  1. Multiplayer-only games are games that I would happily play with Game Pass, but not something I would spend money on.
  2. I... don't get it. It looks okay, but nothing ground-breaking or jaw-dropping. If you told me this was a trailer for Dark Souls III from 2016, I would believe you. Graphics seem a little dated for a 2022 release, and I was expecting a style more distinct, such as what From Software did with Bloodborne and Sekiro. I also think it's weird how many people were surprised by the trailer. Wasn't it only announced like two years ago? Seems a pretty usual development cycle for me. Its not like Skull & Bones or Beyond Good and Evil which were announced years ago and disappeared, yet are still being worked on. Yet with the way people are reacting you'd think this was Final Fantasy VII Remake all over again. I hope I'm wrong. I hope the game is amazing. I'm not trying to be contrary at all, I just don't get the hype. It's another Dark Souls, nothing more, nothing less. Prove me wrong, From Software.
  3. Seconded. Did Dirty ever complete it? 😋 Copied from my post in the Elden Ring thread: I... don't get it. It looks okay, but nothing ground-breaking or jaw-dropping. 4. Me: "Whoa, the new Battlefield trailer looks neat!" Also Me: "No campaign?"
  5. My boss took the next 5 days off work to play the ME Legendary Edition. Meaning I'm left with double the work and zero the ME fun...
  6. ...damn it. I was making it much more difficult for myself.
  7. I remember not liking the ending very much. Like, at some point you find dozens of eggs in the ship, which doesn't make any sense because there isn't a queen. And you'd float through space to enter a shuttle, and there's an alien inside, and the game doesn't explain how it got there. I loved the game, but I felt like it assumed I was an idiot and wouldn't notice plot holes. Perhaps I'm misremembering it. It has been like 7 years (!!!) since I completed it. I'd like to buy it again on 360 for the stack but the Xbox Store still has it at $50, which I think is a bit much. I'll have to keep an eye out for a physical copy.
  8. How the heck do I post a youtube video in the forums anymore? I feel like an old man.
  9. Alien: Isolation is such a great game. It reviewed well, it sold well, and yet we still don't have a sequel. Instead we're getting Aliens: Fireteam, another third-person co-op shooter. Sure, it looks cool, and I'll probably play it. But when you put a gun in my hands and I kill a few dozen monsters, I'm not gonna be scared of them anymore.
  10. 29 as well, and I have a couple. My fiance calls it my "sparkles". Ugh. Don't have any in my beard yet though. Can't wait to rock a full grey beard in my later years. Edit: Happy late B-Day Puppies!
  11. Remember in the early 360 days when some games didn't even have 1000? Like, Condemned: Criminal Origins only had 970. How do you select and code achievements and not add them up to a nice, even number? (Yes, 970 is an even number, don't @ me). The OCD Gamer in me sighs in exasperation.
  12. That guy has successfully monetized being a douchey man-child. Man, I did that for free for years back in highschool! I'm such an idiot.
  13. I live in the country, so I usally just go out into the field and scream at the sky.
  14. Can't argue with you there. Its nice to play 360 games and have achievements pop instantly, instead of waiting 10 seconds for it to bounce back from a server somewhere. Or worse yet, never pop up on screen and you have to check your achievement list to see if you actually got it.
  15. Hey Puppys, as an aspiring blogger hoping to have a blog as cool as yours... How do you create your table of contents? I like that you link to each one of your blog entry posts in your OP but I can't figure out how to do it. I think I knew how pre-update but it's different now. That, or I forgot.
