  1. AEW Grand Slam was great. All the title matches were solid or amazing, but I think this ended up getting the biggest crowd reaction of the night
  2. Anyone here finish Season 4 of Stranger Things yet? I personally really enjoyed this season. I would even go as far to say it might be the best season of the series so far! It's not very often you see that sort of praise on a later season of a television series, but I enjoyed just about everything in it. The special effects were amazing, and you can tell Netflix put alot of effort and budget into making this feel almost movie quality with the CGI and other effects. Even though they expanded the cast, it didn't feel too bloated, and it seemed like everyone got a chance for some growth and character development. I especially how all the villains from the previous arcs ties together with the main villain of the season (Vecna). Really excited to see what they have planned for season 5, especially with how Season 4 ended. Also RIP .
  3. Late to the party but just wanted to say congrats to team Let's Dance for the win (and team And Shepherds We Shall Be for the valiant effort as well). Seeing of of the scores in the end had my jaw dropped. Didn't think it was possible to score that much in a span of about 4 weeks! That's some serious dedication right there!
  4. Don't really know what else is worth watching this season but pretty happy with the shows I am already watching anyways: Spy x Family (First episode was fantastic and definitely excited to continue it this season) The Rising of the Shield Hero S2 Kaguya-sama: Love is War S3 Komi Can't Communicate Pt 2 Tomadachi Game Also gotta catch up on shows that were added to CR from Funimation after the merger like Wonder Egg Priority, S8 The Infinity. and Life Lessons with Uramichi Oniisan.
  5. Big E took a pretty nasty bump during his match last week on SD. Looks like he got a few fractures, but no major damage and doesn't require surgery, which is good news all things considered! Unfortunately there was also some sad news today in the wrestling world: Love how Jericho manages to reinvent himself time and time again: Wow what an insane Dynamite we got this week!
  6. Pretty excited for this. Would love to see him feud with Bryan Danielson or Adam Cole (BAY BAY!) for his return. Edit: Forgot there hasn't been much activity here lately, but on the WWE side I will say I'm rather disappointed (but not surprised in the least bit) at how Big E lost his championship belt at Day One and basically got treated like an afterthought with the attention being on Lesnar and Lashley for the Royal Rumble. Then you have folks like Toni Storm leaving WWE a couple weeks ago along with Mustafa Ali just recently asking for his release. Makes you think just how many stars will be left by the end of the year. They're already having to use a Raw superstar (Rollins) as the next challenger for Reigns because there just isn't really that many options left.
  7. 2021 was a stacked year for anime. Arguably the best year of anime for me since I started getting back into anime around 2014. There were alot of great shows that came out this year, so getting my list down to a top 10 this year was actually pretty difficult, and trying to rank them was even harder. I think most of the anime on my top 10 could have been my top anime of the year if they were released in previous years. That being said this is my personal top 10 anime of 2021: 1) Mushoku Tensei: Isekai Ittara Honki Dasu 2) Odd Taxi 3) Fumetsu no Anata e 4) Kimetsu no Yaiba: Yuukaku-hen / Kimetsu no Yaiba Movie: Mugen Ressha-hen 5) Ousama Ranking 6) Tokyo Revengers 7) Horimiya 8 ) Komi-san wa, Comyushou desu 9) Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken S2 10) Dr. Stone: Stone Wars That being said, there were alot of honorable mentions and ones that I was debating adding to my top 10 but didn't quite make the cut for one reason or another. These include Attack on Titan: The Final Season (which I didn't include since it was still incomplete), Jujutsu Kaisens second cour (even though that was a great arc), Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu 2nd Season Part 2, Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon S, Beastars S2, Otome Game no Hametsu Flag shika Nai Akuyaku Reijou ni Tensei shiteshimatta... X, Nomad: Megalo Box 2, 5-toubun no Hanayome ∬, Zombieland Saga: Revenge, Ijiranaide, Nagatoro-san, Mairimashita! Iruma-kun S2, and Isekai Shokudou 2. I know there were probably a bunch of new shows I missed out on that were really great as well, so I look forward to checking them out along with all the other great new anime in 2022!
  8. Wow that's quite the list, but the one that I'm most surprised by was Nia Jax since I was almost 100% certain she would never be let go, especially since that never happened during the numerous times she injured other wrestlers and showed herself to be a dangerous worker who shows little knowledge and natural ability for wrestling over the years.
  9. Kind of disappointed we aren't able to see Jon Moxley versus The American Dragon Bryan Danielson because of this, but glad to see he's getting the help he needs. At least Bryan Danielson will get his 2018 Money in the Bank rematch against Miro on Rusev Day.
  10. That was a great Casino ladder match. No surprise who the Joker was, but glad to see him back in the active roster again! The WWE draft was pretty good too. Nothing too surprising but it'll be interesting to see some of the new rivalries build up as a result of it.
  11. Speaking of last season. What were you fav shows from the last season? Tokyo Revengers was great, and so was Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid (was so glad to see that show return). The second half of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime was enjoyable as well, and I'm excited to see where that series goes from here. Can't forget about To Your Eternity as well, which might end up as one of the best anime of the year! Edit: Oh I forgot to add the rest of MHA, Demon School and the second season of My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!. Overall a pretty decent season of anime imo!
  12. Bobby Fish formerly of NXT? I didn't even realize he was signed with AEW. Was Rhodes to the Top any good? Not a fan of those reality shows so I didn't bother watching, but heard mixed things about it. This weeks Dynamite was pretty good. Didn't expect to see a title change to happen, especially with how unbeatable Miro was looking as the TNT champ, but it makes sense to book it the way they did to end the show which was dedicated to Brodie Lee. Hopefully Sammy has a long title run as the new TNT champ.
  13. What a fantastic episode of Dynamite this week. That first match was amazing, and definitely a PPV caliber match. I'm sure that wasn't the last time we'll see these 2 in the ring! The women's title match was also great as well, and it's great seeing ex-WWE stars really show off what they couldn't in WWE.
  14. Yeah, definitely seems like AEW has picked up alot of momentum since All Out, and that shows in the ratings where Dynamite has beaten RAW now twice. Will definitely be interesting to see how both shows go next week. Also surprised no one has talked about this yet: Happy to see Big E finally get the big title after being with the company for so many years. However I can't help but feel like this was rushed simply as a response to AEW's success, and I wouldn't be surprised if the same thing happens to Big E as it did with Kofi during his title run. At least the New Day are back together again!
  15. Yeah I can't think of any other PPV this year that even comes close to All Out last night. Pretty much every match was amazing (especially the tag team match in the cage) in delivering an action packed match with great storytelling, and we got to see several wrestling debuts that were rumoured including Ruby Soho, Adam Cole (BAY BAY) and Bryan Danielson! BAY BAY!
