  1. Go Heels!!!! Game was awesome last night. Except, now they need to lose next round. I am a Tarheels fan but lets get real, they are not going to do anything much in the long run. My bracket has them losing next game so I will cheer for my bracket since it has a better chance to win something than the Heels. I was 16-0 in my brackets yesterday morning and was ecstatic. However, it got ruined now thanks to the Tennessee game and a few other games I think.
  2. Yeah, I saw that. This is a terrible offseason for us honestly. Not sure how good we will be offensively next year. Our defensive front seven should still be top of the line though. Cam should be fine, I am mainly just worried about the free agency pick up and its lack of. We need 5 receivers, at least one offensive tackle, but preferably two. We need to help our cornerback situation out which was bad last year (Thank God Munnerlyn is gone). And Roman Harper was a downgrade from Mike Mitchell who got a huge contract with the Steelers. We just simply cannot get all of this in the draft, we need to start signing some people. I am really bummed out we didn't get James Jones after he had been tweeting that he would take a paycut to play with "his boys" at Carolina. Not sure what Gettleman is doing, but he likes to make good teams out of a bunch of "nobodies" for lack of a better word. Under the two superbowl rings he has, a lot of his players were a bunch of cheap "nobodies", if my memory serves me right. Same with the Panthers last season. I am not sure what he is doing right now, it looks terrible, but I hope he can work his magic. I just hope we are a good team next year because our division along with NFC west, and AFC West (except Raiders) will be the toughest divisions in the NFL, I believe. I hope we can out-win a 12-4 season or at least match it this year. But its looking pretty bad after this offseason. R.I.P (Panthers receivers)
  3. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cNjtepBuOlM]Gavin gets emotional about Steve Smith - YouTube[/ame] Steve Smith has arranged to meet up with this little boy and his dad. Don't feel bad Gavin, I felt like doing the same thing. LOL I can't even imagine how Luke Kuechly feels. This kid says he hates him.
  4. True that. We have like no receivers anymore. Greg Olson is the only weapon we have. I didn't care much for getting Hakeem Nicks like we were rumored to get, so I am glad we didn't pick him up. I am guessing we will select a receiver in the first round of the draft and then I'd like to pick up James Jones and possibly Jerricho Cotchery.
  5. Thanks for the update. :)

  6. Yeah, I saw he said that. Good for him. I hope he puts up 200 years and 5 touchdowns against us. The way the Panthers handled this situation is just disrespectful and embarrassing. I think we made a huge mistake, and Steve Smith will always be a special name to Panther fans and the organization. On a more recent note, not exactly sure what Gettleman (Panthers GM) in thinking. Ted Ginn is now a Cardinal, we literally have no receivers on the team that caught a pass last season. I thought we would pick up Hakeem Nicks, but he is now a Colt. We are in dire need of some receivers, I have no idea what the plan is. He seems to be in no rush to do anything.
  7. Damn, that is insane. It has taken me years to get to 80,000. Grats to Stallion. Next up, Smrnov.
  8. ^Panthers are same way. We have done literally nothing except cut Steve Smith. We have no starting recivers on the team at all. LaFell and Ginn and both free agents and have been to every team to discuss a deal except the Panthers. Not sure what Gettleman is doing, but I don't want to lose Ted Ginn too. _________________ Steve Smith officially cut today. There is literally protesting outside of Bank of America stadium. My 'Ice Up Son' T-shirt is now outdated....and I am pissed. I don't care what team Smith plays for, he will always be remembered as a Panther and is by far the greatest player to ever play for the franchise, and is one of my favorite football players ever. Would have loved for him to retire as a Panther, and I hope he still does that. He could sign a 1 day contract before retirement like John Kasay did. We better hang his stats and number up in the stadium, and Gettleman better do something to attempt to replace him quick. He calls the player who has given everything he has to us for 11 years a "distraction". The player who has lead this team on offense for years, the deciding factor in numerous games, the face of the Panthers, and one of the best receiver to ever play the game who will most likely be considered for the hall of fame, is a "distraction". Talk about fucking disrespectful. I don't care if it is a business or not, the Panthers have always respected loyalty. Honestly, I hope Steve goes to the Ravens where he is rumored to be going. We will play him again and I hope he tears us to shreds. /rant. If you haven't noticed, I am pretty upset along with the rest of Charlotte.
  9. God....I hate the offseason. I get all worked up LOL. This is nerve racking for me. I get too attached to players...like Mike Mitchell who is now a Steeler.
  10. Steve Smith is about as big of a Panthers fan as it comes. I am about 99% sure that if he had a say in where he plays football next year, it would be with the Panthers. Panthers just lost Mike Mitchell to the Steelers, unfortunate, he was a great pickup for last year and a great diamond in the rough. Sad to see him go. The problem with him going to other teams, is that there at least 1 player on every team that Steve Smith will punch in the mouth if a single thing is said to him. Smith has a short fuse and has made a lot of enemies. Could you imagine if the Panthers signed Talib and kept Smith? They might kill each other.
  11. ^ The Panthers have to pay him 3 million no matter what happens is my understanding. He is currently going to get 7 million, which I get it, it is slightly too much. The solution is to have him take a small paycut, and move him down to the #2 receiver, and draft another receiver. He still put up 700+ yrds this year and brings the fire into the team. We wouldn't have won that Pats game without Steve Smith bringing the fire and emotion out of the team. He is the face of the Panthers and the only leader we have on offense. I highly doubt he would be unwilling to restructure his contract. And I will be shocked if he willingly plays for another team. I just can't fathom the thought of losing Smith. The pros outweigh to cons greatly. I can't imagine many teams are willing to give us anything higher than perhaps a 3rd round draft pick for him, at most. Ted Ginn jr and Brandon Lafell are currently both free agents and LaFell will more than likely not return. We cut Smitty as well, and who do we have left? To me, the most sense would be to cut LaFell, resign Ginn, and restructure Smith's contract and move him out of the #1 receiver role. Then draft a receiver either 1st or second round, or perhaps get a free agent WR if Gettleman has enough faith in him.
  12. Nice pick up Carmona. Niners just picked up Blaine Gabbert for a 6th round draft pick. That is actually a solid deal, a nice backup to have and the Niners can probably work their magic and get him at least halfway as good as he was supposed to be when he was drafted.
  13. If Steve Smith ends up not in Black and Blue next year I will be extremely upset. Cutting/attempting to trade Smith is terrible for the team, the fans, and for business. It is disrespectful and we have always been a team to take care of our players that are team leaders like Smith.
  14. Damn, I love Oshie. I guess I just feel bad for you. Still no Stanley Cup? Maybe thats why the Canes are doing so bad. We just feel so bad for teams like the Blues who have yet to win one. So we'll give you this one. hehe:p Kidding, Im not that big of an ass hole..usually.
  15. Heh, I actually have been. Partly because you're a Blues fans, but mainly because of Oshie. I will cheer for Minnesota and St. Louis come playoff time. Mainly Minnesota until they lose, and then i'll cheer for the Blues come Stanley Cup time. I have no doubt the Blues will take home the cup this year to be honest. I can't even watch the Canes games too often anymore. This happened at around this time last season as well. After watching them all season, it just becomes unwatchable and aggravating at this point.
  16. God.... the Hurricanes suck. No way we will make the playoffs now. We have lost 8 out of the last 10. What the hell is going on...? I try and try to get into hockey, and I like it...but with a team like this my hopes just get torn to shreds. Love ya Canes...but holy shit you guys suck.
  17. Skydrift could be added to this list. Takes about 5-7 hours to complete. Difficulty about 2/10. It's a 200:gsicon: arcade game. I think it would need a (B) though because you will need to boost 5 achievements online.
  18. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1936/UPjfanA=.jpg Combat Ready 10:gsicon: Unlock Stage 2. All you need to do, is start up the campaign, and finish enough races in stage one to unlock stage two. You should not have to even come in a trophy winning spot, however it is not hard to do so. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1936/+XR1lw==.jpg Air Race Champ 20:gsicon: Complete the campaign. There are three different types of races throughout the campaign, Speed races: You will want to get a plane that has the easiest maneuverability, speed is not neccesarily essential in this type of race. Your plane will be flying through rings which will give yourself boosts to give you your speed. There are no power-ups or weapons. Survivor races: The player in last place when the time is up, loses. There are power-ups and weapons so use them to your advantage. Use whichever plane best suits your play style. Personally I liked to use the Panther III for these races, it has decent speed and mainly stands out with good boost power and maneuverability. Power races: These are just the standard races ever arcade racer has. You will go through getting power-ups and various weapons to sabotage other races as you try to win the race. I liked to use a plane with good armor for these races, but use whichever plane you win with the best. This will probably take around 2-3 hours to do. You will need to go through each race in the seven stages and complete them. You should not have to even come in a trophy winning spot, however it is not hard to do so. Play on easy difficulty through the entire campaign to make this as easy on yourself as possible. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1936/UPk-kuM=.jpg Decorated 20:gsicon: Collect 10 Badges. There are 15 badges you can earn in the entire game. You just need for earn 10 of them for this achievement. See "The Most Decorated" for more info. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1936/UP+6bRQ=.jpg The Most Decorated 30:gsicon: Collect all Badges. There are 15 badges you can need to earn for this, one of them needing to win races online. The other 14 can be earned offline. These are not hard, and to me all of them except the online one unlocked just by playing through the campaign. Each badge has three levels to it, bronze, silver, and gold. You only need to earn the bronze badges though. To check your badges, select 'Game Awards' from the main menu, and there will be a list of all your badges and the ones you still need. Do not worry about the various medals you can also earn, you do not need those for any achievements. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1936/UP9ciDw=.jpg Home Stretch 10:gsicon: Unlock all events in the campaign. Just play through the campaign and after completing X amount of races in a stage, the next stage races will unlock. This will unlock after unlocking the single race available in stage 7. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1936/UP5alYc=.jpg The Collector 10:gsicon: Unlock all Planes. Each plane will unlock as you complete the campaign, with the exception of one plane. The plane "Spark" will not unlock until you have completing 20 total online sessions. See "Dressing Room" for more information on boosting online. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1936/UPsem1Y=.jpg Dressing Room 30:gsicon: Unlock all Skins. This achievement required a partner to boost for all of the skins. Most of the planes will have 3/4 skins unlock by just completing the campaign, however each one requires victories online with the plane. What you will want to do is set up a private race for the two of you, and have one person go through each of his planes to unlock the skins that require a victory online. Most of them you can just go through quickly earn the online skin after a single victory. However, Stallion Turbo, and Spark, require 10 victories online with each plane. Also, the plane, Spark, will not even unlock until you play through 20 total races online with any of the other planes. To set up the match, one of you will will start up a custom match online, and change the settings to 'Survivor Race', 'Strong time pressure', and make a session private. Invite your partner, and start boosting. This will take 2 hours at the most for both players to achieve all online achievements. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1936/UPr+Y8U=.jpg First Victory 20:gsicon: Earn your first victory online! See "Dressing Room" for more information. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1936/UP19gYk=.jpg Test Pilot 20:gsicon: Win a race with every plane. You will get this online while boosting the other online achievements with your partner. You cannot get this offline because you need to complete 20 online races to unlock the plane "Spark". http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1936/+1V8Ig==.jpg Addicted 10:gsicon: Complete at least one match for 7 consecutive days. You can do this legit, by just completing a race for seven days in a row, if you want a time stamp. But if you want to earn this as quick as possible, you can do this by changing the times on your console settings. However, your achievement will not have a time stamp when unlocked. If you do not know how to do this, follow my instructions below. 1. Disconnect from Xbox Live by removing your Ethernet cable or wireless adapter from your xbox. 2. On the dashboard, go to My Xbox > System Settings > Console Settings > Clock > Date and Time. 3. Change the date 1 day forward 4. Load up Skydrift 5. Play a race, survivor races will be the quickest if you come in last and are the first eliminated. 6. After the match ends, press :abut until you are back at the main menu, and go to your dashboard. 7. While still disconnected from Xbox Live, repeat step 2 and just go forward again to the next day. 8. Rinse and repeat for seven days Note: Some people have claimed it takes 8 days for them to unlock. So if it doesn't unlock on the 7th day, keep trying. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1936/UPydeRo=.jpg Shock and Awe 10:gsicon: Kill two players at the same time with Shockwave. Get a purple power-up when in a race, and use it in a group of people at the beginning of the race. Any plane that is slightly damaged will blow up. You should get this by just playing through the campaign. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1936/UP68cK8=.jpg Power User 10:gsicon: Use every powerup in the game at least once. There are less than 10 total power-ups in the game. Just keep playing though the campaign and try to use each power-up.
  19. Overview: Estimated achievement difficulty:2/10 Offline: 7 (90:gsicon:) Online: 5 (110:gsicon: Approximate amount of time to 200:gsicon:: 5-7 hours Minimum number of playthroughs needed: 1 Missable achievements: None! Does difficulty affect achievements?: Nope! Unobtainable/glitched achievements: None! Extra equipment needed?: Xbox Live gold, one boosting partner Introduction: Welcome to Skydrift, this is a fairly fun, arcade plane racing game. The achievements are all very easy, however you will need to boost online with a partner for five online achievements. Difficulty does not matter, so play through every race on easy difficulty. Abbreviated Walkthrough: When you first start up the game, go ahead and start playing through the campaign. There are 7 stages in the campaign each with multiple races within them. There are not many maps, it just cycles through the same few and changes the style of race, so you should be able to learn each map. You should play on easy difficulty during the campaign, as I already stated, since difficulty does not matter. You should be able to complete each race and earn a trophy, whether it be first, second, or third place, however I don't think you need to do anything except complete each race. Make sure you get the shockwave power-up's (the purple ones) so you can get the Shock and Awe achievement early on. You also need to earn all of the badges in campaign except one for winning two online races. To check your badges, select 'Game Awards' from the main menu, and there will be a list of all your badges and the ones you still need. do not worry about the various medals you can also earn, you do not need those for any achievements. After you complete the entire campaign, you should have six achievements. Five of the remaining six, you will need to earn online (I will list them in the next section of the roadmap) and the other one will be for completing a race for 7 consecutive days. You can play for seven days in a row if you want to get a timestamp with the achievement, or you can earn it offline and change the date of your console a day ahead seven times. Multiplayer: You will have five achievements remaining that need to be earned online. They should be The Collector, First Victory, The Most Decorated, Test Pilot, and Dressing Room. So get a partner using THIS thread, and start boosting some races. This will take about 2 hours for both of you to earn all online achievements. See "Dressing Room" for more information on the best way to boost. Mop-Up: If you have any remaining achievements, just do whatever you need to do to finish them. Use the guide below for help on any achievements you may still be missing. Conclusion: Overall, this game is an easy completion for a quick 200:gsicon:. The game is also pretty fun, but the current $15 price tag keeps many people from purchasing it.
  20. Wish there was 1v1 Madden. I would kick some ass on online games of madden. I suck at NHL games and never played a basketball game.
  21. Thanks for the reply. I still hadn't figured it out all this time, havent been playing it because of this reason. Appreciate the response.
