  1. Thanks for the clarification. Everything I saw indicated that was it but thought maybe the articles just hadn't been updated with everything yet in an effort to be first with anything about it. You know, like regular news sites do lol.
  2. Yeah, a PC or laptop would definitely be fine. I just don't see too many games actually working well on a tablet for instance. I missed the briefing but there's not any advantage other than letting you play it on a different device and/or screen is there?
  3. I just saw something about this on Twitter. It basically sounds like the Vita's remote play feature except of course the Vita would be easier to use because really, who wants to do their gaming on nothing but a touch screen device? PC? Sure. Nothing but touch screen? No thanks.
  4. You should use the official topics for your purposes. http://www.xboxachievements.com/forum/showthread.php?t=579267 http://www.xboxachievements.com/forum/showthread.php?t=595420
  5. Hello, yeah I think most people played it and moved on pretty quickly. I haven't played the game much myself but I would say that you're correct in that those are the only achievements that require an online game, though it would have been nice if the person doing the achievement guide and roadmap had put in a section for those achievements like most people do. I would say that most likely you're correct in that all 4 accounts would need to have gold. Your best bet might be to wait to try the online achievements until they have a free gold weekend like they do sometimes or you get one of those 48 hour gold cards in a game.
  6. You'll want to use the official boosting topic for this which is the first topic in this forum. Or you can follow this link - http://www.xboxachievements.com/forum/showthread.php?t=577371
  7. The mechanics and gameplay might be pretty good with Cryptic doing it. As someone that played DCUO and City of Heroes/Villains I can honestly say I much preferred City of Heroes/Villains as it had a better superhero game feel to it than DCUO does. Though given everything WoTC have done to D&D since they bought it tempers my enthusiasm.
  8. Thanks for clarifying about the checklists. Always had it stuck in my head that 5 posts were needed for some reason, even though that doesn't make sense given they're separate sides of the site.

  9. No, it doesn't link because xboxachievements.com doesn't pull data on individual users from xbox servers.
  10. Hello again, the answer to your question can be found in your first topic found here - http://www.xboxachievements.com/forum/showthread.php?p=6515357#post6515357 It was moved to the FAQ section since that's what it pertained to as opposed to the console specific 360 forum section.

  12. Welcome to the site. You need 5 non-spam posts to do certain things such as edit your profile and use the checklists. If I'm thinking of the correct feature then there's kind of a checklist walkthrough that can be found here - http://www.xboxachievements.com/forum/showthread.php?t=233413
  13. While I do see what you're saying in this topic you do pretty much state your opinion as fact. You also do make it sound like someone is forcing you to get the achievements when the only person doing so is you. Because of both of those things you will get some of the responses you've gotten so far, anyone would. And I'm sorry but I would have to ask, if he's not worth talking to why do you keep responding to him? Uh yeah, this is why you're getting some of the responses you are. You state you want the game developer to keep in mind not everyone has a lot of time each day. Basically you're wanting them to cater how they make the game to suit your play style. You're not directly saying that but you are indirectly saying that. Both of you are allowed to share your opinion of course, it's when you present your opinion as fact, and worse, state your opinion as fact in such a way you expect others, such as the game developers, to either share your opinion or change the way they do things because of just your opinion that is going to get you, or anyone else, called out for acting like an entitled gamer. Fact and opinion are not the same thing, never have been and never will be. They may be to you but most people realize there's a difference and you're stating it as fact in such a way you expect others to fall in line and just agree with you. Facts are facts, rain is wet, dry concrete is hard, etc. An opinion is never a fact no matter what and should never be presented that way. Otherwise you get the responses you've received in this topic. The difference is I can say a particular month's GWG are shit and demand better. That presents my opinion as fact and clearly states each month should be perfectly catered to my desires. I'm sure that's probably not what how you're trying to present your case. After all, disagreeing is their right. Though personally I would never actually say that
  14. Well at least you're not going around posting "Thanks for the guide" on every achievement guide around. That's what new members are for
  15. You will want to post in the official boosting topic found here - http://www.xboxachievements.com/forum/showthread.php?t=571114
  16. The servers are still up according to this topic - http://www.xboxachievements.com/forum/showthread.php?t=402493 There's a boosting topic you can post in to get help that can be found here - http://www.xboxachievements.com/forum/showthread.php?t=572397

  18. Given you're trying it on your Xbox 360 or your phone I'd say it's more the browser you're using combined with the ad. Feedback about ads can be posted here - http://www.xboxachievements.com/forum/showthread.php?t=551322 Have you tried accessing the site from a browser on an actual PC?
  19. Technically just about every game has an achievement that requires you to play a certain way. Get x kills with a particular weapon or weapon type. What if you don't like that weapon? Complete a romance with a character. What if you don't like any of the characters? Complete all side quests or find all collectibles. What if they're boring to you and you're not naturally inclined to be thorough? Complete the majority of the game with x squad member. What if you don't find that person useful? Some of those are shorter than what you're talking about and some of them are longer. But in one form or another there are achievements like that, achievements that require you to play a certain way, in a huge number of games.
  20. Yeah, if it's a name you like I'd go ahead and grab it if I were you. Either change your current one or just create a new GT and change it from the default name you're assigned. Granted the second option means spending $10 per GT if you ever want to put the name on your main GT but at least you'd have the name reserved. The second option is what I did this week when I created a new PSN ID and I went on and created a GT with it too.
  21. I think 8+ months is probably long enough to leave this unfinished. I've taken the information that I provided that was never put into the original post to fill in the gaps and combined it with the original post into this post. As posted by JuSt BLaZe in the Xbox One version, you can combine gems in different slots with similar effects to get improved results. To craft an oculi, you simply need to combine multiple stones to create a new, different type. You can increase the quality of a stone type by combining three like stones together: 3 x Rough = Tumbled 3 x Tumbled = Faceted 3 x Faceted = Brilliant You can also combine the stones in different ways, allowing you to create a new type of stone with an increased rarity. The available combinations are listed below: Sapphire + Ruby = Amethyst Sapphire + Emerald = Tourmaline Ruby + Emerald = Citrine Sapphire + Ruby + Emerald = Diamond Amethyst + Tourmaline + Citrine = Onyx Diamond + Onyx = Spinel Brilliant Diamond + Brilliant Onyx + Brilliant Spinel = Princess Stone Effects Oculi can be equipped to affect your attack, armour, or timeline. The quality of the stone will affect how strong the effect is. The changing values are marked in Orange, and the values for this number can be seen in the brackets, which list in order of Rough, Tumbled, Faceted & Brilliant. You can find a list of these effects below: Sapphire: Attack: Add Water to Melee Damage and increase attack power by X%. Water is strong on Fire, Weak on Lightning. (0%, 8%, 12%, 16%) Armour: Increase Water damage resistance by X%. (8%, 14%, 18%, 24%) Timeline: Additional X% chance of evading an attack while casting. 23. Same. Just achievements unlocking later than they normally would but I can probably count on one hand the number of times that happened.
  24. I seriously doubt it given they've said before that games are games regardless if they're [email protected] games or big budget retail games.
  25. Affinity boosters would be your best bet and whatever weapons you need to level for the achievements still. You probably know this already but I would just buy 1 weapon per type at a time though since if you they hit level 30 during the mission complete screen you'll unlock the proficiency and mastery achievements for whatever weapon type, or sentinel, hit level 30 at that point.
