  1. Awesome. I did receive word just today that Return to Grace is now showing for all users. As for the secret achievements, the “secret?” toggle wasn’t flipped on for the game. It should now be showing all the achievements.

  8. Another one to pass on I notice that "Return to Grace" isn't showing in Played Games. The unlocked achievements show in the Achievement Log, but the icon for the game is "no img" (Like it does for a 360 game).

  9. Since the last update, I got Brotato finished off, as well as a few other shorter titles. First was When the Past was Around. It was...interesting. A pretty basic point and click that manly revolved around looking for various ciphers to unlock a locked whatever. Good visuals though I wind up wondering why the choice to give the dude an owl head? Is that part of the cancer allegory? Next was Bluey. Considering the games target audience, it's not that bad of a game. Miles away better than Peppa Pig, and now worth trying now that it's on Game Pass, as it's not worth that $40 price tag. It's pretty short too, basically giving the feel of playing through an episode of the show. It does have collectibles, but most are pretty easy to get, so it's not too much of a pain. One thing that the game did well that I feel increases the longevity for kids is how it handled the minigames, as the maps used change based off of where you are in the level, so playing Floor is Lava in the front yard will have completely different obstacles than if played in the living room. All in all, while it's not the type of game I'd have a young kid cut their teeth on (Hard to dethrone Mario there), it's still better than a lot of other options targeting them. Lastly was Murder on the Marine Express. This, I can't call it a game. I can't even call it a Visual Novel except in the most technical sense emphasizing the word "novel". You have no control over anything except changing the background image. No choices, no investigations, just you advancing the story and all you have to do is reach the end to get the 1000G. So, I'm assuming 99% of the people with this on their tag just mashed the fast forward and advance buttons to just reach the end as fast as possible. I was not one of those people. I sat down and read the entire story, including the extra side conversations. It's a pretty standard murder mystery that wouldn't feel out of place as an episode of Case Closed/Detective Conan. I was able to accurately figure out the whodunit about halfway through. Based off of the ending, it seems pretty clear that they intended to make this a series, but nothing else has come out of it, but I feel with how this game went, they'd've better success as a webcomic or the like instead. Currently, I'm working on Stray. Cute, but some of the controls and visuals are a bit janky at times. Just taking my time exploring to find everything, then I'll tackle the speedrun afterwards. I've also been playing a little more Rise of Nations, getting a few more achievements knocked out, but I'm still far away from the absolute ridiculous grind of "build 1 million units of every type" especially when you consider that you typically only build a couple hundred units total at most in a standard game.

  10. Of all the tiers, the one I would most likely go for is Tier 1. I already have Twelve Minutes and A Way Out done, I own Your Toy, TOEM I plan on playing on Game Pass, which leaves Windscape. It just went off sale and stupid me didn't buy it, but if history has any say in it, it will probably go on sale again in a few months.

  11. Long time, no see, everyone! We're back this soon with another announcement because, for the first time, a community member has achieved the requirements for creating their very own Chamber of Fame challenge club. Watty8883 has successfully completed all tiers in five separate challenge/franchise clubs, and as a result, has created his own four-tiered challenge club. Many will likely recognize Watty from his numerous XBA tournament appearances (including multiple wins!), as well as his continued participation in the Max Clubs area. Watty has gone with games that are either unique in their own right, or are notable departures from the series they are in. They can understandably be polarizing because of this, leading to a "love it or hate it" mentality. Therefore, we present Watty8883's "Now For Something Completely Different" Chamber of Fame Challenge Club: TIER 1 A Way Out TOEM Twelve Minutes Windscape Your Toy (X1 or CN) TIER 2 Effie Emily Wants to Play In Sound Mind Lost in Random Transformers: Battlegrounds TIER 3 A Walk in the Dark Embr Ghostwire: Tokyo Monstrum Stray TIER 4 Eastern Exorcist Infinite Guitars Resident Evil Revelations 2 (360 or X1) Streets of Rage 4 Trek to Yomi Please join me in congratulating Watty on this accomplishment. Great work, @Watty8883, and we look forward to your continued involvement! Get out there everyone and earn those sweet awards (especially that delicious Tier 1 award)! - XBA Staff

  12. If anyone is struggling with Skillful Raider, you can shoot the floor and ceiling traps with poison/explosive arrows to set them off. I just unlocked it doing this method (on XSX if that matters). Wasting crypts was annoying the hell out of me so I just tried it on one of the crypts that has the floor trap right at the entrance...it didnt give the "challenge failed" message so I kept going, shooting the traps as I went. When I opened the sarcophagus, it counted towards both the count for raider and skillful raider challenges. I didnt see this mentioned anywhere, but if it was, my apologies.

  20. February 2024 Cyberpunk 2077: (Phantom Liberty Spoilers ahead). Ever since the next-gen version of Cyberpunk was announced, I've wanted to return and give this game a fresh go. For those who know/don't know, I played it on release and it was just an absolute mess. The game itself was amazing but the bug count was too god damn high. Happy to report that I ran into much fewer bugs this time, but they were not missing completely. I still had around 10 crazy bugs, 2 game-breaking ones that required a load, and maybe 4-6 crashes. Better than my PS4 run, but not perfect like it should be. Anyways, reading up on my 2020 journey and review was interesting to say the least. It was cool to see myself complaining about things that were improved in update 2.0, such as respecing and clothing previews. Update 2.0 brought a lot more QoL changes that made the game simplified in some aspects and more fun in others. Not tying armor and weapon mods to clothing was a godsend in cutting down my playtime hunting for drip. It also seems that my outfit gravitated pretty similar to the first game too. Cute outfit, not gonna lie. As for weapons, I kinda did the same thing. Tried out most weapons and gravitated towards pistols and shotguns. However, the vast majority of my build ended up revolving around stealth and throwing knives. Puppys? Stealth? Next you'll tell me pigs can fly! But man was it fun to have a very powerful headshot machine and have it be completely stealth too. Only issue I seemed to have was hitting people in the back of the neck way too often rather than the head. Another great update was money. In 2020, I struggled to keep enough cash around for the car achievement. In this version, I must have made (and spent) 5 million dollars. The vehicle achievement auto-popped for me but I still ended up buying them all in the end. The increase in materials also made upgrading things more possible and in the end, I had upgraded nearly everything in the game that I had to Tier 5++. That would not have even been thinkable in 2020. Phantom Liberty added a black market vendor that allowed me to buy missing iconic weapons, which was a +1 from me. I finally completed that weapon wall, which was extended with even more weapons! How cool it could have been to include every single iconic in the game, but this was a nice selection. The Black Market vendor helped me complete this sexy wall of weapons. Let's move onto the story. One change from my previous playthrough is that I romanced River instead of Judy. And I gotta say, ol' River kinda boring as fuck. Not only did he make the Aldacado ending depressing, he was just not much joy to be around compared to Judy. That is about all I'd bother to share from the story, as I remembered most of it as I went along. Still can't pick a "favorite" ending. None of them are really a 'happy' ending to me which makes the V/Johnny relationship that much more powerful. It is a shame there is no ending where both V and Johnny got to coincide happily ever after. So the majority of my new experience was the Phantom Liberty DLC. Overall I'm satisfied but slightly disappointed. It was nice to meet Mr Hands and some of the missions were interesting. But once again, I felt like the four endings of the DLC just weren't happy endings at all. One of them had you do a Alien Isolation-like mission to rescue Songbird and this mission pissed me off so much. Besides, it was one of two game-breaking bugs I had where the objective wouldn't update so I had to reload save after PAINFULLY prodding around for 20 minutes. That ending sucked so much ass. To go even further, the now 9th(?) ending to the game was added with Phantom Liberty, and it is quite possibly the most depressing ending of them all! I was really feeling bad for V on this one and it pained me to let Johnny go. That final ride where Johnny looked out the window of the plane had me choked up. I don't know, the new area and story really didn't live up to the main game for me. Only plusses that came from it were some new guns and cars I liked. I loved the new silenced pistol from, uh, I don't even remember the chick's name from the DLC. Her Majesty was my go to weapon for the last 30 hours of the game. Plus all the new Quadra vehicles had me doing 10+ vehicle missions for Captain. Another shame that vehicles don't have basic paint job customizations, it was really needed. So it's kinda funny that my original rating was a 6/10 with all those bugs, because this time around I'm going 7/10. The DLC felt overpriced and not on par with the main game. The new area was just too small and vehicle un-friendly. The new collectibles don't show up on the map which meant I had to look at all 12 of them to find the ones I was missing. The new abilities didn't add much for me as half of them were related to the arm cybernetics (which I still refused to use, they make my arms ugly). Another funny near coincidence is this time around I only took 93 hours to beat the game plus DLC, one hour short of my original completion time but with more content to do. Shows just how much time I spent clothing hunting in the original haha. I would still recommend this game quite a bit because of the story and gameplay. But maybe after more bug patches? It is safe to say the CD Projekt Red lost my faith in producing another day one purchase from me, so I'm glad the PS5 upgrade was free. Remnant: From the Ashes: This is an interesting one because I began the game with a friend, completed the entire list on PS4 with a different friend in-between, and then finally completed it with my first friend. I'm not very creative when it comes to playing co-op I guess. Anyways, I wanted to mention here some differences between the PC Game Pass playthrough and PS4. First of all, we crashed a grand total of 0 times, compared to 10+ on PS4. That alone was worth a +1 in rating. Second, we were able to use a save analyzer to cut down tremendously on glowing fragment farming. And lastly, my friend and I got ravaged by survival mode on PC. Whether it was bad RNG, tough bosses, or just flat out skill issue, it took us nearly 8 hours to finally nail a 10 run. I suppose I didn't realize how much could go wrong, as my PS4 friend and I completed this on attempt #3. Our successful run was a crazy run too! We fought the hardest boss at level 1, fought the hardest world boss at level 3, and got revenge on the boss who killed our 8 run the week before at the highest difficulty (#10). All of that RNG packed into one tight run, but it felt so good finally beating it and moving onto Remnant II. Reiterating that I still enjoyed the game a surprising amount, and might even see this make a run for my top 5 surprises in 2024. The successful run, we SPED through a run in half the normal time. Yugioh World Wide Edition - Stairway to the Destined Duel: Quite a mouthful title there. This is a game I played the absolute hell out of back in 2004. It was one of the first Yugioh games out there and the nostalgia is real. Add in the fact that I can hunt achievements through retroachievements and I'm hooked. The original plan was to stream this game for a week or two on Twitch, and get as many achievements as I could. I'm not too crazy about 100% on retroachievements, as I've barely done any games on there. I ended up playing it way more than I thought I would, and nabbed 78/79 achievements. By the end of my personal grind, I was using speedup 100% of the time and completing duels brainlessly. The achievement list requires you to get 50,000 DP, which is the equivalent of 1,000 duel wins. Well I had 75 achievements by the time I reached 25k, which just shows how pointless of a grind it would have been to go get that last achievement. Maybe someday I will, but the last achievement would require about 400 wins and even at full speedup that is 15+ hours of commitment. No thanks. Of note: I believe I gave this game a perfect 10 over twenty years ago, but I wouldn't go that far here. My experience was more of a high 6, and I'd much prefer a Yugioh game with more variety in the cards. Can't deny the nostalgia. Resident Evil 5: Mia bought this for me on Christmas so we could co-op together on Saturdays. It took a hot minute to get used to the absolute shit controls but after that, it was a very enjoyable experience. That mid 2000s shooter charm had me all nostalgic and reminded me of games like Halo, Gears, and COD4. I personally loved all the characters from Chris/Sheva to Wesker and down to the badass African guys. We completed the game on veteran, then did a second playthrough on veteran for all S ranks / collectibles. We chose not to use infinite ammo, but I did get Chris's super shotgun which was hella fun to use. Mia showed off her massive collection of guns, which is also impressive for this game. And lastly, we tackled the two DLCs on veteran. The first one was more of a throwback to the first RE (or so I'm told). It was short and sweet. The second one was much, much harder. It was like a massive ass enemy rush and took us quite some time to beat on veteran. The checkpoints were NOT friendly in that DLC, so it took us several hours to beat. Overall that would be one of my only complaints about the game: mid 2000s checkpoints. We are so spoiled today. My second complaint would be the inventory management. 9 slots is just not enough when there are so many cool guns to check out. I feel like the inventory was made for single player so you could shove shit in Sheva's backpack and play that way, lol. Anyways, it wasn't enough to ding a point for me so I'm giving this a solid 8. I'm hearing bad things about RE6 but we still plan on playing it together in the near future. I am still laughing my ass off at this. Miscellaneous: Remnant II (9 Hours): My friend and I started Remnant II immediately after the first one. Love it so far! Lisa the Painful (6 Hours): Playing this on Saturdays while Mia watches. Interesting, fun game. Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (3 Hours): Only one Zelda stream in Feb. Clone Hero (2 Hours): One Twitch stream. Looking ahead to March: Final Fantasy VII Rebirth: H Y P E. Expect this to be my only big thing in March. I have been avoiding any type of media regarding this so it'll be as blind as it can be. Lisa the Painful: Saturdays with Mia Remnant II: Sundays with Axel

  23. Happy (belated) New Year, everyone! Last year was a pretty big year for us: not only did it see the reopening of our Max Clubs, as well as a huge revamp and tons of new content, but it also saw XBA in general become a top guide publisher once again. I've been posting new Max Clubs content throughout the year last year, but guide writing hasn't really been the topic of conversation, so I wanted to touch on that. The guide feed on the front page does an excellent job of showcasing all of the guides being published and the fantastic writers who keep churning them out. DLC guides were added to this feed last year too, so now everyone can see the DLC guides being published on a real-time basis. Just to throw some numbers out there, here is the count for total guides for each calendar year: 2019: 154 full guides, 83 DLC guides 2020: 142 full guides, 31 DLC guides 2021: 117 full guides, 130 DLC guides 2022: 122 full guides, 77 DLC guides 2023: 175 full guides, 103 DLC guides As you can see, 2023 was our best year for guides in a long time. These numbers translate to a new full guide every other day, and a new DLC guide every three days. This is pretty incredible, so huge thanks to all of the guide writers who volunteer their time to help the community. We continue to see guide numbers increase, with January at 15 full guides and 9 DLC, and February at 15 full guides already as well, so keep up the great work everyone. Special thanks to @jeffyy pop @UntilTammaroYT and @Caramel Cardinal for being consistent writers and continually contributing. Now onto the new Max Clubs content. With another year comes another 'Best Of' club, and we've got the latest entries for you here: The Best of 2023 Challenge Club. There were a ton of really good games in 2023, so it was tough to pick only 25, but we tried to keep a good variety of genres in there for everyone to enjoy and check out. On the flip side, 2023 also had some truly terrible games released. These games were so notoriously bad that we felt they deserved a spot in the Toilet Bowl Club. Since we were making some adjustments to that club, we made some changes to others for games in a genre that were so good they deserved to be there. The change history for each club can be found in its respective forum linked below, but here's a quick summary of the games that merited immediate additions: Toilet Bowl Challenge Club - The Lord of the Rings: Gollum, Rise of Kong: Skull Island, The Walking Dead: Destinies, and Redfall have been swapped into various tiers. Sadly, we won't be able to add The Day Before to this club. RPG!!! Challenge Club - Baldur's Gate III has been swapped in, considering it's being hailed as one of the best games of all time Where's My Map? Challenge Club (Metroidvania games) - Afterimage has been swapped in, being one of the most solid Metroidvanias out there, and certainly the best since Ori, and Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown has also been swapped in, replacing Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Three other minor changes to note: Family Corner Challenge Club - Rush: A Disney Pixar Adventure has been removed due to extremely problematic achievement unlocking, and has been replaced with Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 House of Horrors Challenge Club - The Callisto Protocol has been removed from Tier 2. Not only is it far more challenging than your average Tier 2 game thanks to the ridiculous number of playthroughs required after all the title updates, but its reception has been lukewarm at best, so we decided to replace it with The Quarry. We have also replaced Alan Wake in Tier 3 with Alan Wake II, considering how hugely popular it was ID@Xbox Challenge Club - Beyond Eyes has been replaced with Stray due to the former being delisted The final change comes to my own Staff Club. With a slew of new, great auto-battlers releasing in the wake of Vampire Survivors, I've redone my Staff Club to theme it after this newly-emerged genre: Necrophage33's Auto Aim, Auto Fire, Auto-Battler Club. This should make it more fun and more accessible to everyone. Get out there and mow down the horde! The next order of business is yet another new Subscriber Club. This one comes from long time XBA member BluWolve, who many may recognize from his long tenure on staff. We hope you have some serious dedication and resolve to work your way through this club, which contains only free games, but is going to require you to commit for the long term. Check out the new entries here: BluWolve's Free Five Fo' Fun Club. Lastly, we are very pleased to announce the resurrection of the Enthusiast/Fanatic section of Max Clubs. For those unfamiliar, every year we pick five cool, unique, interesting, and/or funny achievements to work towards, and five of the most brutal (either difficult and/or longest) achievements. Links to each of the new sets of entries can be found here: Enthusiast/Fanatic Achievement Challenges. Note that the following have been added: New entries for 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023 Replacements for previous years where: Existing ones were no longer obtainable (or in a game with unobtainable achievements), or the game itself is delisted The same game was present in both Enthusiast and Fanatic in the same year (which we felt wasn't fair and reduced variation) The same franchise was across multiple years with the same type of achievement (for example, Seriously in Gears 4 and Seriously in Gears 5) That's it for this announcement. Thanks to everyone staying involved in the community, to those keeping the guides coming, and to those continuing to participate in Max Clubs. As always, let us know if you have any ideas or suggestions to add or improve things. - XBA Staff

Because the issue started to happen to few days ago (still happening) now, when completing the daily set in the morning didn't work, but it worked as normal when i tried it again in the afternoon/night. Also the issue happened to me couple of years ago and lost my streak, so i was prepared this time around lol.

If you're missing specific ones, I suggest posting in the Steam forum for the game. The developer posts there helping people who are looking for a specific relic.

  34. Still slogging away at Puzzle Quest 3. Have put in some decent grinding on mobile but with the auto play feature it is pretty simple to get to a point where it can run and progress with minimal input from me. I am on the final strech now with just one achievement left to unlock, though it is a doozy. The last achievement is for upgrading a gear item to 50 and is gonna take some time, as it requires a resource that is hard to come by. I am at least set up to a point where i can essentially just add it to my "daily log in" games and within a few months i will have it finished without much more effort.

To be a member of TIER 1 of the Necrophage33's "Single Player Isn't Dead" Solo Trilogy Challenge Club, you must have all the achievements (including all DLCs and 0G) in the following games: Archvale Call of the Sea (X1 or Windows) Goat Simulator 3 Ittle Dew 2 Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy This Club was created in 2019. Some of the games were obviously replaced around 2022/23 but for some reason Ittle Dew 2 is included and this was delisted in the same year the club was created. Apparently single player IS dead.

Most of them came out for the Xbox 360 but many have since become backwards compatible on the Xbox One. - Kingdoms Of Amalur: Reckoning (May 15 - 2023) - Shadows of the Damned (March 28 - 2023) - Syndicate (June 15 - 2023) - Warp (May 15 - 2023) - Crysis 3 (September 7 - 2023) This is the original and the remastered did not have MP included. - Dante's Inferno (December 8 - 2023) - Dead Space 2 (December 8 - 2023) All of these games aside from Warp are backwards compatible I think. 47. Welcome to the Regional and Platform Game Variations (Stackable Games) section. This is an updated version of the 'Stackable Games for Gamerscore' thread that's been inspired by the 'Quick and Easy Gamerscore' forum. Special thanks goes out to those who came before me for their work on the previous threads, and to the community for their great information that they have contributed. Games that appear in this thread are released on the following various Xbox platforms in multiple regions: Xbox One Xbox 360 Windows Windows Phone Arcade Games For Windows Live Some Xbox enabled games have also been released on the following non-Xbox platforms: iOS Android Samsung Gear VR Kindle Fire Apple TV Q&A and other information: What is a stackable game? A stackable game is a variation of a game released in another region and/or on another platform that shares the same achievement list, though 1 or more achievements may differ. Why is Metro Redux excluded from the list? Metro Redux is the physical disc bundle of both, Metro 2033 Redux and Metro: Last Light Redux. Even though the game contains both Metro 2033 Redux and Metro: Last Light Redux, it technically doesn't count as a stack because there is only one version of Metro Redux. What does Cross-Platform Achievement Functionality mean? Cross-Platform Achievement Functionality is the best way to describe when a game shares it's savefile with another platform either through cloud storage or Xbox Live and has the ability to unlock achievements via synchronization on another platform. The cloud storage is mainly through Facebook's cloud storage for Windows games. Upon synchronization, achievements will either automatically unlock or will require a minimum amount of effort to unlock. How come certain games are not available in my area? Some countries such as Germany and Australia will not sell certain games due to censorship. There has been a few cases where some graphical violent achievements have been removed from certain games. Sometimes a game will have a change of publisher. Some games are region specific and are released in certain regions only. So because of that you will have to import some of the games in this thread from another country and you will need to have the appropriate console to play it on. There are 2 different types of Xbox One consoles: Region Free NTSC-C (China) All regional stackable Xbox One games are Region Free unless otherwise noted There are 3 different types of Xbox 360 consoles: NTSC (North America) PAL (Europe/Australasia) NTSC-J (Asia) What is a Backward Compatible game? A Backward Compatible game is a select Xbox 360 game that will play on Xbox One. All Backward Compatible games that have a regional stack are also all Backward Compatible too, just like their standard version counterpart. However that MAY not apply to Digital Only Backward Compatible games. Key: Arcade - Xbox Live Arcade (XBLA) Cross-Platform - Cross-Platform Achievement Functionality DLC - Downloadable Content GOTY - Game Of The Year GFWL - Games For Windows Live Green - Game not yet Xbox Live enabled Red - Game or DLC not yet released UWP - Universal Windows Platform Win 8 - Windows 8 Win 10 - Windows 10 WP7 - Windows Phone 7 WP8 - Windows Phone 8 WP - Windows Phone (Both Windows Phone 7 & 8) When suggesting games, please place it in one of the following 6 categories: Multiple Platform Xbox (Xbox One & Xbox 360) Xbox One Xbox 360 Arcade Windows (Win 8, Win 10 & Windows Phone) Please fill in as much information as possible. If you don't know, post that you are unsure. Maybe someone else will see it and know. The more information the better.
