A Dodgeball Adventure Overview: - Estimated achievement difficulty: 3/10 [Achievement Difficulty Rating] - Offline: 26 [1000:1gs:] - Online: 0 [0:1gs:] - Approximate amount of time to 1000:1gs:: 8-10 Hours [Estimated Time to 100%] - Minimum number of playthroughs needed: 2 - Missable achievements: 0 (Level Select) - Does difficulty affect achievements: Yes - Unobtainable/glitched achievements: None - Extra equipment needed: An extra controller is helpful Introduction: “Only a team wins a game Björn”, “I am a team! And the raddest Stikbold player in the room!” Welcome to Stikbold! A Dodgeball Adventure, a whacky sports game which has you face off against your opponents in varying stages. You play as Björn and Jerome, two championship Dodgeball players on their journey to get the gold medal! But after Satan steals the competition away, the pair are bound by sportsmanship to save the team and win the championship. Stikbold is a very simple game, with a few basic mechanics all amounting to the same goal: Knock out your opponent. There are 12 story missions (11 of which have 3 optional objectives to complete), local multiplayer, and a handful of miscellaneous achievements which shouldn’t take you too long to obtain. Abbreviated Walkthrough: You’ll want to start by playing the game on Casual difficulty. In this run you’ll play through each level and get all daisies. After completing this you’ll unlock All-Star difficulty. Completing this ignoring the daisies will leave you with up to 11 achievements to mop-up. Each level of the campaign has 3 optional objectives to be completed, however they don’t need to be collected in one attempt, you merely need complete the level to confirm the objectives completion. None of them are particularly difficult save for a few. Mop-Up: Once the campaign has been completed you’ll want to grab the rest of your achievement in local multiplayer, where you can choose the settings for each map for specific purposes. 9 of these require you to perform a specific action, while 2 are cumulative for stinger shots and catching shots. Overall this shouldn’t take much longer than an hour or two. Conclusion: Stikbold despite its simplicity is still a fun game to relax with. Even the All-Star difficulty is simple after you’ve played through the campaign once. 6 hours for two campaigns and a few hours spent in the arena will easily grab you the 1000:1gs:. 2. Forma.8 Overview: - Estimated achievement difficulty: 1/10 [Achievement Difficulty Rating] - Offline: 30 [1000:1gs:] - Online: 0 [0:1gs:] - Approximate amount of time to 1000:1gs:: 9-10 Hours [Estimated Time to 100%] - Minimum number of playthroughs needed: 1 - Missable achievements: 2 – “You’re not alone”, “formed adventurer” - Does difficulty affect achievements: No - Unobtainable/glitched achievements: None - Extra equipment needed: None Introduction: “In the endless darkness of space, hope is dying. Nothing but the Formas stand between life and extinction.” Welcome to Forma.8, a metroidvania adventure game where you play a Forma, a small robot probe made to explore and survey new planets beyond the stars. After your landing goes awry, you’ll have to navigate a dangerous world to survive, and in the process uncover ancient secrets. Although slow at the start, forma.8 is a unique game with a lovely visual style. You’ll feel miniscule in comparison to the things you encounter, and the history to be discovered will give you a deeper understanding of the world around you. With 30 achievements, most of which you’ll unlock by the games end, the game isn’t all too challenging, so you can enjoy the story/art style. Abbreviated Walkthrough: In true Metroidvania style you will be placed in the starting area and given the freedom to explore the world. Areas blocked off from you are accessed by powers obtained in other areas. 14 achievements you will unlock by the end of the story mode, while the other 16 revolve around easter eggs, collectibles, and unlocking the ‘good’ ending for the game. You’ll want to start by completing the story campaign up to unlocking the achievement “One too many dimensions”, at which point you should have all movement abilities unlocked and the map to explore. After this you’ll want to find all collectibles/easter eggs, then go on to finish the game. “You’re not alone” is unlocked by finding an easter egg in the Lost Temple. This must be done BEFORE going to the end game by going through the portal in the dystopian forest. Once you unlock “One too many dimensions”, head back and make sure you’ve unlocked this achievement. A guide for the bosses can be found here: [ame= ] [/ame] Mop-Up: Once you complete the end game you’ll be given free roam of the map to finish up collectibles/easter eggs. By collecting the ‘secret objects’ you can find a compass which will show which parts of the map still have collectibles in. These areas will have a blue outline on the map, and collectibles can be easily found by checking for hidden passages/using movement abilities. Conclusion: Forma.8 is a gem amongst indie games, with a true Metroidvania style and plenty of lore to uncover/enjoy. This is paired with simple gameplay which should give you no trouble, ending in an easy 1000:1gs:, and an enjoyed experience. Good luck, and have fun exploring!
  3. Overview: - Estimated achievement difficulty: 3/10 [Achievement Difficulty Rating] - Offline: 17 [530:1gs:] - Online: 14 [470:1gs:] - Approximate amount of time to 1000:1gs:: 18-20 hours [using "Beacon Graduate" glitch], otherwise 30-35 hours [Estimated Time to 100%] - Minimum number of playthroughs needed: 1 - Missable achievements: None [Level select] - Does difficulty affect achievements: No - Unobtainable/glitched achievements: 2 [Glitches are positive] - Extra equipment needed: 3 extra players is helpful DLC: Team JNPR Difficulty: 2/10 Time to 120:1gs:: 1-2 Hours Unobtainable: 0 Introduction: This’ll be the day we’ve waited for! This’ll be the day we open up the door! Welcome to RWBY: Grimm Eclipse, a third-person hack and slash based on the popular series RWBY; a show about 4 schoolgirls, Ruby, Weiss, Blake and Yang, who are training to become huntresses in order to protect the world from the Grimm. The game can be rather lacking in terms of context and you are more likely to understand it after watching the RWBY anime. Despite the lack of story depth the game provides an exciting experience with colourful combat and plenty of jolly co-operation. Abbreviated Walkthrough: The game features two game modes: The main story and a horde mode. The achievements are split across these two modes and while most of them can be done solo, you will need to be online to access Horde mode and some achievements require 4 people. To this end it is much easier if you have 4 people in your group to save convincing random players to help you. You’ll want to start by completing the campaign with any character to unlock all chapters. At this point you’ll want to complete the final chapter with every other character and once solo. Then you’ll want to focus on the Horde mode achievements which require you to be online. Multiplayer: Most achievements while easier with friends can be done solo, however some require you to perform actions with 2 or 4 characters. There are only 10 however so this shouldn’t take too much time. Mop-Up: After the story and Horde modes have been completed you will be left with up to 21 miscellaneous achievements to acquire at your leisure. Level select is available to work through, and you’ll want to finish by obtaining the "Beacon Graduate" achievement. DLC: Team JNPR Abbreviated Walkthrough: With 3 new characters the DLC will only take a few hours to complete. Entering a game with two team setups and completing the final chapter with every DLC character will get you every achievement. Conclusion: RWBY: GE, while short and slightly repetitive, is still an enjoyable experience for the price tag. You’ll find most of the achievements come through natural playthrough and the rest will only serve to push the game a little bit further. Good luck, and happy hunting! Many thanks to Gamerscore Lore, CodeNameDarkness, Kazeh54, Side Quest Games Achievement Guide: http://www.xboxachievements.com/images/achievements/4347/128110-lo.jpg Ticking Time Bomb 30:1gs: Complete Mountain Glenn Part 2 with 3:00 minutes or more left on the clock. Enter an online match with 3 other people, and have each person pick one of Ruby, Weiss, Blake and Yang. Once everyone has pressed start and entered the game the achievement will unlock. http://www.xboxachievements.com/images/achievements/4347/128112-lo.jpg Going Solo 50:1gs: Complete the campaign in single player. To unlock this achievement, you must complete the final chapter ‘Final Exam’ in solo. Once you have defeated the boss at the end of the level the achievement will unlock. For a method on how to beat the boss keep reading if you don’t mind spoilers: The Mutated Deathstalker has 3 types of attacks: An area of effect smash attack, a projectile attack, and a direct attack with its tail. It will only perform an attacks if you are in its line of sight and not too far away. You must make it perform the first two types of attack and dodge these, and await the third in which you can hit its tail for decent damage. Throughout the fight it will spawn multiple enemies. The white and red robots when they appear will spawn infinitely, so just ignore them. The best character to use is a level 10 Blake with the ‘Stun blades’ ability, which you can use to stop the robots while you focus on the Deathstalker. If your aura is depleted, simply jump and dash around the edges of the arena until it recovers. Once you’ve defeated the Deathstalker the achievement will unlock. http://www.xboxachievements.com/images/achievements/4347/128113-lo.jpg Keep it 100 50:1gs: Reach 100 hits on the combo counter. During the end of chapter 3 ‘The collapse’ you will have to fight a giant Ursa with a very large health pool. Choose either Ruby or Blake and stand at a distance while shooting with http://www.xboxachievements.com/images/site/icons/xb1/rt.png. The counter will appear in the bottom right of the screen next to your character icon. Keep shooting even after it reaches 100 and eventually the achievement will unlock. http://www.xboxachievements.com/images/achievements/4347/128114-lo.jpg Team Player 20:1gs: Execute a Team Attack. A team attack is a random event that occurs in which one player hits an enemy which causes silver swords to appear above it's head. At this point another player can come up to the Grimm and press http://www.xboxachievements.com/images/site/icons/xb1/rb.png to perform a team attack. The best way to do this is to use Blake’s ‘Stun Blades’ ability to stun an opponent, then using a charged heavy attack on them by holding http://www.xboxachievements.com/images/site/icons/xb1/button-y.png, which will likely allow a team attack to occur. Press http://www.xboxachievements.com/images/site/icons/xb1/rb.png when available and your achievement will unlock. http://www.xboxachievements.com/images/achievements/4347/128115-lo.jpg Field Medic 20:1gs: Revive a teammate after purchasing Quick Revive. Quick revive is a general ability which is unlocked after reviving a teammate 5 times. It costs one skill point to unlock. Unlock it, revive a team mate, and your achievement will unlock. http://www.xboxachievements.com/images/achievements/4347/128117-lo.jpg You da Real MVP 50:1gs: Get Wave MVP five times in a waved encounter. During waved encounters in multiplayer matches, the characters who earns the most points (through kills, assists, etc.) will earn an MVP award. This award will appear on the screen at the end of the round. The first 5 wave encounter occurs in chapter 3 ‘The collapse’ when in the collapsed waterway. Go in with a friend, have them kill next to nothing each round, and your achievement will unlock. http://www.xboxachievements.com/images/achievements/4347/128118-lo.jpg Crazy Science Machine 50:1gs: Get four flawless waves in a waved encounter. During waved encounters where you protect a point, a flawless wave is when no enemies manage to damage the point. You will know if you have achieved one if you get a bonus at the end of the round saying ‘Flawless wave’. This is best done with a level 10 Blake and her ‘Stun blades’ ability on chapter 2 ‘Technical difficulties’. During the protection mission at the end of the level stand in the furthest most corner from where you came in. Most enemies will spawn next to you with some spawning to the left. Hit the far away enemies with your stun blades, this will aggro them and they fill fight you and leave the point alone. Do this for each round and your achievement will unlock.
