Introduction:

Welcome to Singularity. A brand new game to the market however there are some things that are going to seem very familiar, It seems ideas from well know titles such as BioShock, TimeShift, Metro2033 and maybe even a little Mass Effect have all been used within the game.

Breakdown:

As you play through the single player campaign you will unlock most of the achievements naturally, However there are several achievements based upon XX amount of kills with a certain weapon/ability, you want to be sure not to miss these as there is no mission replay so you will be starting over on a new game.

Career:

Step 1 - Play the game

Play through the game on Hard difficulty as it really isn’t hard, there may be 1 or 2 sections where you have to retry from the last checkpoint and there are quite a lot in this game, Make sure when you obtain a weapon you try to get its achievement out of the way, be sure to search high and low for E99 Tech and Weapon Tech, also you’ll find Blueprints, Chalk Boards and Chrono Notes which you will want to obtain and revert.

Once you finish the game for the first time and are returned to the main menu you will want to hit continue game to get the different endings, there are 3 in total but when clicking continue you will be at the very end with the different options to choose from all over again.

Xbox Live Multiplayer

Once you have completed the single player portion of this game it’s time to get online, The multiplayer in this game is very simple, most of your time will be spent in extermination where you have individual achievements for each Soldier and Creature, all of which take very little effort to obtain and you should have by the time you have played your 100 games for Extermination Addict

6 People are needed for a multiplayer game to start, there isn't really any need to boost in this game though

Mop-up:

If you are still missing any achievements, please refer to the achievement guide for tips, however if these are single player achievements then you are going to have to start a new save which means you lose all weapons and upgrades and progress towards your achievements.

20 Centurion kills in single player campaign

The Centurion is the weapon that you begin the game with.. The weapon is pretty weak so once you got your kills I would select this at a later time.

40 AR9 Valkyrie kills in single player campaign

This will pretty much be the main weapon you will use throughout the campaign when not going for a specific weapon achievement.

30 Volk S4 kills in single player campaign

This little beauty is awesome at close range and I always carried it as a secondary weapon, used in a combo with impulse it can be very lethal.

25 Kasimov SNV-E99 slo-mo kills in single player campaign

You must hold down the LT and click RS to go into slow mode to obtain these kills, very powerful sniper but since the majority of this game consists of close range enemies its best to trade out once you have the achievement

15 Auto-Cannon kills without reloading in single player campaign

This may sound difficult but once you have it you can upgrade the clip size twice which will double the clip making it very easy, best used against Phase Tick (Spider looking thingies as they die very quickly)

15 Seeker kills in single player campaign

You will come across this weapon several times throughout the game, Hold down LT and then you can control the bullet, it is a 1 hit kill and you can get this achievement from the 1st time you pick it up.

Age 15 soldiers to Dust in single player campaign

Can only be used against regular soldiers, Press LB and this will instantly kill them.

Turn 15 soldiers into Reverts in single player campaign

Once you unlock this ability you need to press LB twice quickly to turn them into reverts

Fully Upgraded 1 Weapon in single player campaign

To upgrade a weapon you will need to find Weapon Tech which looks like a Blue Briefcase, you will need 9 in total to fully upgrade 1 weapon, I would recommend upgrading the AR9 Valkyrie first as this should be your most used weapon, The Seeker and the RS-7 cannot be upgraded.

Purchased 10 different Hero Upgrades in single player campaign.

There are only 10 in the game so be sure to look everywhere for them, most people including myself seem to miss just 1 of them meaning you have to restart the entire game and collect them all again.

NOTE: The upgrade called Weapon Upgrade DOESN’T COUNT towards this achievement.

Kill 20 enemies with Impulse in single player campaign

When an enemy is close by you can press LB to use impulse which replace your Melee Knife pretty early on in the game, nearing the end of the game you will gain Uber-Impulse and infinite TMD energy so once you get that this will come naturally

Kill 10 enemies with Propane Tanks or Cryo Tanks in single player campaign

You can use the White Cryo Tanks for this and the small Yellow propane tanks, be aware that the red oil drums DO NOT count towards this achievement.

Grab 5 Shields from enemies in single player campaign

Later on in the game you will face soldiers carrying shields, they are still very weak, Just click RS to take the shield from them and then press it again to drop it.

20 Spikeshot kills in single player campaign

To get a kill with this you have to hold down LT to aim and the keep RT help down to charge up shots, this weapon isn't very good unless you get direct hits.

20 Dethex Launcher kills in single player campaign

Once you have this weapon try to work on your kills against just regular soldiers as it doesn't do much damage, Hold LT to aim, press RT to shoot while still holding LT, use RS to control the movement and then release LT when the grenade is close to an enemy.

There are more than 5 to purchase so just simply pick 5 different ones to best suite your play style.

Used the TMD to find 15 Chrono-Notes in single player campaign

You will find these on walls throughout Single Player, Use LB to make them visible and this must be done to 15 different ones.

Again you will find these throughout Single Player and must revert 10 different ones.

Killed 10 enemies by aging a Revert and having it explode near them in single player campaign

To get this you will need to press LB and then LB again to revert the soldier, then you will need to press LB 1 more time to age it, the Aged Revert will then start to attack other soldiers and will explode next to them.

Discovered the strange E99 specimen and what it morphs people into

Once you enter the boat. You’ll come across your first Dethex Launcher, The wall this gun is propped up against has a whole in it, you need to hold down LT and then RT to shoot, keep hold of the LT and use the RS to control the grenade, follow the puzzle on the wall down to the left and then down to the ground, move in underneath the door and release LT, this will cause an explosion to open the door, activate the Chrono Note inside for the achievement.

Towards the very end of the game you will come across a TMD upgrade machine, Behind that there is a vent which you can use impulse on, go through the vent and pick up the E99 Tech in there and the wheel is towards the back of the room, it’s not something you can pick up, just looking towards its general direction will trigger the achievement.

Kill 5 enemies by grabbing rockets and launching them back in single player campaign.

Once you come across a guy firing rockets I would recommend restarting checkpoint until you get it, if there are enough enemies around then just catch the rocket with RS and then aim at them individually just be sure if there’s more than 1 that you don’t take out the rocket guy first.

Kill 10 enemies inside a Deadlock in single player campaign

The best place for this is in the rail line when you come into a room filled with Phase Tick Eggs, you will turn a wheel to open a door which will release approx 15 Phase Ticks, Click RS and press LT to fire the deadlock and then kill everything inside of it, be sure you are inside of it too, you can reload checkpoint here as the auto save is just as you enter this room.
