  1. What I wanted to do was just mention the scale of community in both Fable 2 and 3. What I mean by that is that the players of both games reached both ends of the scale, they could be unbelievably helpful or just a hindrance, and I'd like to state just a couple of examples of my own and find out what experiences you have all had. My most favourable and memorable moments in Fable 2 and 3 was when I encountered really generous people. The first one was in Fable 2, when I was only around 14 or 15 and absolutely desperate to get a Red Dragon out of the shooting range, but I lacked the skill or patience to get it. I went onto the Lionhead Forums to try and find someone who would sell it to me. I didn't have much gold but was willing to give it all for the legendary pistol. After enduring endless online abuse by trolls saying "lol u suck" I eventually encountered a member who was willing to give it away for free. He had a spare one that he got from his friend and was willing to give it away. We exchanged gamertags and met in game at Bowerstone Market, he was American and just so cool about the whole thing. I was young and still pretty naive and expecting the experience to just go downhill somehow. I expected him to run off and shout in the distance "LOL WHAT AN IDIOT" and my Hero would be left standing there patting my dog to cheer me up. That didn't happen. The player gifted me the pistol and after I thanked him endlessly he said "No problem dude" and left. He even refused to take the gold I offered him. That was it, I had my favourite gun and still use it to this day. Eventually I did get it in the shooting range and now I have two... My other good experience would probably be in Fable 3, for the elusive Legendary Weapons. I was on the Lionhead Forums for HOURS trying to find someone who would either sell me them, or even just let me borrow them for the achievement. Eventually I did find someone who let me borrow them, again we exchanged gamertags and met in Bowerstone Market. He gifted all 50 Legendary Weapons to me (which took him AGES to send to me) and said "Here ya go dude, don't run away with them as that's happened to me already." No problem, I didn't want to be a tool so I gifted them all back after the achievement popped. Of course there are negative moments, what I didn't mention beforehand in my quest to find the Red Dragon is the reason WHY I didn't have much money to buy it. That can be explained by the endless con artists stealing gold from me. One in particular stung the most, as I met with one player (again from the LH forums) and he said the gun would cost 2 million gold, and I had to cough up the gold before getting the gun. Of course he ran away with my hard earned gold and it did mean to regain my losses I had to put prices up on my property, so the tenants and stall vendors that now hate me have that douche to blame for stealing all my cash! I could list others but they're all too similar, meet up with someone in exchange for weapons or Hero Dolls from Fable 2 and get totally ripped off. This prompted my "Trade ITEM First" policy in Fable 3 to save getting mugged. Anyway this rant went on for longer than anticipated, what experiences have you had with players on Fable 2 and 3? Did you encounter generous players who gave you free stuff? Or did you stumble upon con artists and muggers who steal your items or gold. Comment below!
  2. So every time I try for howler and repugnant achievements Im not awarded for it and I've tried tons of time but it doesnt work the only one that does is the hobbe one, and even when im with my friend it doesnt work, anyone got a suggestion?
  3. I have beat all the quests other than the collection ones for the gnomes, books and flowers. Not sure how I am supposed to get there, but there is an area to the southeast of Silverpines that has a yellow quest symbol on it,but I cant highlight it at all and cant fast trabel there. Anyone know how to access it? Also, there is another area north of Millfields that i can see,but cant highlight or anything,it just doesnt have a quest symbol in it.
  4. Ok, i have been about 60 hours in game. I Got all the books, gnomes, flowers, keys, clothes, and i have 980 in the game. All i needed is the 50 Weapons. I had 35/50 in the weapons, and out of no where I booted up my game and my guy was completely naked. I somehow lost all my clothes, weapons, awards, and everything. But yeah my game is complete. Somehow it brought Logan back too? I had him executed, but yet he is on my side. Also all the Road to Rule chest have been closed. When i already opened all of them. So I was wondering if someone can help me, by just Gifting all the Weapons? I would Gift them all back. Including a Large amount of Gold. Can someone please help me? My GT is Sonicbluespeed
  5. A few reasons I believe Fallout: New Vegas is better than Fable 3: * Health Meter * Multiple Saves * An actual inventory menu * Actual working Quest direction indicator * Better combat experience * Better conversations with NPC's * Better Story(a supported opinion) * dont express yourself to npc via rudimentary gestures such as farting or burping Anyone feel me or wanna add anything? P.S. I did beat Fallout 3 & fable 2 and enjoyed them both. I'm not comparing previous fallout or fables, just the new ones, although fable 2 was better than fable 3, but Fallout FTW. Thanks for adding to the list: Darthroker29, Surreal_82,

    Update WTF?

Just went on to play some Fable this morning and I got an update. So I installed the update and pressed start and it says my file from the last saved game is corrupt and the file cannot be loaded! Anyone else experiencing this?
  7. I figured out a easier way to get this achievement, it requires you to beat The Millfields in Dark Albion without getting hit. The easiest way to do this is to get all the upgrades for your character so you'll have the inner board unlocked and you MUST have the "Puppet beats Chicken" achievement as well. Simply play small mini-game levels or any level really to go roll your dice and land on the chicken icon on the inner board. This will give you the "Reflect damage" perk for about 2.5k. After getting this, go back to Millfields and even if you get hit, it will just damage the attacker instead of you. I've tested and confirmed this method personally! So, I know for sure it works!
  8. Fable the Journey box art was revealed a few days ago in facebook fable official page. http://www.teknoconsolas.es/files/images/noticias/FableTheJourney_BoxArt_LHS_Large-680x1024.png Greetings Fedeguitar
  9. ok so as the title suggests I am very much trying to get into RPGs and well just games in general and would like some help!! I'm 21 and have had consoles sine i was 11 but only ever really played football and racing games. I did quite enjoy Fable 2, haven't quite completed it but I'm sure I'll get round to it. I also got Halo 3 ODST and COD: WaW but although they're alright im still not very good (i played 4 online games of COD and got 3 kills) but I'm sure I shall improve. I basicly would like advise on decent games to go out and get, preferably a bit like fable, something i can have fun playin, not too complicated and maybe even with some enjoyable achievements. Nothin too new tho, i'm pretty broke
  10. So anyone who has the temple still available add me and we can get it. I also need several others , gargoyles, keys, confuse bandits, date, co-op expersion, property magnate ... GT: I ReactZ SEND ME AN FR AND MESSAGE

  13. Hi. I got the Night Blue dye (in the Mysterious Cave/ STF Addon), but for some reason it didn't save it/it's removed from items and the chest is opened/stays opened after reload. Nice bug... I played with a local henchman. Could that be the reason (my account was the leading char of course)? Seems like, I can't get it without trading/beginning a new game now... Any suggestions, or anyone, who would be so kind to trade it? I have every item and would give anything for it!!! My Gamertag: Cringer85

With it, three achievements, worth a total of 100 http://img401.imageshack.us/img401/8364/gpglk5.jpg, were released. There are two versions of the DLC: Premium and free. To unlock these achievements you need the Premium version which costs 800 MS points. This guide is meant to help you with those achievements. We hope it helps you getting what you need. ---------------------------------- 3) Achievement Road Map [arm] ---------------------------------- Estimated achievement difficulty: 4/10 Offline: 3 (100 http://img401.imageshack.us/img401/8364/gpglk5.jpg) Online: 0 Approximate amount of time to 100 : 4 - 6 Hours Minimum number of playthroughs needed: N/A Number of missable achievements: 0 Glitched achievements: No. Do cheat codes disable achievements?: No Cheats You should collect books while completing the main story and then go for the mystery items. Also, be sure to dig up every dig spot and pick up every little item as they can be needed to help getting the The Collector. For example, I for once got an Eternal Love Ring from a dig spot. ----------------------------- 4) Achievement Guide [acg] ----------------------------- 4.a) The Collector - 25 http://img401.imageshack.us/img401/8364/gpglk5.jpg [ag1] http://img125.imageshack.us/img125/3420/thecollectorvw0.jpg Acquire all the mystery items in The Box of Secrets shop, or see another Hero do so. For this achievement you need to get every item in The Box of Secrets shop in Knothole Island. You need to finish all three main quests before doing this otherwise not all the items will be available. Here is a list of every item needed, where to get it, its economy rating and the reward you get: Need: Regal Purple Dye Where to get: Traveling Dye Trader/Clothing Trader (Fairfax Garden) Economy Rating: ***** Reward: Brodican Mace Need: Crucible Peanuts(x2) Where to get: Crucible Food Trader Economy Rating: **** Reward: Chasm Outfit Need: Crunchy Chick(x3) Where to get: Food/Fish Trader (Westcliff/Bloodstone) Economy Rating: * Reward: Wretcher’s Blade Need: Lute(x2) Where to get: General Store Economy Rating: * Reward: Axe of Disharmony Need: Monk Robe(x1) Where to get: Oakfield Clothing Stall Economy Rating: *** Reward: Judge’s Steel Need: Murgo’s Big Book of Trading(x2) Where to get: Bowerstone Bookstore Economy Rating: * Reward: Brodican Warrior Queen Outfit Need: Pure Experience Extract(x1) Where to get: Bowerstone Market/Potion Trader (Fairfax Gardens) Economy Rating: ***** Reward: Hal’s Rifle Need: Diamond(x1) Where to get: Bowerstone Market Jeweler Economy Rating: ***** Reward: Staff of Wrath Need: Eternal Love Ring(x1) Where to get: Bowerstone Market Jeweler Economy Rating: ***** Reward: Greaser Wig Need: Marriage and How To Survive It(x1) Where to get: Bowerstone Market Bookstore Economy Rating: * Reward: Knothole Skirt Need: Pretty Necklace(x1) Where to get: Jeweler/ Gift Trader Economy Rating: *** Reward: Black Wheel Gang Outfit Need: Puny Carrot(x2) Where to get: Bowerstone Old Town (Food Stall) Economy Rating: ** Reward: Assassin Outfit Need: Table Wine(x2) Where to get: Bar Economy Rating: *** Reward: Cascading Hair Note: The economy rating of the items is very important in your quest to find the rarest items. The items the seller sells are equal to or one star lower than the region economy, so, a low rated region economy means low rated items in the shops. To raise the economy in a region simply put the prices in your shops under 0% and each time you are awarded the money from your shops the economy will raise a bit; to lower the economy, just put the prices over 0% or kill people from that region. Note 2: In Castle Fairfax you can find a diamond, Murgo's Big Book of Trading and a Pure Experience Extract in the regal bedroom inside chests, drawers and bookcases. 4.b) The Meteorologist - 50 http://img401.imageshack.us/img401/8364/gpglk5.jpg [ag2] http://img125.imageshack.us/img125/2409/themetereologistua7.jpg Bring all of Knothole Island’s weather problems under control, or help another Hero to do so. For this achievement simply complete all three main quests (after completing a quest, go anywhere but Knothole Island so that the game gives you the next quest) and after the final decision the achievement unlocks.
  15. I think alot of us used that little glitch to get alot of money in pub games, but I shall not be transferring that data into the final Fable 2 game as I believe it will totally ruin the experience. Millions of gold at the start of the game? YAWN. I want to earn that elusive castle to live in. What will everyone else be doing?
  16. Okay, so I can't get achievements. Sucks right? As I mainly got the game for the easy achievements. I bought a code from someone and I redeemed it. I got the full game and so I downloaded it. I didn't update it (which disconnects me from xbox live and patches the glitch) and so I started using the glitch. I got the 10g achievement which you get for unlocking a new game mode. But that is the ONLY achievement I can get. Also, I can't manage my character, etc. as it will say ''unlock the full game here'', but I've got the full version already! I checked whether I have the full game, when I check my game library it says it's the full version and it shows the achievements I've unlocked. Do I have to update the game and lose the ability of glitching, which means getting achievements less fast? I suppose you can all get the achievements... or can't you? I'd appreciate some help.
  17. This is an awesome glitch that one of my friends found that will alow you to get unlimited general experience, really useful for the completionist achievement. All you do is make sure you already have a few abilities and the use another controller to begin co-op. Make sure that you set the slider so the henchman gets no exp. Once in co-op push start on the second controller and go to abilities and from here sell them all (use the y button). Then get the henchman to quit the game and you will recieve all of their exp. As the henchman has the same abilities as you buy new ones each time as this will increase the amount of exp you get. Then you can repeat the process as many times as you like and you will become all powerful!!! Enjoy
  18. i think this has been asked b4 but cant find it. how do i get the items from the pub games. i merged the characters but i dont have them in my inventitory. any ideas??

Just wondering how the Dlc is and is it a little bit of a pain for these collectible achievements??? I think they are annoying but are these simple?
  25. The Question Thread Hi and welcome to the all new and improved Question Thread. Located on the thread will be FAQ and a place to ask questions when you really need help. Each topic will have its own subheading to indicate the information contained it in. To start for any weapon trading/achievements or guide see the sticky posted at the top of the forum. The DLC guide is located also at the top but in a different forum. FAQ Gold issues for saving the Kingdom. What is the countdown progress? Once you become king, you're given a task, which is to gather a certain amount of money in 365 "days". A "day" consists of a list of things to do; most of them are decisions to make about your kingdom. Every time you complete the list, you move forward in time. Note that the word "day" is inaccurate here - you can actually spend as many game-hours as you want to complete one "day". I actually raised a couple children while the countdown was still stuck at 365 days left. Now, "moving forward" in time goes as this. You start with 365 days left. Complete your list of things to do for that "day", and then time will pass... and you will be left with 339 days left. This will unlock another list of things to do. Complete the list, and you'll be suddenly left with 200-something days. The thing is, once the countdown reaches 121 days left: if you enter the throne room to make your first royal decision, you'll enter an inescapable (and inexplicable) chain of events that will lead to 0 days left and trigger the end of the main quest. If you don't have the requisite amount of money as you enter the throne room, you'll get the bad ending and millions of people will die. There's absolutely no way to guess that the 121 days left is the last limit where you can turn things around. The list of tasks is pretty mundane, there's no warning, nothing, and the auto-save will trigger as soon as you enter the throne room, with no chance to go back. What is the point of no return, when I cannot put more money in the sanctuary? 121 days to go is the point of no return. So if you don't have the gold do not progress with the main quest. My gold is under 6.5million and I want to save my kingdom what can I do? If you plan on making every good decision you will need 9.3 million. My days on the loading screen are going down now I am king/queen what do I do? The days do countdown but will restart once they hit zero if you do not do the main quest. My gold is way under the required amount, how can I make a few million? This is a simple process buy all shop no houses. If you buy shops rent will pour in, homes slowly waste away meaning you have to repair them. So avoid houses just buy shops. Leave your Xbox on for a few hours and you should have more than enough gold. In Game Issue’s When repairing my houses, one/some of them are mine but I cannot select them with A to repair them. What must I do? This can happen, instead of repairing them through the Map go to the house itself and interact with the sign outside the door. You should be able to repair it then. Can't progress during The Game Quest invite a friend into your game and you should be able to progress with the game. My trail is gone, and I don’t know where my next quest is!?" This can be a real pain but most people get this at some point. If you stand still for a few seconds, the trail will appear. Where do I meet with Elise/Elliot if I save them instead of the people? Click the link and all the information here. http://fable.wikia.com/wiki/Elise I have bought all the property/business in the game, but I am receiving little to no gold. What is wrong? Once the condition of a house reaches 0%, you will no longer collect rent for that property. You must repair each property individually for a small fee in order to begin collecting rent. Shops have no condition percentage and thus do not need to be repaired. Why are all civilians gone? You probably didn’t get enough money to save people so they're dead. After a few in game days/weeks they'll come back. Can I stop people joining my game at random? The very right room in the Sanctuary where Items can be bought from Jasper the right of the glowing sphere on the wall. There's an option to set it to invite only. Also view or hide players Orbs. How can I open this Demon door? The link below will have all the information you need for all the doors. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/f...29#post4036129 My Driftwood-achievement ''Island Paradise'' isn't unlocking. There are two possibilities: first one is that you haven't completed all quests required. There are four, Repair the bridge, Kill all hobbes scattered around the islands, Get a carpenter from Silverpines to go to Driftwood, Escort a man from Bowerstone Market to Driftwood If you're sure you did all this and you haven't unlocked the achievement yet, try sleeping somewhere. Otherwise, keep playing, it will unlock eventually. When repairing my houses, one/some of them are mine but I cannot select them with A to repair them. What must I do? This can happen, instead of repairing them through the Map go to the house itself and interact with the sign outside the door. You should be able to repair it then. Where do I unlock that door with the special key?? That I bought for 4000 gold? The key you buy for 4000 gold is used to open a door in the Shifting Sands which leads to a Gold Key. Search Google or YouTube where the door is. How do I get Skinny/Fat? To get skinny eat fruit, carrots. To get fat eat pie, beer and meats. To consume these when you buy them it will let you press select or eat.
