  4. http://www.xboxachievements.com/images/achievements/3075/186516-lo.jpg Because It Wasn't Hard Enough 20:1gs: Halo: Reach: Complete a Legendary campaign mission with 3 or more skulls enabled (Scoring Only). This achievement can be earned by completing Noble Actual, the opening cutscene, on Legendary with any three skulls activated. It's that simple! http://www.xboxachievements.com/images/achievements/3075/186517-lo.jpg Classic Completion 10:1gs: Halo: Reach: Complete Exodus without using any armor abilities. This achievement can be earned on the Easy difficulty (or higher). While this achievement can sound daunting, it can be easily achieved with another controller or player. Naturally, while playing on Easy, one player will speed through the mission normally while the second player (who is in need of the achievement) stays put. This will ensure you don't ever accidentally use an armor ability throughout the mission; if you aren't playing, there's no room for error. Conversely, if you find yourself needing to attempt this achievement alone, it will require a bit of skill involving Gravity Hammer, Concussion Rifle, and Frag Grenade jumps in order to reach areas of the map where you would normally require a Jetpack. Keeping this in mind, please refer to the video guide below, courtesy of Halo Completionist, for more information. [ame] [/ame] http://www.xboxachievements.com/images/achievements/3075/186518-lo.jpg Confused Callouts 5:1gs: Halo: Reach: Trigger a humorous callout on your HUD's position indicator. This achievement can be done in a custom match on your own, or in Firefight. In Multiplayer/Firefight, you will notice that near your radar, there is a bit of text that notifies you where on the map you are situated. This is the HUD's position indicator. On nearly every map, there are very specific areas that are given humorous names and, upon finding one of these locations, the achievement will unlock. Please refer to the video guide below, courtesy of Halo Completionist, for a quick visual aid on where this can be achieved. [ame] [/ame] http://www.xboxachievements.com/images/achievements/3075/186519-lo.jpg Collection Eligibility Confirmed 10:1gs: Halo: Reach: See, he IS in the game! This achievement can be earned on the Easy difficulty (or higher) on Pillar of Autumn. During the very last cutscene in Pillar of Autumn, where the camera is set inside the titular ship's hanger and you can see Keyes' Pelican docking, pull/hold your right thumbstick to the right. This will pan the camera slightly, revealing a cryo-pod with Master Chief and in turn unlock the achievement. http://www.xboxachievements.com/images/achievements/3075/186520-lo.jpg Mind the Skill Gap 10:1gs: Halo: Reach: Observe the logo of a buttoned-up mining company. This achievement can be earned on the Easy difficulty (or higher) on Tip of the Spear. After destroying the first anti-air turret, you will eventually need to cross over a bridge toward a massive mining facility. At this time, you will most likely unlock the achievement by simply making your way toward the facility. If, for whatever reason, it doesn't unlock that easily, all you need to do is spot the facility's logo on the yellow-paneled wall as you begin to climb the stairs toward the catwalks infested with Skirmishers and Jackals. http://www.xboxachievements.com/images/achievements/3075/186521-lo.jpg Easy to Overlook 10:1gs: Halo: Reach: Access hidden UNSC radio chatter. This achievement can be done in a custom match on your own, or in Firefight. On nearly every Multiplayer/Firefight map, there are very specific areas that will trigger hidden UNSC radio chatter. For the purposes of this achievement, the easiest way to get this done is to load up a custom match on Overlook. Once the game begins, make your way to the top floor of the large two-story building (Barn High); it's located across the blue water drums. Here, you should be able to trigger the radio chatter and unlock the achievement. http://www.xboxachievements.com/images/achievements/3075/186522-lo.jpg New Ways to Save a Buck 10:1gs: Halo: Reach: Hear a familiar voice on New Alexandria. This achievement can be earned on the Easy difficulty (or higher). In New Alexandria, you will be given three primary objectives. In between these objectives, you will receive randomly-generated secondary objectives that usually involve destroying some Shade Turrets or Banshees, protecting a group of Marines from Covenant, or clearing out a rooftop of Covenant forces. One of these randomly-generated objectives, however, will require you to escort Gunnery Sergeant Buck's Falcon across the city. Once you receive this objective (hearing his call for help over the radio), the achievement will unlock. NOTE: Because these secondary objectives are randomly assigned/generated on each playthrough, you may need to play this mission a few times in order to unlock this achievement.
  5. http://www.xboxachievements.com/images/achievements/3075/186506-lo.jpg Left Behind 10:1gs: Halo: Reach: Achieve a score of 30,000 points on Lone Wolf. Please refer below to "One Final Firefight" for more information. http://www.xboxachievements.com/images/achievements/3075/186507-lo.jpg One Final Firefight 20:1gs: Halo: Reach: Achieve a score of 150,000 points on Lone Wolf. This achievement is best earned on the Easy difficulty with every skull, minus Blind and Mythic, activated. The strategies involved in completing this haunting task all boil down to one aspect: stay alive and kill everything. By attempting this on Easy with so many skull modifiers activated at once, it will, in turn, lower the base difficulty while still providing a decent bonus multiplier. Make no mistake, however: this will still be pretty difficult and even a single uninterrupted, successful run can take anywhere from 50-60 minutes. With that said, the actual core strategy here involves using the DMR to headshot Grunts and performing melee attacks/kills on the Elites (to both kill them and regenerate your shields). After some time doing this—typically 5 minutes—Elite Generals will begin to enter the battlefield (these are the heavily armored golden Elites). You'll want to snatch an Energy Sword after killing one of these Generals and then use it for the rest of the mission (obviously switching it out as necessary when ammo is depleted). The best area to bunker down at this point is right below the starting point; you will usually only be mobbed by 3-4 Elites at once. From then on, the firefight will become a tedious battle of melee attacks against the Covenant. As mentioned, it will likely takes upward to about 60 minutes, maybe even more, to net the required score, but, once you do earn 150,000 points, you can get yourself deliberately killed to end the mission and unlock the achievement. http://www.xboxachievements.com/images/achievements/3075/186508-lo.jpg What About Bob? 10:1gs: Halo: Reach: Find and eliminate one of the hidden Ranger Commander Elites. This achievement can be earned on any difficulty and on any mission; there is one hidden Ranger Commander Elite in each mission of the game. You will most likely unlock this naturally over the course of one of your several playthroughs, though it's worth noting that these hidden Ranger Commanders are often gold-plated Elites. Many players have had success unlocking this achievement when killing the several Elites inside the Corvette's bridge during Long Night or Solace or killing Elites during their Lone Wolf run for the "One Final Firefight" achievement. Meanwhile, there are reports that, on ONI: Sword Base, upon returning to the base late-mission, there is a white-plated Elite that, when killed, will unlock the achievement. All in all, just press on through the game and the rest of the achievements and this will more than likely unlock without much effort on your part. http://www.xboxachievements.com/images/achievements/3075/186509-lo.jpg Jorge Can't Have All the Big Guns 5:1gs: Halo: Reach: Use a Pelican turret. This achievement can be earned on the Easy difficulty (or higher) on Long Night of Solace, Rally Point Charlie. At the very end of this mission, your primary objective will task you with helping Jorge defend the UNSC Pelican by clearing out the Covenant forces inside the hanger. At any time during this fight, you can actually enter the Pelican yourself and use its chain gun, becoming invulnerable in the process. All you need to do is, while crouched, hug the nose of the Pelican and continuously smash your action button until your Spartan "glitches" into the vehicle. Once you've taken control of the ship's turret, the achievement will unlock. http://www.xboxachievements.com/images/achievements/3075/186510-lo.jpg I'm Sorry, Dave 5:1gs: Halo: Reach: Find the hidden binary signature. This achievement can be earned on any difficulty and at any time during your playthrough(s). While using a weapon without a scope, such as the Assault Rifle, zoom in and the achievement will unlock! This is a clever Easter Egg from the original version of the game where, on the lower left-hand side of your HUD, there is binary code that reads: "Dave." http://www.xboxachievements.com/images/achievements/3075/186511-lo.jpg Workers' Compensation 10:1gs: Halo: Reach: Splatter an enemy using the forklift. This achievement can be earned in a solo Firefight match. In the pre-game lobby, tinker your settings so that you are invulnerable and start the match with a Gravity Hammer and Concussion Rifle. Next, change the map to Courtyard, the difficulty to Easy, and the game type to Gruntpocalypse. Now you can start the game. When you spawn, simply run toward the right-hand side of the map and you should see a forklift. Your goal is to smack the forklift with the Gravity Hammer so that it splatters one of the many Grunts in the area. Even if/when the forklift explodes and is inoperable, you should still be able to toss it around with your weapons. It may take a few tries, but once you've splattered a Grunt with the forklift, the achievement will unlock. http://www.xboxachievements.com/images/achievements/3075/186512-lo.jpg Capacious Cartography 10:1gs: Halo: Reach: Create a custom map using Forge World. This achievement is very self-explanatory. From the Main Menu, click "Create" and then "Forge" and then "Halo Reach." Now scroll all the way to the right to select "Forge World" as your canvas. Once the game starts, simply pause the game and save the map; the achievement will unlock right away. http://www.xboxachievements.com/images/achievements/3075/186513-lo.jpg Requiescat in Pace 10:1gs: Halo: Reach: Complete 10 assassinations on enemy players. Please refer below to "Game Breaker" for more information. http://www.xboxachievements.com/images/achievements/3075/186514-lo.jpg Run and Gunned 10:1gs: Halo: Reach: Headshot 10 enemies while they are sprinting. Please refer below to "Game Breaker" for more information. http://www.xboxachievements.com/images/achievements/3075/186515-lo.jpg Game Breaker 10:1gs: Halo: Reach: Kill 10 enemies while using a Jetpack. This achievement, as well as "Requiescat in Pace" and "Run and Gunned" can all be earned in a Custom Game with a second controller or another player. Regardless on whatever map and game type you choose, both players should meet up in a centralized location on the map and then begin to trade kills. The requirements for these three achievements are straightforward, so there isn't too much detail to explain.
  6. http://www.xboxachievements.com/images/achievements/3075/186497-lo.jpg Why Do This To Yourself? 30:1gs: Halo: Reach: Complete the Halo: Reach LASO Campaign playlist. As with any of the playlists dedicated to the Halo: Reach Campaign, the LASO Campaign playlist will task players in completing every mission on the Legendary difficulty with all skulls activated. As always, this achievement can be earned in either Solo or Co-Op play, though, given the perimeters of the Iron skull, it's highly recommended to attempt this with at least one cooperative partner. What’s more, it’s important to remember that only scoring skulls will be activated. These generally reward players with higher score multipliers and bonuses to base enemy values (for Par Score achievements). Non-scoring skulls on the other hand are sometimes neutral, such as Grunt Birthday Party. Below, you can get a glimpse of all the skulls that will be activated in the Halo: Reach LASO Campaign playlist. Black Eye - Your shields only recharge when you melee enemies. Bash your way to better health! Blind - HUD and weapon do not display onscreen Catch - Enemies throw and drop more grenades Cowbell - Acceleration from explosions is increased Famine - Weapons dropped by AI have half the ammo they normally would. You might want to pack an extra magazine Grunt Birthday Party – Grunt headshots lead to glorious celebrations Iron - Death carries a heavy price. Dying in co-op resets you at your last saved checkpoint. Dying solo restarts the level IWHBYD - Rare combat dialogue becomes more common Mythic - Enemies have increased health Thunderstorm – Upgrades the rank of most enemies Tilt – Enemy resistances and weaknesses are increased Tough Luck – Enemies always go berserk, always dive out of the way, never flee As a few general tips, keep the following suggestions in mind when tackling this achievement. First, take combat slowly and try picking off enemies from afar with short controlled bursts of medium-ranged weapons like the UNSC Magnum and/or DMR or the Covenant Needle Rifle. Since your HUD and weapon will not appear on screen, it may take some time in getting used to the “blinded” touch. Also, choose your shots wisely and always aim for vulnerable weak spots since ammo is scarce on the battlefield and enemies will have increased health and resistances. Second, enemies are going to be agile in combat, diving away from your shots and throwing a lot of grenades, so don’t forget the basics of cover, and, when necessary, close-quarters combat, especially since shields will only recharge upon melee attacks. There are several mission-specific strategies and tips to note, but, for the sake of a more comprehensive approach in outline this information with the added bonus of a visual walkthrough, feel refer to utilize , courtesy of Halo Completionist for all your LASO-related needs. http://www.xboxachievements.com/images/achievements/3075/186498-lo.jpg Reach Has Been Good to Me 10:1gs: Halo: Reach: Complete a Halo: Reach playlist. Please refer below to "Who Needs Red Flag?" for more information. http://www.xboxachievements.com/images/achievements/3075/186499-lo.jpg Who Needs Red Flag? 20:1gs: Halo: Reach: Complete three Halo: Reach playlists. Much like before, these predetermined Campaign playlists act as a means of experiencing a particular set missions that all share a common thread. Since the LASO Campaign playlist must be completed for a separate achievement, and it's highly recommended to complete the Legendary Campaign playlist for one of your Legendary playthroughs, all that is required is to complete one additional playlist for this achievement. Take your pick; you can't go wrong with any! http://www.xboxachievements.com/images/achievements/3075/186500-lo.jpg Remember Reach 5:1gs: Halo: Reach: Play a game of Halo: Reach on the 14th of any month. As a means of celebrating the launch date of the original Halo Reach, this achievement simply tasks you to play the game on the 14th of any month. This can be done with very little effort, either by playing any of the Campaign missions or a single multiplayer match on the aforementioned date. http://www.xboxachievements.com/images/achievements/3075/186501-lo.jpg Keep Your Foot on the Pedrogas 30:1gs: Halo: Reach: Complete all Halo: Reach Legendary campaign missions in under 3 hours. This achievement will prove to be one of the most difficult tasks within the entire game. It's worth noting that you may want to grab a cooperative partner when working on this achievement for two reasons: one, the extra firepower will help put down enemies a little quicker; two, one player can usually act as a decent distraction while the second player attempts to push on and run by as many enemies as possible in an attempt to grab the next checkpoint. As is the case with these achievements, a text-based guide would be too tedious in explaining every single mission within the game, so please refer to , courtesy of Vodred for an in-depth look at completing Halo: Reach's Legendary Campaign in under three hours. NOTE: By following the speed running tactics provided in the video link above, you will almost certainly obtain the par time achievement for each of the Campaign's nine missions. http://www.xboxachievements.com/images/achievements/3075/186502-lo.jpg Enemies Everywhere! 10:1gs: Halo: Reach: Complete a Firefight set on Normal or Harder. Please refer to "Chol Von's Not Gonna Like This" for more information. http://www.xboxachievements.com/images/achievements/3075/186503-lo.jpg Negative, Ghostrider 10:1gs: Halo: Reach: Get a Skullamanjaro in a matchmade Headhunter game. This achievement must be earned online in a matchmade game. The Skullamanjaro medal is earned in any Headhunter game by scoring ten skulls at once. In order to help make this achievement less of a burden, it's best to play Team Hunter or Big Team Head Hunter, rather any Free-for-All variant. The reason a team-based match will prove to be easier is because the achievement seems to unlock for anyone if a player on your team earns the medal! Simply focus on good teamwork and effective communication in keeping your "VIP" alive and hunting down the enemy team to score more skulls! http://www.xboxachievements.com/images/achievements/3075/186504-lo.jpg Skunked 10:1gs: Halo: Reach: Won a matchmade game of Invasion in the 1st phase. This achievement must be earned online in a matchmade game. In this 6v6 game type, the objective is simple: one team defends and one team attacks; the attacking team needs to "contest" one of two generators in Phase 1 and if they are successful, go onto a similar objective in Phase 2. If the attacking team successfully contests one of the two generators in the second Phase, then they will finally be able to capture the core in a centralized, yet heavily-guarded area on the defense team's turf and extract said core to safety. If the core is extracted, the attack team wins; if, during any phase, the defense team prevents the attacking team from advancing for the allotted time, they will win. For the purposes of this achievement, you must, while on the defending team, prevent the opposing team from capturing either generator for the allotted time (4 minutes). If you are on the attacking team at the start of a match, don't worry, the teams will switch sides after the first round. http://www.xboxachievements.com/images/achievements/3075/186505-lo.jpg Clear and Present Danger 5:1gs: Halo: Reach: Pad on the run. This achievement can only be earned on the Legendary difficulty on Winter Contingency. At the very start of the mission, after exiting the Falcon and gaining control of your character, you will be tasked with making your way down the hill toward the distress signal. As you're moving down the hill, you should notice the faint outline of a cloaked Elite running away. Quickly swap to your Magnum to take him out from a distance and unlock this achievement. NOTE: It's worth noting that, despite sounding very easy, this may actually take several attempts as the Elite has somewhat of a headstart on you in terms of distance and then disappears after turning the first corner where two Moa begin to flee. With even patience, though, you should be able to kill him and collect the Data Pad on his corpse for the "Unreliable Narrator" achievement.

In total, there are 19 Data Pads within the Campaign of Halo: Reach. Specifically, there are two on each main mission of the game and then one more in the "Lone Wolf" mission. Since half of them will only appear when playing on Legendary, it's best to grab them all during any of your Legendary playthroughs. These collectibles are extremely well-hidden and come in the appearance of a small iPad-like tablet. At times, you will find that some are only obtainable for reaching obscure locations via deep exploration. For an in-depth video guide for all these Data Pads please refer to the video below, courtesy of Halo Completionist. [ame] [/ame]
  8. http://www.xboxachievements.com/images/achievements/3075/186468-lo.jpg Forza in the Fall 5:1gs: Halo: Reach: Flip the switches to become a Reach Racer! This achievement can be earned on the Easy difficulty (or higher) on ONI: Sword Base. After clearing our the initial courtyard firefight and passing through the bunker-like structure into the next area of the mission, there are two hidden switches that, when activated simultaneously, will unlock a racetrack-like Easter Egg. Because there are two switches, and they must be activated at the same time, this achievement will require either a second controller or another player. Please refer to the video guide below, courtesy of Halo Completionist, for more information regarding the location of the switches. [ame] [/ame] http://www.xboxachievements.com/images/achievements/3075/186469-lo.jpg HBOrg Special 5:1gs: Halo: Reach: Party with the DJ Brute. Please refer below to "Front Page News" for more information. http://www.xboxachievements.com/images/achievements/3075/186471-lo.jpg We're Gonna Need a Bigger Ship 5:1gs: Halo: Reach: Fly both the Pelican and Phantom on New Alexandria. This achievement can be earned on the Easy difficulty (or higher). This Easter Egg involves a couple prerequisites and, while it's technically achievable solo, is best done with another player. The prerequisites are as follows: Keep one Falcon intact Obtain a Jetpack in the Hospital Obtain a Banshee (you will need to hijack one; the best way to do this is to, after obtaining a Jetpack, fly your Falcon over an enemy Banshee and then exit the Falcon and perform a hijack mid-fall, using the Jetpack to aid in your directional descent/ascent, if needed) Once you have the Falcon, Jetpack, and Banshee, you will need to fly both vehicles toward Club Errera. Around this area, there is a tall building west of the Club. The player inside the Falcon will need to land their vehicle on the rooftop and, quite trickily, use the Jetpack to locate a hidden button on the underside of a lower floor. NOTE: It's important for the player inside the Banshee to remain inside the vehicle; the Banshee has the tendency to despawn/disappear if left unattended for too long. Once the hidden switch has been activated, the player who activated the button can fall to their death and spawn on the second player (near the Falcon, of course). Now, one player will need to fly through a very large "ring-like" bridge structure in the distance (please refer to the video for its exact location). The player flying the Falcon through this structure will, after a short delay, transform their vehicle into a Pelican. After this happens, the other player can then fly their Banshee through the same structure, in turn morphing it into a Phantom and unlocking the achievement for both/all players within the game. For a visual aid, since this may seem very vague and complicated to follow, please refer to the video guide below, courtesy of Halo Completionist. [ame] [/ame] http://www.xboxachievements.com/images/achievements/3075/186472-lo.jpg Front Page News 10:1gs: Halo: Reach: Find me in the club. This achievement, as well as "HBOrg Special" and "Play Us a Sad Song, Claude" can be done on the Easy difficulty (or higher), and are all earned on New Alexandria. While "Front Page News" itself will unlock naturally for stepping foot inside Club Errera for the first time, the other two achievements (which are also tied to the Club) involve piloting your Falcon to obscurely-hidden switches around the city and activating them in order to kick off the start of two Easter Eggs. Explaining the location of these switches would be very convoluted through text, so please refer to the video guide below for a visual aid, courtesy of Halo Completionist. [ame] [/ame] http://www.xboxachievements.com/images/achievements/3075/186473-lo.jpg The Humble Beginnings of Wiljax Brantley 10:1gs: Halo: Reach: Now that's a value meal. This achievement can be earned on the Easy difficulty (or higher) on Exodus. At the start of the mission, you will naturally pass through a darkened building with several Grunts. After exiting this building, you will find yourself in a courtyard with a few Brutes and additional enemy forces. Clear out the area and, once it's clear and you can freely roam around without any imminent threat, locate the "World Cuisine" kiosk on the left-hand side of the courtyard, just before the door that leads you further into the mission. All you have to do is look at the kiosk's ad for Moa Burgers for a few seconds and the achievement will unlock. http://www.xboxachievements.com/images/achievements/3075/186474-lo.jpg Did You Major in Marine Bio? 10:1gs: Halo: Reach: Encounter the hidden marines on Exodus. This achievement can be earned on the Easy difficulty (or higher). At the very end of this mission, after the Falcon ride to the beach with the anti-air turrets, you are going to have to turn around and trek back the way you came...on foot. It's worth noting that you will need a Jetpack in order to complete this journey, as some rock traversal is necessary. Keeping that in mind, refer to the video guide below, courtesy of Halo Completionist, for further details explaining the path to take; a text-based solution would be much too difficult to follow. [ame] [/ame] http://www.xboxachievements.com/images/achievements/3075/186475-lo.jpg Fly, You Fools! 5:1gs: Halo: Reach: Find the hidden Banshees on The Package. This achievement can only be earned on the Legendary difficulty. After clearing the firefight against Covenant forces at the start of this mission, you will eventually encounter a UNSC Scorpion tank. From here, there are two hidden switches that must be pressed quickly in order to magically spawn four Covenant Banshees for use. Because there are two switches, and the second switch must be activated quickly after activating the first, this achievement will require either a second controller or another player. Please refer to the video guide below, courtesy of Halo Completionist, for more information regarding the location of the switches and the Banshees. [ame] [/ame] http://www.xboxachievements.com/images/achievements/3075/186476-lo.jpg This is Not the Greatest Lab in the World… 5:1gs: Halo: Reach: Find your way into Halsey's Lab on The Package. This achievement can only be earned on the Legendary difficulty. If you don't want to play through the entire mission, you can load The Package at Rally Point Charlie. After clearing the elongated, final firefight of this mission, there is an opportunity to enter Dr. Halsey's Lab before even activating the entrance button and entering the standard way. As you may have guessed, this can be done be finding and activating a hidden switch within the area, which in turn opens a secret door that leads into the Lab. Be mindful, however, that, after activating this button, as you approach the hidden lab entrance, seven sword-wielding Elites will ambush you. For a visual aid in locating the aforementioned hidden switch, as well as a general tip on how to deal with this firefight in a more efficient manner by hijacking one of the Wraiths in the area, please refer to the video guide below, courtesy of Halo Completionist [ame] [/ame]
  9. http://www.xboxachievements.com/images/achievements/3075/186458-lo.jpg T'vaoan Terminator 10:1gs: Halo: Reach: Kill 100 Skirmishers. Please refer below to "Chol Von's Not Gonna Like This" for more information. http://www.xboxachievements.com/images/achievements/3075/186459-lo.jpg Chol Von's Not Gonna Like This 10:1gs: Halo: Reach: Kill 1000 Skirmishers. Though you will make some progress toward this naturally as you play through the Campaign several times for other achievements, this can be completed quickly in Firefight. In the Firefight lobby, click to open the roster. Now select your gamertag, select "Go to Find Player," and search for "Juiiiian." Open this player's file share and, under Game Types, download "Jullian's Skirmisher Guide." From here, return to the Firefight lobby, set the difficulty to Normal, and select this newly download game type variant. Given the customization on this game type, you should have no problem killing enemies quickly without worrying about your health/shields. What's more, while working on this achievement, you will also unlock "Enemies Everywhere!" along the way for completing a Firefight set on Normal or higher. http://www.xboxachievements.com/images/achievements/3075/186460-lo.jpg Keep It Clean 10:1gs: Halo: Reach: Kill 7 Moa during Winter Contingency. This achievement is very straightforward and can be earned on any difficulty. Throughout the Winter Contingency mission, there are several bird-like creatures (Moa) roaming around the area (ie, two in the beginning before making your way into a small structure, nearly five shortly after getting into the mission's first vehicle, etc.). Moa are rather weak and can be killed easily, but they are also very fast and will flee if you get too close. With this in mind, simply kill seven any way you see fit over the course of this mission and the achievement will unlock. http://www.xboxachievements.com/images/achievements/3075/186461-lo.jpg They've Always Been Faster 10:1gs: Halo: Reach: Clear Winter Contingency without setting foot in a drivable vehicle. This achievement must be done on the Normal difficulty (or higher). At least twice during this mission, you will pass by civilian trucks that can be used to quickly reach your objectives across the map. For the purposes of this achievement, you will want to avoid getting into and/or using these trucks. Instead, you'll want to get to the end of the mission on foot, even using your sprint ability whenever you can, where the achievement will then unlock. http://www.xboxachievements.com/images/achievements/3075/186462-lo.jpg Wake Up Buttercup 10:1gs: Halo: Reach: Destroy the Corvette's engines & escort in under 3 minutes during Long Night of Solace. This achievement must be done on the Heroic difficulty (or higher). After clearing about three to four waves of Covenant ships during the space battle in Long Night of Solace, you will be given a new objective: destroy the Corvette's engines and its escort. There isn't much strategy involved here other than making sure to stay alive, dodging incoming attacks from the Banshees and Seraphs, and focusing first on the Corvette's four engines. Once they are destroyed, you can then focus your attention on the escort ships, making sure to stay at a distance since the Corvette's turrets can still damage your Saber. Also, as added advice, although the game does mention it, use the Saber's machine gun to disable a Seraph's shields before opening fire on it with your missiles. http://www.xboxachievements.com/images/achievements/3075/186463-lo.jpg Two Corpses In One Grave 10:1gs: Halo: Reach: Kill 2 vehicles at once with the Target Locator during ONI: Sword Base. This achievement must be done on the Normal difficulty (or higher). After clearing out the initial courtyard of Covenant and making your way to the designated ordinance within the bunker-like structure, pick up the Target Locator weapon. Now, when the doors open and reveal the next area, head on through and make note of the UNSC Warthog that races down the hill toward two Covenant Wraiths. Immediately target one of the two Wraiths (targeting the Wraith on the right seem to have a greater success rate), and, if the AI is kind, it will drive toward the other Wraith before missiles drop down and destroy both vehicles. If you weren't so lucky, just revert your checkpoint and keep trying until you manage to unlock the achievement. http://www.xboxachievements.com/images/achievements/3075/186464-lo.jpg Your Heresy Will Stay Your Feet 10:1gs: Halo: Reach: Kill the Elite Zealot before he can escape during Tip of the Spear. This achievement must be done on the Normal difficulty (or higher). After destroying the first anti-air turret and crossing a bridge toward the mining facility, you will eventually turn down a walkway and enter an open courtyard infested with Covenant forces. In this area, typically directly ahead on the opposite raised walkway, is an Elite Zealot; the game will notify you of his presence with a red marker above his head, as well as an audio cue from your allies. You'll have to be quick in eliminating the Elite Zealot in order to unlock the achievement, so, regardless of difficulty, hit him with the Noob Combo (Plasma Pistol + DMR or Needle Rifle) to dispose of him quickly. If he does not die by your hand, or manages to escape, restart your checkpoint and try again. [ame] [/ame] http://www.xboxachievements.com/images/achievements/3075/186465-lo.jpg I Didn't Train To Be A Pilot 10:1gs: Halo: Reach: Kill 3 of the anti-aircraft batteries during New Alexandria. This achievement must be done on the Normal difficulty (or higher). Throughout the New Alexandria mission, there will be various Covenant Shade turrets on the rooftops, punishing you with plasma firepower as you fly your Falcon from objective to objective. For the purposes of this achievement, all you need to do is destroy three of these turrets during your time in the mission; it's as simple as that! http://www.xboxachievements.com/images/achievements/3075/186466-lo.jpg Tank Beats Everything 10:1gs: Halo: Reach: Finish The Package on Legendary with the Scorpion intact. This achievement must be done on the Legendary difficulty. After clearing the firefight against Covenant forces at the start of this mission, you will eventually encounter a UNSC Scorpion tank. For the purposes of this achievement, you must reach the bunker-like structure outside ONI: Sword Base with the tank still intact. This may sound difficult given it must be done on Legendary, but, so long as you keep a significant distance from the enemies and drive slowly throughout the mission, the damage the tank receives shouldn't be substantial enough to destroy it. If, for whatever reason, the Scorpion is destroyed (and you die as a result of being inside the vehicle), restarting or reverting to your last checkpoint will not void the achievement. Lastly, as a note of importance, both of the Covenant anti-air turrets can be destroyed with the Scorpion at a distance; you don't need to exit the tank and destroy them manually. http://www.xboxachievements.com/images/achievements/3075/186467-lo.jpg Swift and Shallow 10:1gs: Halo: Reach: Hijack a Banshee during the Reach Campaign. This achievement can be earned on any difficulty on Exodus, Rally Point Charlie. As soon you load into the mission via Rally Point Charlie, hang around on the outer platform with your marines and wait until the two UNSC Falcons land. Once they have touched down, go ahead and kill two or three friendly NPC marines until they become hostile. Now quickly move over to the Falcon on the left side of the platform and hold your action button to "board it." Surprisingly, this will count as hijacking an enemy Banshee and unlock the achievement.

In order to beat the par time on each of the nine missions of the Halo: Reach's Campaign, you will want to take two things into account. First, play on the Easy difficulty setting so that enemies aren't as dangerous. Second, utilizing the various speed running tactics as shown in the "Keep Your Foot on the Pedrogas" achievement will help immensely in skipping certain firefights and finishing each mission in a considerably less amount of time as normal. With these tips in mind, you should have no problem completing each mission under par time. Overall, just remember to play on the lowest difficulty setting and try rushing past as many firefights (when possible). Once you beat the par time for all nine missions, this achievement will unlock. NOTE: It is not absolutely required to play missions on Easy in order to beat their par time. In fact, some of these achievements can and may come naturally during any Legendary playthrough. If they don't, though, it's then easiest to just do them on Easy. http://www.xboxachievements.com/images/achievements/3075/186448-lo.jpg Ice In Your Veins 10:1gs: Halo: Reach: Beat the par score on Winter Contingency. In order to achieve the par score on each of the nine missions of Halo: Reach's Campaign, you will want to take two things into account. First, skull modifiers and difficulty setting will greatly impact your score; the more skulls active and the higher the difficulty, the higher your multiplier. Second, you should aim to complete missions as quickly as possible (ideally within par time, as it will give you a x3 multiplier) while still killing as much as possible on the battlefield via headshots and multikills. If you do happen to run over par time, try picking up the pace as the time multiplier will begin to reduce significantly. Once you beat the Par Score for all ten missions, this achievement will unlock. NOTE: It is not absolutely required to play missions with skull modifiers active in order to earn their par score. In fact, most of these achievements can and may come naturally during any Legendary playthrough given the difficulty setting. If they don't, though, it's then easiest to attempt them on Normal or Heroic with a few of the "easier" skulls active (Catch, Famine, Fog, Thunderstorm, Tough Luck, etc.).

This achievement will unlock once the entirety of the Halo: Reach Campaign has been successfully completed on either a solo or cooperative Legendary playthrough. It is recommended that you play through the game's Legendary Campaign playlist so that this playthrough will also contribute toward the "Who Needs Red Flag?" achievement. There are multiple methods in tackling the missions of the Campaign, but keep these general tips in mind when playing: Utilize the Noob-Combo (Plasma Pistol/Magnum Pistol or Plasma Pistol/DMR) at all times when facing Elites; an overcharged Plasma Pistol shot will drain their shields, and a quick Magnum/DMR round to the cranium will down the warriors easily Utilize ground vehicles—Warthogs, Scorpions, and Ghosts—as frequently as possible; their firepower in missions such as ONI: Sword Base, Tip of the Spear, and The Package will help clear out areas quickly and you can even drive past enemy encounters if the mission allows for it (which is more often than you'd think) When facing Hunters, get close enough so that they charge at you, allowing time to side step their attack; when the orange flesh on their back is exposed, shoot it, as this is their only weak spot When squaring off against Drones, specifically in Pillar of Autumn, keep a DMR or Needle Rifle on hand; these are the best weapons to use against these agile flyers Don’t neglect the basics of using cover; when your shields drop down, hide behind a wall or crouch behind an object before charging back out into battle Try exploring the missions and finding alternate routes behind or around the enemies; this can help save time by skipping major firefights on levels such as ONI: Sword Base, Nightfall, Tip of the Spear, Exodus, and Pillar of Autumn Overall, because seasoned Halo players will be familiar with both level design and enemy behavior, completing the entire Campaign on Legendary shouldn't pose too much of an issue. Once all the missions in Halo: Reach have been completed on the Legendary difficulty setting, this achievement will be yours.

Rights of Use: This guide is for the use of XBA only and may not be used without the consent of the author (BiggD) or Website Admin. http://i.imgur.com/NYqzmXF.png?1 Thanks to Rajeanero for the nostalgic banner! Overview: - Estimated achievement difficulty: 6/10 - Offline: 98/100 (980:1gs:) - Online: 2/100 (20:1gs:) - Approximate amount of time to 1000:gsicon:: 50+ Hours - Minimum number of playthroughs needed: 2 - Missable achievements: None - Does difficulty affect achievements?: Yes, see roadmap below - Unobtainable/glitched achievements: None - Extra equipment needed?: N/A - Cost of DLC: Free if subscribed to Game Pass, otherwise $10 for the Campaign Introduction We return once more, Spartans! Developer 343 Industries has finally added Halo: Reach to Halo: The Master Chief Collection. For those who are subscribed to Game Pass, the entirety of the game will be available to download for free; otherwise, the Multiplayer portion of the game is free to all and the Campaign will cost about $10 to purchase. With this expansion, there are one-hundred achievements to be earned. Similar to the collection's previous lists, these achievements range from Campaign completion and hidden Easter Eggs to a variety of miscellaneous tasks and two online-only feats. You will likely spend more than 40-50 hours with Halo: Reach to see everything complete, so strap in and enjoy this final adventure. Playthrough #1 (Legendary Playlist) To begin, go ahead and start the Halo: Reach Legendary Campaign playlist. If you'd like to save an extra playthrough later on and stack "A Monument To All Your Sins" here, which tasks you with completing the game on solo Legendary, then make sure to play alone on this first playthrough. If you don't mind playing through the Campaign an extra time, then feel free to tackle this cooperatively. During this initial playthrough, you will naturally unlock nine story-related achievements for each mission, as well as four (or five if playing solo) achievements for stacking the Campaign completion on the highest difficulty setting. It's worth taking the time during each of the nine missions to track down the hidden Data Pads. There are two of these collectibles on each main mission of the game; however, Lone Wolf, the post-game firefight mission, only has one. Thus, there are nineteen collectibles overall, all of which have their own achievement and then an overall achievement for finding all nineteen. Lastly, your time spent on each mission of this playthrough will likely be slow-paced, so ignore the par time and par scores entirely. Instead, focus on grabbing the various Easter Egg achievements and mission-specific achievements. Playthrough #2 (LASO Playlist) + Additional Playlist There are three separate achievements related to the Halo: Reach Campaign playlists. Fortunately, your first Legendary playthrough will net "Reach Has Been Good to Me" for completing a single playlist. The other two achievements are "Who Needs Red Flag?" and "Why Do This To Yourself?," which are earned for completing three playlists total and completing the Halo: Reach LASO Campaign playlist, respectively. When tackling the LASO playlist, please refer to the guide below for a video guide playlist on each of the Campaign's nine missions. Remember, it's always better to tackle such a playlist with a group of dedicated players rather than trying to do it on your own. Par Scores, Par Times, & Legendary Speed Run On your first playthrough of the Campaign, regardless of whether it was solo vs cooperative, you would have likely taken a decent amount of time on each mission to hunt down collectibles and Easter Eggs. Thus, you will likely have to replay each mission on Legendary in order to net good completion times toward the "Keep Your Foot on the Pedrogas" achievement, which tasks you with beating the Campaign on Legendary in under three hours. As you go back to missions to speedrun them, you should naturally earn all of the par time achievements, too. After unlocking your three-hour achievement, all you need to do at this point is mop up any par time and par score achievements on a lower difficulty via mission select. Miscellaneous + Online A number of the miscellaneous achievements in this game will be earned during one of your several playthroughs; however, for those that remain, you can use mission select to choose specific missions and hunt down what you may have missed. There are also a number of achievements that, while at first glance appear to only be obtainable online, can actually be done in Firefight or Custom Games on your own, such as killing 1,000 Skirmishers, killing ten enemies while jetpacking, splattering an enemy with a forklift, and assassinating ten enemy players. Lastly, make sure to play any mission or Multiplayer game of Halo: Reach on the 14th of any month in order to unlock "Remember Reach." It's worth calling out that there are two online achievements: "Negative, Ghostrider" and "Skunked." The former will require you to earn a Skullamanjaro in a matchmade Headhunter game, while the latter tasks you with winning a matchmade game of Invasion in the first phase. Conclusion This is it, Spartans: the final adventure of The Master Chief Collection. If you've made it thus far, the achievement list for Halo: Reach should pose no burden; it follows the same structure as those that came before it, boasting several enjoyable (yet rightfully challenging) feats for the most dedicated of Halo players.
  13. Once Upon a Time in Hollywood - 4.5/5 I'd say this is one of Tarantino's least narrative-driven films, but that doesn't take it away from being one of his better pieces. It's incredibly well-made, gorgeously shot, and stupendously acted. The third act is incredible, probably one of my favorite 20-30 minutes of cinema all year. Margot Robbie was fantastic, as always, but Brad Pitt was the star for me. He played his character with such charm and mystique. That, and I think this is one of Leo's best performances (berating himself in the trailer and then nailing his lines in the following scene was masterclass work).
  14. The Lion King (2019) - 4/5 Some scenes didn’t quite capture the magic of the original, but this was a great experience, especially in Dolby. Such a fantastic film! One of my favorites this year.
