  1. GFWL is kinda alive yet. I'm currently playing Fallout 3 GOTY and getting achievements in it. As for not caring where the game is... well, it's your choice. But those games are getting more and more rare. Sorry once again for starting this thread in the first place. I seem to have misunderstood the main topic of this forum.
  2. I'm not saying that Steam is bad or whatever. I've just noticed that Origin is not mentioned here at all, so I've put together a list of GFWL games there. Might be useful for someone.
  3. Tried it, it works fine with some games, but I was unable to play some games with more advanced graphics like God of War. I also use nds4droid to play some Nintendo DS games. It's pretty good and it's free.
  4. I'm playing on Nexus 7 as well (used to play on 2012 version; now I have 2013). If you have v2012 of the tablet (with Tegra 3 processor), I'd recommend installing TegraZone app. It lists Tegra-optimized games (so called THD). As for good games, I'd recommend the following: Bard's Tale Shadowrun Returns Another World (all these aren't free, but all are good, and all are PC ports) If you're into CCG and love Dragon Age series, you can try Heroes of Dragon Age. It's a freemium game, it has some issues, but devs are trying to make it as good as possible.
  5. I've been trying to boost my Gamerscore on PC/Android. Reading these forums I've been wondering why are you guys ignoring EA's own Origin store. For now, I was able to find only a few GFWL games there: Bulletstorm (LINK) Resident Evil™: Operation Raccoon City (LINK) Super Street Fighter® IV Arcade Edition (LINK) I know that at least Bulletstorm is available on Steam as well. The issue is - Steam version in not available in some regions. As for myself, I keep getting "This item is currently unavailable in your region" when I try to open Bulletstorm page on Steam, but on Origin it opens just fine. Same with Street Fighter. I think this deserves a bit of further investigation. Sorry, if I shouldn't have started a new thread for this.
  6. Not sure I've understood you correctly. Are you saying the game is not supporting GFWL any more, or are you referring to FPS Warriors Bundle. 'Cause I'm considering buying that bundle to get Section 8.
  7. Nooo... I keep hearing about all those GFWL games becoming unplayable. That's sad. My hopes were high for Halo.
  8. Wikipedia says that no new players can enter the game now. Too bad, this would boost my Gamerscore. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Age_of_Empires_Online
  9. According to Joystiq, Bethesda removed the need to enter the GFWL code, but the game remains on GFWL. http://www.joystiq.com/2014/01/08/fallout-3-removing-games-for-windows-live-support-drm-on-steam/ Knowing how short is Bethesda games' support cycle, I doubt they'll ever remove GFWL completely. This would mean they have to port the game to Steam achievements system.
