TheMongoStomp
i suck at these types of games so much, i cant even beat these games on easy. any tips?
Endokun
I tried the suggestion in the achievement guide and it works. Just save after each move and if you mess up, reload the previous save. Make sure to use all 3 save files, in case you can go further back to fix something. For Columns, when you pause, you can still see your blocks. Use that to your advantage. For Dr. Robotnik's M.B.M., when you Save or Load, you can see your blocks. Use that to your advantage too.
Jed05
Even with saves Mean Bean Machine is hard as heck haha
darkandlong
Mean Bean isn't too bad if you roll saves. I got it within 15 mins or so. I stink at Columns though, can't figure out the strat for it. Most I've gotten is 14k.
wizzard_of_tha_hood
The Easy as Pie achieve is definatly decieving (easy mode) but the pause and plan method is definatly the best way.
darkandlong
OK I figured out an easier way to get the Columns achievement, got it from the xbox forums off an achievement guide there. -Go to options, pick easy difficulty, exit back to main menu -Pick Menu, 1 player game -Novice skill, start on level 5. I got 20k in about 5 minutes, achievement unlocked. Faster and a lot easier.

banyangod
The Columns achievement is much easier if you go for the normal "novice" game than the arcade mode. I have always found arcade mode significantly more difficult.

ApochWeiss
M.B.M. is just pure massochism. I hated it back then and I still hate it now. Even using all three saves I failed...This one is going to take me a good while...I MUCH prefer Tetris...haha
Amazon XD
I don't know why you guys had such a problem with Yatta, I got it in 5 minutes. What you want to do is stack like, 3 of the same color, so say it's blue. Stack 3 blue pieces, then wait until you get a piece like red and blue, or purple and blue, and then connect the opposite color (not blue) with those three blue pieces. Then get four of that color that is connected to the blue pieces. The one blue piece ontop will fall onto the three below, and that is the beginnings of a combo. discostu1337
yeah, the mean bean machine game is nearly impossible, as is even passing 1 stage in Vectorman, let alone 4 or 5 to collect enough crap. These games are way hard and mostly crap

Chuppernicus
aff so easy :p:p Really, well Master Gamer why don't you help the boys out here and divolge your strategy for us? No? I love the guys that post for some kind of ego boost. Immaturity at it's best. If your not being helpful just go bother somebody else. I used the pause and check method and planned out my moves. I didn't use it often, more like every 5-6 drops. I would often reload though. I also customized my button layout to use the triggers so left trigger turned left and right trigger turned right. I was able to move pieces without thinking and keep up my speed.
LanEvo
OMG i cant believe i just got Yatta, thanks all for the hint. I started trying the save/load method, but wasnt working, so i started playing normally, and using continues when i lost. My method is to focus one color only. If i need a red to form a row of 4, i just move away blocks, dont care where, until i get a red. Once i get the red, i look at the screen to choose the next one, and so forth. One game i eventually got a good start, i was bottom and robotnik was up there, so i saved just in case, and continued with this strategy, after a few loads, i got lucky =P
Saraphan80
Yatta! Achievement: Choose continue, enter the following password: Yellow Bean, "Little Score Guy", Blue Bean, Blue Bean. This will take you straight to Dr. Robotnik. All I did to beat him was stack all the way right the whole time and hope for a combo to bury him. Took 4-5 tries. Good Luck! PS: As others have said, save if you're doing well!
zyxomma100
Didn't even think about using the level passwords. That'll make it much easier, thanks!
