How long was your playthrough and on what difficulty? Anything special you notice about the trophies?

I had that awkward moment where someone asked me what games Im excited for in the next couple of months and I said "El Shaddai". I might as well have said that I was selling my xbox given the look on their face. Even people who have heard of it said it looks like a "lame hack and slash" and "an acid trip". Basically, no one seems excited for this.
