Arsenic 17
Feed Me Oil ROADMAP Overview -Estimated achievement difficulty: 2/10 w/ video guide (6/10 without) -Estimated time for 200http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png: 3-5 hours w/ video guide (6-14 hours otherwise) -Minimum playthroughs: 1 -Offline: 20/20 (200http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png) -Online: 0/20 (0http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png) -Missable Achievements: 0 (level select) -Unobtainable Achievements: 0 -Does difficulty affect achievements: No difficulty option -Cheats disable achievements: No cheats -Glitched achievements: 0 -Extra equipment needed: Windows Phone 7 or 8 Introduction Feed Me Oil is a physics-based puzzle game which stems from the basic concept of getting a specified amount of oil from a faucet to a distant compartment, using only gravity and a limited number of game "elements." It can really only be enjoyed being played without a guide, as puzzle games always are. The fun of the game is struggling through levels and conquering them. That said, if you are looking for a fast 200 gamerscore, using a guide will net you all the achievements in about 4 hours. If you are looking to play the game legit, you will likely spend a significant amount of time trying to complete it, but it will be much more rewarding, and your brain will definitely be tested along the way! The game is currently listed at $0.99 in the Marketplace. Step 1: Complete the game Play through all the levels starting from the beginning. Try as get as many stars as you can. If you want your gamerscore quick, skip to Step 2. Step 2: Obtain 3 stars all levels Use the video guides outlined below to obtain the rest of the stars. Step 3: Mop-up Complete any achievements you may have missed while getting the required amount of stars. It is likely you wont have to mop-up any, but there may be a few. Conclusion All in all, Feed Me Oil is a fun little puzzle game that will give you 200 fairly easy gamerscore if using a guide, and a decent amount of challenge and fun if you're not. GUIDE COMPLETION ACHIEVEMENTS (4 for 25 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png) The following 4 achievements cannot be missed and are obtained just by completing the game. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/2308/UPwUhMk=.jpg The Fan - 5 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png Unlock new element. See "Gravity Switch." http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/2308/UP7TaFQ=.jpg The Magnet - 5 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png Unlock new element. See "Gravity Switch." http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/2308/UP1thZU=.jpgGravity Switch - 5 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png Unlock new element. These achievements unlock with natural progression. They are awarded when you get a certain new element to use in the game as you progress further through the levels. Fan appears on Level 1-8, the magnet on Level 2-2, and the gravity switch on Level 5-1. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/2308/+KAXnQ==.jpg Own Flow Seeker - 10 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png Find 30 original solutions. I am not entirely certain, but I think this just requires you to complete 30 total levels, with or without hints. This unlocks after completion of the 30th level, which is 2-15. STAR ACHIEVEMENTS (5 for 105 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png) The following 5 achievements are obtained by getting stars on each level. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/2308/+dkWwQ==.jpg Wooden Cog - 5 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png Collect 50 stars. See "Platinum Cog." http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/2308/+DnuUg==.jpg Stone Cog - 10 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png Collect 100 stars. See "Platinum Cog." http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/2308/+hjn5w==.jpg Iron Cog - 20 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png Collect 150 stars. See "Platinum Cog." http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/2308/+-gfdA==.jpg Golden Cog - 30 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png Collect 200 stars. See "Platinum Cog." http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/2308/+N8Leg==.jpg Platinum Cog - 40 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png Collect 250 stars. You can obtain up to 3 stars on each level. Getting 3 stars requires that you complete the level with at least 3 total unused elements remaining out of the ones you are given. 2 stars requires that you finish with 2 unused elements, while 1 star is awarded for simply completing the level. There are 6 worlds, each with 15 levels. This means the total number of possible stars is 270 (3x6x15). Since you only need 250 to unlock the achievement, you do not need to get 3 stars on all the levels. Try and get all stars on the first five worlds, as then are easier. If you do this, you only need to get a total of 25 stars on World 6. CLICK HERE for 3-star walkthroughs of each level compliments of InsideGames. Thanks to absurd for finding this. Arsenic 17
OIL ACHIEVEMENTS (4 for 20 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png) The following 4 achievements are obtained by using and manipulating the oil. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/2308/UPm2bzA=.jpg Feeding Hand - 5 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png Feed 5000ml of oil. This will be obtained with natural completion of the game. Should be one of the first achievements you get. Just "feed" oil into the compartments to complete levels. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/2308/UPhWl6M=.jpg Oil Painter - 5 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png Paint 5000ml of oil. This will also be obtained with natural progression. Later on in the game, you will be required to paint the oil different colors before sending it on its way to the compartments to complete each level. You do not need to actually complete the level, you can just paint the oil then reset the level. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/2308/UPp3nhY=.jpg Oil Spiller - 5 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png Lose 10000ml of oil. This will also be obtained with natural progression. To "lose" oil, it must fall or slide off screen. This should be obtained early on in the game. NOTE: This achievement was glitched at launch, but has since been patched. If you already played the game and did not delete your save, just boot up the game and the achievement should unlock at the main menu. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/2308/UPuXZoU=.jpg Oil Spill God - 5 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png Lose 50000ml of oil. Same as "Oil Spiller," just lose more oil. This should come with natural progression. I got this in World 4. Luckily this one is not glitched. MISCELLANEOUS ACHIEVEMENTS (7 for 60 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png) The following 7 achievements are obtained by performing certain tasks which you may or may not complete with natural completion. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/2308/-OIE9w==.jpg Keen Feeder - 10 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png Complete a level with +4 unused elements. See "Feed Genius." http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/2308/-QL8ZA==.jpg Feed Genius - 10 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png Complete a level with +5 unused elements. These achievements simply require that you complete a level with at 4 and 5 unused elements. They are stackable, so completing a level with 5 elements unused will unlock both. If you are using a guide, you will definitely get this about half way through the game. If you are having trouble, check try Level 3-8, which is completed with 6 unused elements (see http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/2308/-yP10Q==.jpg Buttons Cheater - 5 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png Complete a level with a button without oiling it. Not a hard achievement, but it does require some thought. If you can't get this yourself, try Level 1-15 using only a fan. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LNoNJ5tgQgQ&feature=player_embedded]THIS VIDEO[/ame]. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/2308/+T-z6Q==.jpg Free Range Brain - 5 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png Do not use hints in 15 levels. See "Organic Brain." http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/2308/+oEeKA==.jpg Organic Brain - 10 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png Do not use hints in 30 levels. These require that you complete the stated number of levels without using any hints. Hints are given when you push the question mark near the top left of the screen. They generally tell you which elements you use and where to put them. If you are using a guide this is a freebie. If you are not using a guide, just replay the first level 30 times without using a hint. Thanks to J Lo for this method. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/2308/UP41jXw=.jpg Thoughtful Feeder - 5 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png Think for 5 minutes in one level. Just spend 5 minutes trying to solve one level in one sitting. This should come with natural progression, even if you are using as guide, as some of the levels require very precise placement of elements. Alternatively, if you are too smart, you could just leave your phone idle while in a level. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/2308/UP-Vde8=.jpg Keep Trying - 5 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png Set the oil flowing ten times in one level. This should come with natural progression. Just start the oil flowing ten times without completing the level. This can be quickly obtained by repeatedly tapping the faucet. jeffy x360a
if your an achievement hunter and you like to view roadmaps and see if there is glitchy achieves like i do then try this. the one achieve for spilling 10,000ml of oil is glitched so what i did since i knew about this i just went into level 2 like people do to waste oil and hit the pipe and walked away. when i came back i checked and had the 10,000ml and 50,000ml achieves so there the first 2 i got. this may be an easier thing to do to go for them first and not worry about installing and reinstalling the game. just a thought. Doing this will also get you the Keep Trying achievement. Edited May 30, 2012 by J Lo

zszaiss
So, random question - does anyone know whether the inverse gravity button on the world select screen impacts your overall star score? Invoking inverse gravity opens up another 270 stars, for a grand total of 540... but I notice the guide doesn't mention them.
Arsenic 17
So, random question - does anyone know whether the inverse gravity button on the world select screen impacts your overall star score? Invoking inverse gravity opens up another 270 stars, for a grand total of 540... but I notice the guide doesn't mention them. I can't confirm this myself, but I did create tye guide. Someone posted that the stars earned in reverse gravity do not count towards the star achievements. Not sure where I found that though. Haven't heard any complaints though. zszaiss
You're right. I just confirmed that the star values on normal and inverted do not add up when pushing for 250 stars. Thanks for chiming in.
