  1. :francis: Form a team and join us for XBA's GSL Twist 2018! :francis:
  2. Haven't seen you in a long time. Hope all is well... not sure if you're alright or around. We all miss you!

  3. I miss you Spiral :( :(

  4. Yeah, there aren't too many tower defense games on the One that I know of. The only ones that come to the top of my head atm are Defense Grid 2 and Monkey King Saga, except those are closer to traditional tower deafness games whereas Castle Invasion and Krinkle Krusher are a bit more different from that formula. All fun games though.

  5. November Greetings, Spiral!

[GSL 15] is launching soon and we'd love to see you on board! You'll find the participation requirements, sign up and general discussion thread links in the first post of the [Announcement Thread]. 6. Hey thank you! Sorry I only just seen this message haha.

  7. I would buy more digitally, but I also gameshare with a friend of mine who lives where I used to live, so we came up with a deal that if we both wanted a game, we'd each go halfsies on it, and then one of us would give money to the other person, who'd then download it for both of us. But, I'm a stickler when it comes to games, so I stick with hard copies, unless it's a game we both plan on playing together. Then it makes more sense to go halfsies. :)

  8. Yeah, it only started in the past couple of years, but it's already taken on a storm of its own. Plus our Amazon does Black Friday deals. So I just use that instead. Saves getting trampled. :D

I'll give it a shot this weekend, since I've got nothing to do. I'll let you know how long it took me, haha :p

I actually really dislike the modern shooters like Gears and Halo. I'll play an old school style shooter any day though. Running about frantically trying to find a bit of health while strafing and shooting at enemies...... Ahhh, they really don't make them like they used to. Saying that, Doom was MASSIVE fun. A real trip down memory lane. :)

(bloody word restriction... tbc. XD )

  9. I'm not really sure why I transitioned to buying everything digitally lately, to be honest. Hmm! Probably just the convenience of downloading anything you want, when you want it, and playing it right away? I used to go to GameStop and get games all the time, but now, the last physical game I got was my pre-order of Fallout 4. Doing everything digitally has ruined me lol. :( I do miss the physical copy days, as you could go and trade them in and get a few bucks off of your next game, haha. :p

  10. Wow, I didn't know that you have Black Friday there now too! Well, on behalf of America, I apologize for the craziness that you must now endure lol. :p I definitely advise to stay indoors and definitely, under no circumstances, never attempt to go within 2 miles of a retail store or shopping mall that day. :francis:

Yayyy, I'm happy you got Ben-Hur! Let me know how that goes. :) It's not great, but it's hard to turn down a free/easy 1000:1gs:. :D

Since you do like racing games, Ben-Hur will be a breeze for you. :) I like some shooters, I'm kind of weird with that lol. I've never cared for games like CoD, Battlefield, Gears etc but I really enjoyed the shooting action in games like Wolfenstein and Metro Redux. I also really enjoyed the atmosphere and story in those games though, so maybe that had more to do with it? I'm not sure. The shooting was fun though! :D

  11. No, I actually haven't played Krinkle Krusher yet!! I've heard of the title, but never knew what the gameplay was about. Well now I'm going to check that out, so thank you for the suggestion! :D If you think of any others, or anything in general that you particularly liked, feel free to throw it my way lol. :) I'm up to play pretty much anything, except for sports games, haha. :p

  12. Have you played Krinkle Krusher yet? That's another game that's quite similar to Castle Invasion except you play as a sentient glove and use magic to defend your base rather than conventional weapons like bows and sling shots :D

  13. Yeah, the sad thing is, even though we don't have Thanksgiving, the last couple of years we've had "Black Friday", and it's been as bad as it gets over there. :/

I've got Ben Hur, just need to find time to play it now. More than likely this weekend, so I'll let you know how I get on. :D

Oh cool. I do like racing games, though admittedly I've not been playing them for a while. I used to play pretty much nothing but racing games and shooting games. Back when shooting games required brains, haha :p

And thanks. It's just always bugged me that I've not had them as physical copies. I'm old school, so I'm going to keep buying real games until I'm forced to do otherwise. :wall:

  14. That really is a shame. I quite enjoyed Sleeping Dogs as well.
