Chada Darkmane
Playing a game with kinect is like playing a normal game but with a controller where every single button is broken and sometimes wont work when you push it. I hope the design team got sacked. Worst Peripheral ever.
Slaughter.
How big is your play space? It gets drastically better when you have a more open room to play in.

Veedrock
User error. /thread Not always the case, I couldn't get Sonic Free Riders to work for the life of me Still the game's fault though, not Kinect's.

Xtowers
The only game I got really frustrated on was Kinectimals. Some of those minigames required precision that I felt the Kinect just didn't pick up. Everything else was just fine. A lot of the games are really fun. Floorkiller
It all depends on the game. I find the Kinect works great on some games, and it's crap on others. That tells me it's the game, not the Kinect.
hydrosugar
Yet out of the 5 Kinect games you've played you have 4 completions and the 5th one you just started. Maybe he's just really persistent. Even if it just works sometimes I'd imagine it's still possible to soldier through. Of course I wouldn't dream of using something I hated that extensively, but to each their own. v_thorne
I just recently picked up my Kinect at a used shop and am enjoying it for the most part. I have only about 5 feet of space, so today I went out to grab the Zoom Lens from Nyklon and I gotta say, it's pissing me off. It's mostly because it makes my right arm wonk out, but I figured out that since it takes in more space due to the fish eye lens it's glitching out because of my black night stand... which is where my right arm hovers over. Haunt is really fun, I just wish they'd make more Kinect games.
lawdog1037
I know, right?! That thing is the worst! It was a good idea, but I usually just use it for voice activation of my netflix. I'm so lazy now.

I got the kinect the day it came out and have not had a single problem with it. the closest thing to a problem was trying to figure out how to mount it to the top of the tv, but a pizza box and a lamp fixed that. Foxxy kyle
If you are having problems with a game, it is 95 times out of 100 either 1. User Error (Most common) 2. Poor development of game, not kienct fault (Sonic FreeRiders, Kung Fu Panda 2, etc) NOT the Kinect fault,
The Spec 0ps
I've found that most everything played on the kinect tracks movement poorly (with the exception of Gunstringer), if you were thinking about buying a kinect, DON'T DO IT! Save your money, it's not worth it.
Skanker irl
Kinect has worked great for some games, average for others. I think it how the game was developed, not Kinect. I also have a ton of gameplay space though, and great lighting. And I think Kinect 2 will be much improved.

Spazaz Man
I personally don't have a kinect, the few times i've tried them and used them i haven't enjoyed them too much. They're fun at small get togethers...but for individual use I couldn't see myself using one.
robk24
Most problems with the kinect are usually just the amount of light in the room issues, at dusk/night it can be finicky but in daylight its fine
Mrfaceman23
I Love the Kinect mainly for voice activation i try to play games but im not small or even medium sized so some games dont respond like others(Dance Central Worked but Hole in the wall didnt lol) but i will say Your Shape:Fitness evolved is a BIG SUCCESS
justG0Twicked
When I saw this thread I just though of a lazy person. People have said the same thing to me, as I am also not a fan of Kinect. It has nothing to do with lazy - I just love the Xbox 360 controller and have no desire to be dancing all over my living room. When I want to be active, I go to the gym. Chada Darkmane
What does it matter if the problem is the sensor itself, the fact that no one knows how to make a game that can use it, of the fact that you must have the perfect lighting conditions, perfect feng shui of your living room furniture and be standing on one hand at 47 degrees magnetic north for it to pick up your movements correctly? Its still an utter piece of shit that doesnt work properly.
