  1. Yeah the final fight is completely over hyped.

  4. So let me get this straight. You think UVHM is too hard even though they made it specifically for "Hardcore players" and you dislike they fixed glitches in the game. I am confuse.

  8. Yeah to be honest 1999 mode is not as "Hardcore" as the devs made it out to be. Enemies are still the same and follow the same patterns. When you create a new difficulty you are supposed to mix up enemy spawns otherwise it becomes just as predictable as before. Not to mention the shield they give you is too strong. Hardcore mode should have disabled the shield, increase vigor cost, and change enemy spawns. Not to mention the final fight gives out 100% salts like fucking candy.
  9. Gear is random to a certain point. Each "Gear spawn" pulls from a certain pool of items. For example when I fought the 3rd Handyman he would only drop certain items even though I only had like 3 unlocked. However some gear spawns can pull almost any item which is why I use reload checkpoint in order to make sure I get the gear I need. If you are not doing a speed run and are collecting everything then you should have the gear required anyway, in any event reloading checkpoints is the best way to go.

  11. Upgrades Used Charge Aid - 1614 - Bought before reaching downtown area. Shotgun Damage 1 and 2 - Bought at the start of the "Hand of the Prophet" chapter since I had extra cash. Gear Used Brittle Skin - Obtained in Battleship Bay Chapter - You can reload this checkpoint as many times as you want until you get it. There are two but I only picked up one since it was faster. Burning Halo - Obtained at Entry to Hall of Heros(Peking side) - You can reload this checkpoint until you get it Overkill - Entry to Hall of Heros(Wounded Knee side) - You can reload this checkpoint(after finishing Peking side) until you get it. Winter Shield - Return to the Gondola - You can reload this checkpoint(you need to activate the Gondola before the door will open) until you get the gear you need. Added to OP as per request.
  12. I disagree with this. Vigors are the most important resource at your disposal and shield only doubles after putting 10 points into it which on 1999 ode will absorb an extra 1-2 seconds of gunfire.
