  1. So far, I haven't noticed that clothes, hair, or beard make any difference. What does is whether a lawman sees you or not. If you put on the bandana, it protects you from being identified by any normal citizen when you commit a crime. I was literally in a bar in Rhodes, playing Blackjack for an hour, then I lost and decided to just shoot up the place and see if I could get my money back. I stood up from the table, put on my bandana (right in front of them), and then started shooting the guys at the table. There were at least six witnesses who ran out and reported the crime while I looted bodies. Then I ran outside and got on my horse and got away before the law got there or saw me. They did their investigation and chased me, but never saw me, so I wasn't identified -- no bounty. The trick is that the bandana only protects you from non-lawmen identifying you. It doesn't keep you from being wanted. It doesn't keep you from being identified by lawmen. So you gotta put it on, do the deed, then get out of there before the cops show up!
  2. There is no "OR". You MUST have preordered any edition prior to July 31st. Otherwise, there is a gold bar to be found in that burned out town, but the treasure map is not there.
  3. Not my map, but enjoy. I do know 100% for sure all the travel boards are there, because I did take the time to get all those so I could fast travel for free!
  4. They later reported it was an EA Server issue and there were actually problems being reported in multiple titles, not just BF2. I had a friend who logged into Madden and his entire Ultimate Team collection had vanished.
  5. Anyone having issues with Achievo's not popping?!? I'm missing 2 so far which I should have, for reaching level 20 and completing the Crucible/Shaxx stuff. I'm hoping when I reach level 20 with my second class, it will pop, but I have no idea why the Shaxx one didn't pop.
  6. Most of the achievements are achieved simply by following the in-game "Play" tab quest line and also a few Side Quests and Tutorial Quests that pop up under the "Quest" tab. So you'd think it would be fairly easy right? Wrong. The game is a grindy "future F2P" game. Currently in Early Access BETA build, I've put in over 50 hours already and I'm less than halfway through the achievements. I voted for 100+ simply based on that and the fact that once you hit about Power Level 20ish, things really start to slow down and you hit a wall. You need skill points to open up more abilities and squad slots, you need more survivors and more powerful survivors to slot into those slots, you need more survivor XP and hero XP and materials to evolve and level up those survivors and heroes, and on top of it all, you're hoping you've got enough weapon and trap schematics and materials to go with them that you're not struggling with difficulty. Luckily, the game is fun as hell or we wouldn't be putting up with this grind.
  7. Read the "Star Wars: Aftermath" series. There's a lot of Imperial POV stuff there. And since it's a post-Disney purchase book, it's all canon. Plus, I'm convinced that [spoiler=1]Gallius Rax is Snoke. And the explanation is all in those three books. Not to mention that he was the guy behind the whole new way the First Order "bred" soldiers and brainwashed them. I'd outline my whole reasoning why he's Snoke, but it would be pretty big spoilers of the books, not to mention if I'm right, it would be spoiling the future films.
  8. For those who didn't watch the Panel or who weren't lucky enough to be there , I'll add what they said, a crib notes version: - No Season Pass. They thought that selling maps was a bad way to split up the community and they "need to explore other ways of selling DLC". I take this to mean that they'll either sell visual customizations and "speed-up unlocks" type stuff, or they might give away the maps for free, but they'll sell the new heroes, guns, and vehicles separately. - Single Player Campaign is an epic (AND CANON) story about a new character, Iden Versio. Iden is an elite Imperial Stormtrooper and she is the commander of "Inferno Squad". They are elite highly trained and dedicated special operatives in the Imperial war machine. You can learn more about her background and the background of "Inferno Squad" by picking up the upcoming Christie Golden novel aptly named "Star Wars: Battlefront - Inferno Squad" that will be released in July. - In multiplayer, players will now have four basic classes (Officer, Assault, Heavy, and Specialist) that will progress through play not only in-match, but over the course of all your play. - As well as class progression, your Hero characters will level up and progress as you play them, opening up new skills, new visual customizations, and other neat stuff. - Even though there is no season pass, there is a pre-order bonus called "Heroes of the Last Jedi". But don't be confused. Even if you buy the game later, you can still play as Kylo, Rey, and the Millennium Falcon ... but if you pre-order the game, you'll get exclusive access to some customizations for those three. - Also, there are two versions of the game available for purchase, the basic game, and a Deluxe edition that gives you some fun extras (for an extra $20): Access to play Star Wars Battlefront II on November 14—a 3-day head start Upgraded versions of all 4 trooper classes (Officer, Assault, Heavy, and Specialist) 4 epic ability upgrades—one for each trooper class Instant weapon unlocks and weapon modifications for each trooper class - It's assumed that the 8 planets in Battlefront are returning -- Bespin, Death Star, Endor, Hoth, Jakku, Scarif, Sullust, and Tatooine. But they also showed off several other locations -- Yavin-4, Kamino, Mos Eisley (which is technically Tatooine), and Starkiller Base ... as well as an entirely new planet called Vardos. - There is no confirmation yet ... but it is believed that there will be no more "coin pickups" scattered across the maps anymore, but instead the game will feature much more "Battlefield-style" vehicle and Hero spawning. This would probably be an improvement that would make MANY MANY fans happy, especially when you add in that they're going back to "classes" with specific roles. EDIT: Also, if you watched the teaser trailer and have seen the poster for "The Last Jedi", you know we haven't gotten a good look at Kylo's scar that Rey gave him. But on EA's website, the following image was posted (a in-game rendering of Kylo post-TFA). Some people speculate that this was an accident and that they were hiding Kylo's scar on purpose and EA just screwed it up a bit. http://i.imgur.com/bCAUb1S.png
  9. You do multiplayer missions and send strike teams. If successful, you get some rewards that benefit you in single player. Items and credits basically.
  10. I've been doing Singularity > Overload > Incinerate. Singularity is easily an OP skill and sets up so many other skills for combos. I've almost got Overload maxed out though, as I'm playing my character as sort of a "Dark Jedi" archetype
  11. There is a large cache of stuff on your way OUT of the first Remnant place. But you have to grab it on the run out of there.
  12. Personally, I don't understand the mixed reviews. The game seems massive in scope, like previous entries in the series. The combat system is far more fun, mobile, and fun. And unlike several games in the last 5 years, it doesn't lead you around by the nose, but instead emphasizes the fun and adventure of exploration. Andromeda above all the other entries in the series really does seem to be more about exploration, which fits, since you're in a whole new galaxy and everything is unknown. For me, the game is awesome and I'm definitely glad I spent the money on it.
  13. Even if you bought a TON of chaos chests and gem booster boxes, the essentials pack, and unlocked all the purchase-able equipment, mounts, wings, costumes, etc from the store ... you'd still need to get at least one character to level 30. Even with Patron status, that would take over 100 hrs. I bought the Essentials Pack (giving me 2 weeks of Patron as well as a bunch of other stuff), and I've already played over 100 hours and I'm still only level 27 on my main. I have messed around with a half dozen of the other characters, but none of them are more than level 10. And even with 100 hours of play, I'm only about 80 Mastery (with all three professions maxed, all fish that are currently catchable in the console version, and nearly all hat/face/staff styles collected (except for radiant ones). Getting to 300 Mastery will take a LONG time. I'd be surprised if someone who never spent a dime on this game could do it in less than 500 hours.
