normal campaign play through because you will be required to jump more than 150 times for each monster.
