hoddans
I've created a simple web utility to aid in Infinity Mode. The clock is based off the system clock, so even a slow computer doesn't lose time. It displays NPCs currently in the game and ones that will appear in 30 real-time minutes. All food HP is calculated automatically and all static mall food is sorted by location. Dead Rising: Survival Assistant To start the clock, simply press 'Start'. When you pause the game, press the 'Pause' button to adjust the time. For every loading screen, click the 'Map Load' button (estimated). The format to set the clock to a different time is the same one the game displays how long you have been alive: days:hours:minutes. 1:13:35 would be Day 2, 01:35 PM Clicking on the [X] will remove it from display (if dead or grabbed). Everything can be toggled/restored. I hope you enjoy the utility. Please report any bugs/feedback. hoddans
Actually, I watched your videos on YouTube you posted a couple days ago on how you run infinity and that made me want to make this. I just kept wondering how you knew where everyone was and what time was. BTW, great job on the run.

As far as knowing where everyone is and the time, I got used to using my health to tell time and the NPCs I memorized from Dr.Newcenstien's Big List of Stuff at : http://newcenstein.com/dead-rising-list.html
Xpresurself
WOW, Good job! That guide will be incredibly useful if I ever get round to doing 7-day Survivor... I've favourited it so I can come back to it. Thanks again! EDIT: Only have one question: What does the 'Set' button do? AloniaEverclear
Wow I just finished my 5 and 7 day Survivor about 10 minutes ago. So sad that I missed using this, it would have been really helpful.
hoddans
Only have one question: What does the 'Set' button do? The set button allows you to set the clock to any time in the game using the games formating. Because load screens aren't all that acurate or you forget to hit pause on something, after you see the time alive on a map change, you can type it into the box. Time alive: days:hours:minutes 3:04:23 would set the clock to Day 4, 4:23 AM. Hope this helps. I plan on doing my run after I finish CoD:WaW. hoddans
Okay, I finished CoD:WaW. Time to get 5 and 7 Day Survivor (hopefully tonight I'll start). I'll give my utility and whirl and see how well it works (or doesn't). I really want that 1000/1000 on this game.

zr122
Like the others have said, this will definitely be used when I go for those Achievements, assuming I ever build up the patience. I might just choose to go for the 5 day and leave it at that.
hoddans
I finally took the time to complete 5/7 Day Survivor and this utility made it a breeze. I never had to wander from place to place looking for survivors and psycos because I knew right where they would be and what they had. It was also easy to plan out my next several moves: kill this guy here, wait a bit, eat the food, head over to this place and kill this guy. I had zero problems surviving 7 days. I actually had enough food on me to get through most of day 8 and I stopped killing people after the Hall family in Entrance Plaza. There was one problem I had and that was the odd little game pauses (press this, do that game pop-ups and longer-than-expected level loads. But it was easy to adjust the clock. I usually used the Paradise Clock or the Securty Room clock to sync my time again. When I redo my entire website (which will be soon) I will be making a few changes to the tool that should be better aid is future uses.

Ingles
I have a question for you 7 day survivors... If you can not carry all the food that a psycho drops when you kill them, will the food still be there where they died or will it disappear if you travel to other parts of the mall?
hoddans
It will disappear. It is best to stay in the area, eat enough low level food until you have room for the better food.
lonesquiff
It disappears. Basically find a safe spot in whatever zone that is and wait it out to use up all the food the psycho dropped. Speaking of food drops, anyone run into a problem where a survivor didn't drop food if a zombie killed them?
Ingles
It will disappear. It is best to stay in the area, eat enough low level food until you have room for the better food. Thank you. I was on 4 days and some odd hours and minutes and went to bed last night. Little did I forget, I had the feature enabled to shutdown my console after 6 hours of inactivity. EPIC FAIL!! Needless to say, I'm going back and killing more psychos and survivors in the beginning than I did lat time to make thing last longer in the end for me. I'm also leaving at least 1 or 2 static food items in areas where I have been so that I can move on to the survivors and psychos more quickly and rely on them at first. I read in a lot of places that this was better to do so that you can make your first last longer as well. I do have all 3 health books as well. Edit: Just wanted to throw in that I think the web application you made is great! It's really cool. Good work. It's not a problem; it's supposed to do that. You need to kill them to get the food. Thank you to everyone that has used and found my application helpful. I'm glad it help you through this very, very long achievement.
Ingles
Oddly enough, when I've started this achievement and gone into the Warehouse from the beginning, the zombies have already killed Susan but I am still am to pick up the Cookies. Sooo.... I don't know. I never once shot her or anything.

FaltaViva
Amazing tool. I'm on day 4 of my run and my inventory is WAY better than my last attempt thanks to you! One thing I was confused about was the 2 times next to every person. I thought that was their second spawn date then I realized those are the hours they appear! Another one (Brock?) is on the helipad I think day 7. He has the greatest food items of them all.
