Its not quite so simple, as you put it. If it was an easy fix such as flipping a switch to award achievements, theyd have done so already. As BluWolve mentioned, chievos will be unlocking later this week. Sucks, but that's just how it is. True, Rare had a beta for SoT, but only a couple hundred thousand played then. When Day One rolls around and over a million people log in, their servers were slammed. I'm not making excuses for them(I want achievements and a non-glitchfest matches too), just explaining this isnt an easy thing to solve overnight. They've laid the groundwork as stated above, to do a maintenance patch for achievements. The devs or "children" as you suggested, already slugged away and dropped the server side patch. I take it you've never worked on games before or any kind of server work? Its tough man. Delaying achievements has helped temporarily, on the server side of operation. Give it a couple more days and the latest patch will drop to fix the majority of things

Agreed. There are a few gems in there like BG&E and AC Liberation at 75% off, but other than that..............meh

I still remember the first time you posted back in like 2012, about missing previous deals for Portal Still Alive. If I recall correctly, that game went on sale like half a dozen times inside 2 years. Course this was back in 2010/2011. Kinda reminds me of the Mass Effect 2 dlc. That dlc went on sale every month it seemed during that same time period. Like Bioshock/Rockstar/Call of Duty sales nowadays. Perhaps there will be a Portal sale soon as Mass Effect 2 dlc is this week's DotW after a two year hiatus??

Glad the ME stuff is on sale for others who haven't picked those up. Pretty much all that dlc is great. Lair of the Shadow Broker is a perfect example of how dlc should be done. Would like to get The Orange Box but I want that as a physical game in my collection rather than a digital one. Picky picky picky.......

Picking up Monkey Island 2 and still on the fence about Valiant Hearts. It's a Ubisoft game so it'll go on sale again, perhaps at a lower price. The backlog is so big and I think it'd just sit there unplayed and it'll drop to a lower price. Plus, Costume Quest 2 is coming out next month and I'm strongly considering buying that game Day One at full price. LOVED the original
