  1. The European release is multi-region and works on Euro and North American consoles (but not Asian). To get the DLC, you first need to make a European region account, which you can do on your NA console. I don't remember the exact process off the top of my head, but it's as simple as saying you're from the UK at some point. Next, you need Euro compatible points, which you can get from an online shop. I use http://electronicfirst.com/ myself.
  2. I did mine with the Japanese voices, changing the audio settings is fine.
  3. It would not work, as they're considered to be separate titles: separate achievements, separate leaderboards etc. Furthermore, the western versions of the game already have all the DLC content bundled in, so you aren't missing out on anything.
  4. The game is being published in the west by Rising Star Games. I don't know if a release date has been officially announced yet, but Amazon UK is listing it for October 26th. http://www.gamasutra.com/view/pressreleases/175745/Rising_Star_Games_Announces_Autumn_Assortment.php [ame=http://www.amazon.co.uk/Under-Defeat-Deluxe-Xbox-360/dp/B0096I42CY]Under Defeat HD Deluxe Edition (Xbox 360): Amazon.co.uk: PC & Video Games[/ame]
  5. You can switch the game to the novice mode in the main menu screen. That is the only difficulty option.
  6. Just keep tapping the button as quickly as possible.
  7. This "level" refers to the difficulty level, which can be chosen in the stage select screen, individually for each stage. Take a gander at the bottom of the screen: http://i2.cdnds.net/11/07/550w_gamingreview_deathsmiles_2_1.jpg It's the one that says "Rank Select".
  8. Cave created a special limited edition version of Mushihimesama in 2011, called Mushihimesama 1.5. It features different enemy placements, and a new type of play, in which you start with MAX power from the first level. 1.5 is offered as free DLC in the first print run of the game. Once you redeem the DLC, it's available as a new mode in the game menus. It sounds to be the star of the package for those who have played the game a lot on PS2 or arcade. The whole game is new to me, and I haven't had time to get familiar with 1.5 yet, I've just played the 360 and arrange modes.
  9. Replays are saved on the leaderboards only for the top 10,000 scores per track. They also need to be gold or platinum medal performances.
  10. The European release will work on North American consoles. It's region locked to Europe and NA.
  11. I did the Rockies, but it wasn't easy. I waited until I had a level 10 Zoe, got good Lv10 boards, and shamelessly used speed & boost mods for races, and trick & trick multiplier mods for trick events - those really helped. In trick events, you can increase your multiplier on flat ground, so you'll get 20x much faster. Still, you'll have to full-combo no-rewind everything, at least on my skill level. Also, use pulse goggles with the cave levels! You can see every bump you can jump off of. The races are hard even with these, you'll want routes, on which you can boost with tricky infinite-boost as much as possible, and re-get tricky off a ledge right as it finishes, remembering not to jump the ledge, just boost off it. Sometimes you can't, and boost-tailpress is needed to keep boosting.

  13. Arrange A, stage 4 100k combo. First hyper with 5 stored hypers at the big flying enemy, another at the descending bit popcorn enemies, then as needed. Should be a little easier, if you're going the hidden-midbosses route. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kyjHMM_nOqE]Dodonpachi Daifukkatsu (Resurrection) Arrange A Stage 4 100000 Hit Combo - YouTube[/ame] I created a new thread for the hidden loop run.
  14. So, I wanted to get the Arrange A Hibachi achievement, and here's the way I reached the hidden loop, in glorious shot-off-the-screen definition. I didn't try to play for score at all starting from stage 2 boss. Stage 4 was a bit of a mess, but stage 5 went pretty much exactly as practiced, except for the very end, and the boss, where I almost blew it. Notable bits for others attempting to reach Hibachi might be the ways to take out the bosses of stages 3, 4 and 5 efficiently, and the stage 5 laser wheels. Just don't mess up stage 5 boss like I did. Form 1, overstayed my welcome, should've gone down earlier... form 2, should not have hypered after going down. Some strategies borrowed from replays by LSTZE and SEA, some I concocted up by myself. If you have questions on strategy or timing, ask away. 15. Yes, the exact same conditions. I did a missed-bee run and at least three three-bomb runs before I succeeded...
