Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition / DLC: Title Update (W10)

Please post any updates within the Updates or Corrections: Guides & Roadmaps thread. Also, please check the Award Tracking: Guides and Roadmaps forum to make sure we are up to date.

  2. The selfish part of me says if you could do cod vanguard that'd be useful for when I get round to playing it 🤣 Think mines updated aswell, there's other guides I could possibly do but think it may be over ambitious for me to out several down lol
  3. DLC: The African Royals Difficulty: 1/10 Time to 150: <1 hour Unobtainable: None The African Royals DLC Abbreviated Walkthrough Welcome to the African Royals, the first DLC for Age of Empires III: Definitive Edition, it introduces two new civilizations with some different mechanics however they are still very similar to the other civilizations in the game. All the achievements can be earned very quickly and in fact can be done in as few as four skirmish games. They’re all miscellaneous achievements however if you start a Skirmish game, in the Exploration Age, Ultra resources with either of the new civilizations you should be to quickly obtain them all, especially if the cheats are used. Well Studied 10 Built a University near a Town Center, Palace, and Trading Post. The University is unique to the Hausa. Start a skirmish game as the Hausa, infinite resources, any map with trading posts (Texas is probably best). Once it starts, construct a Palace and Trading post, then build Universities near to each and the achievement will unlock. NB: One University can cover multiple buildings so could be done with just one if the other buildings are close to each other. Holy Mountains 20 Earned 10,000 Coin from Mountain Monasteries on Mines. Playing as either the Hausa or the Ethiopians, start a skirmish game, ultra resources, any map (I like Texas), one easy AI. Once it starts, use the “x marks the spot” cheat to reveal the map then use “speed always wins”. From there, take your Villagers and build a Mountain Monastery on top of all the Mine and the achievement should unlock in no time. Raiding Party 5 Deployed '8 Lifidi Knights’ from your shipments as the Hausa. First, go to the deck builder and add the '8 Lifidi Knights’ card from the Industrial Age to a deck called The Beginner One, then start a skirmish game as the Hausa, Industrial Age Start. Once it begins, use the cheat “Nova & Orion”, then select your shipments, choose the deck you updated and the card for the '8 Lifidi Knights’. Big Bombardment 5 Deployed '2 Sebastopol Mortars' from your shipments as the Ethiopians. Start a skirmish game as the Ethiopians, Industrial Age Start. Once it begins, use the cheat “Nova & Orion”, then select your shipments, choose The Beginner Deck and the card for the two Sebastopol Mortars. Safari 15 Collected 10 Treasures on African maps. Start a skirmish game on the African Maps against one easy AI, then any other setting (I chose post imperial Age Start). Once it begins, use the cheat “x marks the spot” and take your explorer round collecting all the treasures. It is cumulative across multiple games but normally there’s enough to do it in one go. Influencer 20 Spent 10,000 Influence playing as the Hausa or the Ethiopians. Influence is a new resource for the Hausa and Ethiopians and is used for several items. Start a skirmish game as either the Hausa or the Ethiopians, Ultra resources, Exploration age start, once it begins, use the “speed always wins” cheat to rapidly level up through the ages, build a couple of building and research everything at them and the achievement should unlock. Cash Cow 15 Gained 500 Coin from a single sale at the Livestock Market. Playing as either the Hausa or the Ethiopians, start a skirmish game, ultra-resources, any map, one easy AI. Once it starts, use the “speed always wins” cheat. From there, take your villagers and build livestock market; build some cows and surround the market with 10 of them. Once the amount to sell them reaches 500 gold, sell and the achievement will unlock. Hausa Victory 5 Won a game as the Hausa. Start a multiplayer or skirmish game as the Hausa. Once it starts, use the “tuck tuck tuck" cheat and drive the truck to the enemy base to wipe them out and this will unlock. Ethiopian Victory 5 Won a game as the Ethiopians. Start a multiplayer or skirmish game as the Ethiopians. Once it starts, use the “tuck tuck tuck" cheat and drive the truck to the enemy base to wipe them out and this will unlock. Ruler of the Seven Kingdoms 25 Picked each Hausa Alliance once. Hausa Age up by choosing Alliances, there are 8 in total so this will take a minimum of two games. Start a skirmish game in the Exploration Age, any map, infinite resources. Once it starts, enter the cheat 'speed always wins' then age up four times, picking four different allies. NB: The Allies always remain in the same order but only five can be shown at once so in the first game, you pick the first one in the list every time you age up, and the second game, pick the last one in the list and this should mean you don’t miss any. The allies required are · Berbers · Hausa · Moroccans · Songhai · Akan · Fulani · Yoruba · British King of Kings 25 Picked each Ethiopian Allegiance once. Ethiopians Age up by choosing Alliances, there are 8 in total so this will take a minimum of 2 games. The allies required are · Somalis · Habseha · Jesuits · Portuguese · Sudanese · Indians · Oromo · Arabs
  4. nope, does include the day 1 title update tbf lol, definitely not a game to use for tournaments though 😂
  5. Lol Well good news is after 2 years my Age of Empires II guide is finally complete and submitted, just a shame they've released 2 more expansions in that time so my work still isn't done 😭😭
  6. I See @Webbgetting involved with submitting horizon 5 guide, nice it's up so quick and be good if could get more from him what with his early access previews, think he needs to learn how to link achievements etc though in the guide lol
  7. So am I right in thinking that at some point progress bars are bing added to the achievements that support it. There's been a site out there that isn't popular but always had the best idea for tracking progress of achievements as it allows tracking of parts Appologies if link isn't allowed but only way I can share what I mean properly https://xbltracker.com/ I used it for gears of war 4, there are a couple of achievements on there such as 50 kills with each weapon but no way to tell which weapons you'd done etc in game
  8. I'm having same issue so glad not just me. I also noticed all my xbox 360 games on the list were showing as 0G yesterday weirdly, corrected itself today though
  9. Can't belive been so long since anyone updated here lol Anyway so I'm currently looking at https://www.game.co.uk/en/m/halo-infinite-steelbook-edition-2867399# Not sure I can justify a game I'd much rather have digitally and will just use game pass for lol
  10. Congratulations!

  11. Surly if you write the article could just get Webb to post it, you wouldn't even need access to post yourself lol
  12. And I've submitted a guide, granted its been 90% wrote for a couple of months now but finally got it over the line. Think we could do with a main page Story on this comp now people logging in to check auto tracking, may get some more interest
