  1. You'll need to kill someone with a heavy weapon too. I had the same problem. It doesn't seem to be listed on the challenge menu. But yeah, that'll be what you're missing, I expect. Just go and buy a heavy weapon from a general store. An axe or something.
  2. Well, I've done everything, except getting the completionist, perfectionist and original gamer achievements and it's taken about 40 hours. I don't think I'm even going to attempt those three. Some of the optional objectives are a complete nightmare. One of the privateer missions springs to mind. Or maybe it's a naval mission. So yes, I'd say 45-50 hours is about right. If I tried to get full synchronisation on all missions, I reckon I'd break the 50 hour mark, to be honest!! Haven't got the patience, I'm afraid!
  3. Yes it is. You can only find it under the extras menu on the multiplayer disc though. You won't find it on disc one.
  4. Yes they can. Doing all the privateer missions reduces that chance though. It hardly ever happens once you've done all those, which I'm assuming you have.
  5. The best way to make money is to send out a fully loaded naval convoy of bear/beaver pelts. You can make about £10,000-£12,000 with that. If you send all three naval convoys you can get about £30,000 in about half an hour. Although, seeing as you've already pretty much achieved everything else in the game, you're not going to have much to occupy yourself with while you wait for the money to accrue!
  6. Yeah, you have to put disc two in. It won't be on the single player disc. Also you can't do it form the Market place either. The only place you can do it is from the extras menu of the multiplayer disc. I hope you haven't paid an extra 800 points for it unnecessarily!
  7. Ah, so you hadn't even GOT to New York yet! Haha, that would explain it! This game is so slow to get going! TOO slow! When you get to New York is when the story properly kicks of really! I won't spoil anything, but even when you DO get to New York, you can't explore it properly straight away!!
  8. Just go to a harbour master in boston or the frontier or even from the Aquila at the homestead and you should be able to fast travel to New York.
  9. The best things to load up your convoys with are bear and beaver pelts. Once you've done enough homestead missions for the huntress, you'll be able to buy them from her stockpile and then sell them on via convoy. Also, craft the convoy capacity upgrades as soon as you can and then, once they become available, the naval convoys. They can hold ten items. A fully loaded naval convoy of bear pelts can get you £10,000 plus!
  10. Yeah, there are four consoles to hack. 1 for each of the districts in Arkham city. These also count towards the riddlers challenges, so not only do they reveal the cameras locations, but they count towards 100% completion too.
  11. Yeah, you don't need to do the gadget moves. I think you do need the bat claw slam though. I did it just to make sure I got the achievement.
  12. I feel your pain!! I got passed the 3 dreaded planks in inferno 3 for the 1st time and then pressed the back button by mistake!! Haven't got passed them since. It's the only track I can't pass. Equally rage inducing is when you press the back button instead of the button and you get put back to the start instead of the last checkpoint! Aaaahh!
  13. Yeah, I'd love to have a go at making my own tracks too. I had a quick tinker with the editor yesterday, but I just can't seem to get my head around it! I'm fine with the creative side, but it's the actual construction/physics side of it I struggle with. I haven't a clue what I'm doing really, even in the lite editor! I hope I'll get the hang of it eventually. I need to sit down and have a proper fiddle with it! The track editor, I mean!!!!! God, that sounded wrong!!!!!
  14. Thanks for the tips. I Think I may have been releasing between strikes as opposed to during the strikes. I'll give it another go and see if I can get the hang of it. Hopefully I will. If not, I'll just have to stick to evading them!
  15. I don't know if this has already been covered, but I tried searching for it and couldn't find it, so I thought I'd ask about it. I cannot for the life of me get the hang of knife dodge takedowns. I consider myself pretty good at the combat in this game and I have all medals in the combat challenges, but now I'm doing the campaigns and the fact that I can't master this bloody knife takedown is starting to annoy me. I can do the knife dodge perfectly well by holding away and Y, but I can't work out how to do the takedown. I know you're supposed to hold and release or something, but I've only ever done it by fluke 4 or 5 times. I'm aware that you can dodge and evade them instead, which is what I've been doing, but a knife takedown scores you 100 points, so I'd like to master it. Thanks for any help.
