  1. From the neverwinter forums: http://nw-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?877861-Are-you-serious-with-the-Kill-1000-Dragons-achievement Assuming that's you? That thread has the kind of replies I was expecting. You'll see that in every MMO thread EVER where someone expresses displeasure over the length of a grind.
  2. My choices were the same as yours, except I DID try to shoot frank. After seeing both, I felt it the better choice to let Frank be pissed... but WE HAVE THE GUN. I feel like "You Saved Kate" is an unofficial achievement. Glad it wasn't an actual one as that would be a massive story spoiler, but man I was happy I was able to pull that off. So many ways that conversation can go wrong and pretty much no room for error.
  3. Just completed episode 2... and I REALLY want to get the rest of my gamer friend playing this to discuss the plot and choices. That 4th story event is split nearly 50/50 worldwide! (The scene with the rain. No spoiler there) HOW IS THE STORY GOING TO BRANCH OFF THAT!?!?!?!
  4. That's the only one I can see benefitting from a video. The others are all so straightforward and easy, that I'd be embarrassed for anyone who says they need a video. Is reading that hard????
  5. You can save and quit at the end of a floor, to continue later. The game has an endless mode too for an extra challenge.
  6. It has an old-school vibe to it, and I really like the randomness. It makes each run feel fresh. The RPG elements are kind of cool. I hope there's a fair amount of account-level progression between games. I haven't played enough to really understand how that works yet.
  7. Floyd! Good start on this one... while I drag my feet on tidying up Hand of Fate. Really need to show that guide some love this weekend. Anyway... For An Army of One, A Lonely Battle, and/or A Select Few, I would recommend specifying as well that you have to choose "Refuse" for SP Support. I tried to cheese these with SP support and they won't unlock that way. Edit: Replaying missions also awards progress for "Mission Master," so people can cheese that one early on by replaying mission 1 if they really wanted to.
  8. Kinda why I have walked away from this guide for about a week. Love this game to death, don't want to get myself in a position where it stops being fun. I have still only cleared the story though Queen of Scales. These dungeons are pretty legit now. I appreciate the card suggestions. I'll give them a closer review on my next editing pass.

  10. I've put up short tips for 11 of the achievements. I can elaborate, if you'd like, or write out complete achievement descriptions including multiple methods. If you don't need that, feel free to use my wording and/or my suggestions at your liberty.

  11. I've been posting helpful cards and tips. Let me know if you ever need/want help with the editing, it's kinda my forte.

  12. I'll help how I can :) Looking forward to assisting you put out a polished piece of work! Let me know how those final bosses go ;)

  13. Didn't see your message until after checking my achievement guide and seeing your posts. Hope you're enjoying the game! It gets really, really challenging, but it's still a lot of fun. Only 2-3 bosses from done with the game, but taking a mini-break so I don't get burned out, and will still have the drive needed to push through and finish the guide to the level of ambition I have for it.

  14. Examples of encounter cards that are really good for specific achievements would help. I didn't think to take notes on that, then realized deep into the guide that it's annoying to look back at my unlocked cards and remember which once are most helpful for what achievement. I don't want to include EVERY encounter that can help for an achievement, due to many having random permutations, and so there is some room for individual discovery on the road to 1000gs (and because it can be subjective on what cards are good or not). That said, I would like to have a Top 3-5 encounter cards listed for many of the achievements. Any Tips for King of Plague and The Dealer. I have Queen of Scales video done. King of Plague dungeon is making me rage so I'm taking a mini-break from this game for a couple days.
