I am pretty sure I used Futo to dispatch at least one enemy in every level, but for some reason, I didn't get that achievement during level 8 where I would assume it pops up. I went ahead and loaded each level starting with Ninja Mountain, in successive order, taking out one bad guy and then quitting. It still didn't pop up after doing that for every level. Do I have to not only attack and destroy an enemy, but then finish the level? If so, that would be quite a pain in the ass. This leads to my question. Does anybody know a sure-fire way to get this achievement without playing through all over again? I really don't want to do that unless it is out of last resort. ponypo2001 Posted September 13, 2009 Share Posted September 13, 2009 I'm gonna have to do this cause I missed out using him on one level but I can tell you right now,you'll almost certainly have to play till a checkpoint as that is when the game would likely tally for that achievement.If that doesn't work,it'll be a 2nd playthrough.Seems a lot of people end up doing 2 play's due to one thing or another :/ Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I tried to remember to use Futo at least once on each level, but had to replay Snowy Canyon (the one where you sled down the mountain), because the combat part of that level is over so quickly I forgot to use him the first time. Looks like I'll just speedrun all the levels using Futo starting with the first. That's so lame. Just start at the beginning and run through the levels, making sure to kill at least one enemey on each one. If you speed run through the game it can be done in just under an hour, took me just over an hour to do my speed run on hard, and that includes the four or five bosses, which don't count for the Futo achievement anyways. I just did all the levels right now and for some reason still no achievement. I think I will do the boss levels and see if maybe that is the issue. I am pretty sure they don't count but I have played each level more than twice using Futo now, I really am beginning to think it's glitched. So I turned off the game, went and ate dinner, turned it on and at the main menu suddenly the achievement just popped up. I didn't even load a level. Well thus ends my problem. Whew. Now, do I dare to tackle DiRT 2 and all its retarded online achievements? Or do I grind to level 50 and get my 200/200 on Shadow Complex. I get the feeling DiRT 2 will make me rage beyond belief. I've had that happen with trophies on the PS3 (I didn't get a trophy notification on Fat Princess until two days after I unlocked it, lol), but never on the 360. Either way, glad you got it! BAM60 Posted September 15, 2009 Share Posted September 15, 2009 i got it not too long ago lke a few hours but alls you have to do is go to every level and kill atleast 1 person because i did it the first time and didnt work and tried again while beating the game on hard and on that level where you snowboard with the hat just change to Futo and hit somone and BAM got the acheivement. And it's not snowy canyon my problem because at the last part of this level i killed some ninja after the snowboard part. Pretty sure I've just done chapter 5 without using him, totally forgot about this stupid achievement. If I have to replay, I probably won't bother though. capthorp Posted October 3, 2009 Share Posted October 3, 2009 I just confirmed the way this needs to be done. If you dont use Futo in the game, it doesnt matter. After beating the game, simply start at the beginning, and load up the first level. Switch to Futo and kill an enemy. Find a checkpoint and use it. Then quit out and go to the next level. Rinse and repeat for all levels. I used Futo in the avalanche and wiped out a few guards, but the achievement didnt pop until the end of the level when I used him to kill a guard in the camp just before the level end.
