  1. Am I the only one who has noticed that the only arcade games that get new achievements when the game gets updated are the free to play games. I think it's absolute crap that games that I don't pay any money for like World of Tanks and Warface are constantly getting new achievements, while games that I pay just as much as a retail game costs for, such as Minecraft and Terraria never get new achievements, even though they have been updated several times and have several new achievements that could be added. I think that If I pay $20 for a arcade game, I should get more than 400:gsicon: in that game.
  2. I don't like how you can't choose the chapters in arcade co-op. In Gears 2 you could so it was made much easier. If I want to do a certain chapter I now have to quit and look for that certain chapter... Any other thoughts/opinions?
  3. I think Classy Ninja is the hardest achievement in the whole game in my opinion. It's just when they throw around 5 bombs on screen and there's like two or three fruits in the middle of them all, the only option is to lose D: I hate that difficulty curve. My highest score is 230, but now my scores are around 100-130. Yes I try to line up my slices to get the extra 3 or 4 points, but it never helps. Can anyone who has gotten this achievement give some tips or a guide of some sort? Also, if I'm not mistaken, Triple Stack has to be done in Arcade mode and is somewhat luck based, right? Is there any definitive way to get them all to appear or is it completely random?
  4. This game is hilarious on the way. You get countless life's and enemies that keep on coming. You get cool weapons through out the game and awesome vehicles to control. You can blow up buildings, and save people that gives you upgrades. Your melee weapon is a knife and you can cut your enemies in half lol.
  5. So I am currently without Internet and will be for the time being, so I was looking for something to play offline and busted out SSFIV (with AE DLC). I popped the disc in and the developer logos came up, then the opening cinematic. I pushed to skip and the title screen came up. The announcer started to yell the title and I pressed and BAM! Frozen! I got up, turned off the 360, and checked the disk. A couple of minor scratches, nothing unusual, so I gave it a cleaning and went through the exact same process. Frozen again. Immediately upon pressing So, I installed the game. Same thing. Restarted the 360. This time I let the whole opening play, watched the demo fights, just to see what happens. As soon as I press Frozen! I'm completely lost here. Is it a simple as my being offline? It worked fine before today. Has anyone else had this problem or a similar one? Any ideas on how to fix this?
  6. I'm thinking of buying one. But I'm hesistant to fork over a lot of money. To the owners of one of these, do you find it worth it? And to everyone else, do you think these sticks will work on the next xbox console that comes out in a few years? Hope the sticks will work with other games like Marvel vs Capcom 3 and Tekken 6. Using the xbox 360 controller for SSFIV sucks. The gamepad isn't much better.
  7. http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2011-05-12-mortal-kombat-arcade-kollection-confirmed Looks like it's not a PS3 exclusive after all, thank god.
  8. see title. will there be multiplayer, maybe not for the campaign, but how about arcade/fight till dawn? that would be so great! i dont like playing firefight-type games alone... but ya, any type of multiplayer would be accepted!
  9. I trolled through and didn't see any threads on this game. I picked it up on a whim, and it's been fun. A little frustrating at times, but all in all a blast. If you've picked this up from Arcade and have all the achievements, please don't hesitate to share!
  10. Sorry if this has been asked before, but just curious if it counts towards ranking up in MP?
  11. The new Arcade Console has an HDMI slot on the back. Does the bundle come with an HDMI cable? If not, will the Component HD Cable from my old Pro console work with it? Many Thanks.
  12. (Ok, not a competition as such, but would be fun to get other people's ideas on this and we can decide on the best list at some point.) Anyway, I think they should release another Xbox Live Arcade Unplugged disc. But what titles should they put on it?? So far the arcade disk that comes with the arcade console has: Feeding Frenzy Pac-Man CE Luxor 2 Boom Boom Rocket Uno And the Xbox Live Arcade Unplugged disk has: Bejewled 2 Geometry Wars Evolved Wik: Fable Of Souls Texas Hold 'Em Poker Outpost Kaloki X Hardwood Backgammon So, we need 6 classic titles to put on the new disk. They've gotta be slightly different to any of the other compilations out there, Here's my list, designed to be fun and of a wide range of games: 3D Ultra Minigolf Assault Heroes 2 Bankshot Billiards 2 Cloning Clyde Sensible World Of Soccer Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 So there ya go. There's mine. Think you've got a better list??? Post it here!
  13. all i need is the co-op achievement in scramble to have a full 200 but noone plays online anymore anyone want to help a fellow gamer out thatnks alot ill be waiting in the lobby GAMERTAG TheCrimson1028
  14. Does anyone know what the price will be? I know it comes out the same day the new season starts (Oct 7), but I couldnt find a price.
  15. Ok, so I'm trying to get 'Socialite' the easy way by using two controllers, but everytime I start a game, it keeps pausing like straight away, I 'resume game' but goes back to the pause menu? Any ideas why this is happening? Also, I'm trying to get the 'Friend & Foe' and 'Wired' achievements, but NO ONE is ever on Xbox Live playing Sudoku. Can anyone help me? My GT is BecKyyyKoRnGiRl. Please only add me if you're willing to help with these achievements. Thank you guys! Much appreciated

Simply complete Episode 1. This achievement is slightly glitched. I would suggest completing the episode by yourself, then if the achievement does not unlock, reload your last auto-save and come back here to read the guide. *SPOILER WARNING* In the final puzzle of Episode 1, tell the Soda Poppers to "Become...Brady Culture!" Then tell them to "Worship...me!" Then tell them to "Attack...me!" If you tell them to attack the videotapes instead of "me", the episode will end, but the achievement will not unlock. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/981/-o-xBw==.jpgSituation: Comedy 20 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.jpg Complete Episode 2 - "Situation: Comedy". Simply complete all 6 episodes. This is the only achievement that requires playing more than one episode. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/981/+ZXqhA==.jpgUnicornucopia 10 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.jpg Heard 10 different comments about your unicorn. In Episode 6, on the moon, you get the unicorn after talking with Superball. After that, you need to use the unicorn on several characters to hear their comments. The description for this achievement is a bit misleading. You need to use your unicorn on ELEVEN different people to unlock the achievement, even though Lincoln doesn't actually say anything when you use it on him. When you go through the locked door at the top of the rainbow elevator in the Blister of Tranquility, you watch a cut scene where an event called the Great Bliss-ification occurs. Much of the game world changes after this event, so be sure to use the unicorn on the required characters as soon as possible. Also, you need to listen to the whole comment after using the unicorn. If you skip the dialogue with the http://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n61/obehave_wan/Xbox%20360%20button%20images/b.png button, it won't count. Here are the eleven characters that you need to use the unicorn on. I put them in the order that they are available after getting the unicorn, and I would suggest doing them in this order to make sure that you don't miss any. On the moon's surface: 1. Max. 2. Superball (outside the entrance to the Blister of Tranquility). 3. Harry (in front of the gift shop). On the Earth: 4. Sybil (in her office, must be done before the Great Bliss-ification). 5. Jimmy Two-Teeth (hanging on to the bent parking meter, this must be done before using the spoon-bend talisman on the bent meter). 6. Bosco (in his shop). In the Blister of Tranquility main room: 7. Lincoln (to the right of the entrance, must be done before the Great Bliss-ification). 8. C.O.P.S. (below the entrance). 9. Philo Pennyworth (on the far right of the room). In the Blister of Tranquility upper room: 10. Crystal (after the Great Bliss-ification cut scene, Hugh Bliss will be above you inside of a crystal). 11. Hugh Bliss (at the end of the episode, Hugh Bliss will trap Sam in a series of magic devices, and you need to use the unicorn on Hugh at some point during this final puzzle). http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/981/+HUSFw==.jpgImproviser 10 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.jpg In Episode 2, achieve six different cow identities that Mr Featherly will play along with. On the set of "Midtown Cowboys" (the second room in the television studio), your objective will be to use an item on the cow, then choose an identity that fits the disguise. If Mr Featherly plays along, he will start talking to the cow. You then need to break the scene so that you can do the other disguises. The easiest way to break the scene is to talk to Mr Featherly. The three items needed are the shaving cream (already in your inventory), the plate (on the table to the far right of the set), and the lampshade (on the lamp to the right of the cow). Here are the six item/identity combinations: 1. Shaving cream, My aging uncle Griswold. 2. Plate, A saint. 3. Plate, A circus performer. 4. Lampshade, Abraham Lincoln. 5. Lampshade, The Prince of Upper Thrombosis. 6. Lampshade, Our chef. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/981/+lQbog==.jpgMaster Whacker 10 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.jpg In Episode 3, get a perfect score on Whack-Da-Ratz. You don't need to hit every rat target, you just need to get at least 20 points. You need 20 points to advance the story, so this achievement is mandatory. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/981/UP4NRgk=.jpgEaster Bunny 10 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.jpg In Episode 4, find the Easter Egg. After Max becomes president, you can change the date on the calendar to his right in the Oval Office. Change it to Easter, then listen to the dialogue between Sam and Max. Max refers to hiding eggs on the lawn. Go outside and look in the golf hole (under the "9" flag). Like the fourth-wall-breaking joke implies, it is an item that is completely useless to gameplay. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/981/-U4AIQ==.jpgMightier than the Sword 10 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.jpg In Episode 5, attempt to chop up everything in the text adventure with your +2 sword. At the end of Episode 5, the game becomes a text adventure (no pictures). There are four areas: the area you start in, to the east of where you start, to the northwest of where you start, and down from where you start. There are nine items that you need to use your +2 sword on. In the starting area: 1. Use...+2 sword...with Respect for Living Things. 2. Use...+2 sword...with Internet. 3. Use...+2 sword...with Max (can be done in any area). In the east area: 4. Use...+2 sword...with Bosco's. In the northwest area: 5. Use...+2 sword...with Overly Cute Kittens. 6. Use...+2 sword...with Nauseating Lake. 7. Use...+2 sword...with Jewel-Encrusted Idol. 8. Use...+2 sword...with Rare Foil Card. In the down area: 9. Use...+2 sword...with Corporate Presence.
  17. Anyone got any recommendations? Im looking for a easy selection if possible. No insanity like D:CrashCourse Already done Harms Way. ~Peace~
  18. I've tried using the cheats from the original Banjo Tooie but when I do it says saving will be stopped. Does that mean I won't be able to save at all or only when the cheat is on? Anyone else have this problem? -Edit- I wasn't sure where to put this, still getting used to using forums.
  19. I was thinking of getting Limbo, or that castlevania game coming out, but i'm not sure, any suggestions? thanks.
  20. I'm pretty casual when it comes to fighters. I love this game but it's really frustrating at times. I can't seem to get a grasp of challenge mode and I'm sucking pretty bad at legion mode. Would it possibly help if I used an arcade pad instead of the regular 360 controller? I've only used on once before but if it could help I'm willing to invest.
  21. Okay this game is a little alright. Any other ordinary shooting arcade game. Basically you just keep going straight and shoot and dodge enemies and fight bosses. It's free off the market place.
  22. Basically this game is actually fun. One of the best arcade games to play. Great thing about this game is just shooting the enemies and dodging their bullets, and using your special to wipe out anything you see.
  23. I've played a few matches online today and have seen "Downloaded Content" appear on the bottom left hand corner of some of the red apple cards. If you check under the Unlockables menu, you can see that there are 2 DLC packs listed, but, as far as I'm aware, they are unavailable at this time. Looking in the Marketplace confirms this. In addition, again in the Unlockables menu, you can press the button to redeem a code. There are 2 apple avatars (ninja and bumblebee) listed as being only available via a redeemable code. At first the selection on avatars made me think that this was somehow connected to the independent studio Ninja Bee, but poking around their forums didn't turn anything up. I'm having trouble finding any information about the XBLA version of Apples to Apples at all other than its' announcement and the release date. It's all very mysterious. Does anybody have any information on they can share.
  24. So I have noticed that a lot of games have been removed from the XBLA Marketplace, so a lot of these games can no longer be bought, thus making the achievements for things like online play unattainable for those with these games. If some of you know of games, play them, or are looking for a partner to help you get those last few Gamerscore points with, feel free to let me know. Some of the XBLA titles are : Paperboy and Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3. (Only ones I have that are unlisted that I know of.)
  25. To be honest, this game blew me away. First off, it's only 400 MS points and it's definitely well worth the five dollars. I'm still currently playing this and the fun factor is a 10/10 for me. The platform reminds me of an updated Toy Story for the SNES, which was amazing back in the day. Basically, the story of this game revolves around your character, 'The Green Kid' from the sour patch kids. The main goal is to be eaten by a human, but as you know, some sour patch kids aren't so lucky and get dropped between seats, floors, and other various places. That is where this journey begins... Cool story, right? Overall this game is pretty simple, since there is no difficulty setting. The levels just get harder as your progress through the game. I've had trouble on 1-2 levels towards the end, but nothing major. As for the achievements, they're extremely easy and you'll get 75% of them in a single playthrough of the game, or possibly 100% if you follow a guide or really take your time to find all of the 'secrets' hidden throughout the levels. But if you're like me and just run-through the game like a maniac and miss some achievements, there is a chapter select so don't be concerned. I have to say, this game is one of my favorites from the XBLA collection.
