There are 150 levels, each consisting of a structure for you to blow up with a given number of explosives. Currently the game is listed at $2.99 in the Windows Phone Store. Step 1: Earn A+ ranks on all 150 levels Earning all the A+ ranks in the game will earn you every achievement. Make sure to set the difficulty to Expert from the start (awards you more points towards earning A+ rank). Using picture guides will make the game much easier, so it is recommended you do so. Conclusion The physics in the game are a little wonky which make it more challenging than it needs to be. Even following the picture guides for the levels is sometimes not enough. Even the very slightest pixel difference on-screen can completely change the outcome of the explosion, whether you pass or fail the level, and ultimately the rank you are awarded. Even with these issues, you should have no problem completing the game in under 8 hours. There are a total of 15 zones in the game, of which all but the first one need to be unlocked. Subsequent zones are unlocked when you complete any 7 out of the 10 levels in the current zone. Completing a level just requires that you explode the blocks so they all land below the pass line. Rank or total score does not factor into completing levels. You will earn the final zone unlocking achievement when you complete your 7th level in zone 14. While none of these achievements require that you earn A+ ranks, you should go for them while progressing through the game to earn all of the other achievements in the same playthrough. See "Implosion Grandmaster" for level picture guides and information. Edited April 18, 2013 by Arsenic
Arsenic 17
http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1775/++74qg==.jpg Architect - 10 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png Create a custom level. This is a very simple and quick achievement. From the Main Menu, click on "Play/Create Custom." Then click the "Create Zone" button in the bottom left corner of the screen. Enter a name for your zone. Click "OK" and then "Confirm." Then hit the "Editor" button on the right side and then "No Thanks" to skip the tutorial. Use your finger in order to drag and draw a few blocks on the screen. Make sure they are above the fail line. Then hit "Exit", "Keep Changes", and then "Exit" again. Achievement unlocked! http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1775/UP6EGts=.jpg Implosion 101 - 10 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png Blow up a building. These achievements just require that you complete 10 different levels by exploding all of the blocks below the pass line. Your total score or rank does not matter, but again, you should go for all A+ ranks to work towards other achievements. Progressing through the game normally, this achievement will unlock when you complete the last level of Zone 1. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1775/UP1F6-0=.jpg Ace! - 10 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png Earn your first A+ grade. There are a total of 150 levels in the game and you need to earn an A+ rank in all of them. Ranks in this game are entirely based off score (which is actually $$ earned, but will keep the score reference in the guide). The components of the scoring are as follow: Explosion points - These come from the initial blast and are based on how many other blocks or bombs are impacted by the blast. You get separate point values for each bomb you place and they all sum to make up this category. NOTE: Solid white blocks award more points then clear blocks. Height points - These points are awarded for how far below the pass line your blocks fall. The lower you explode the entire building to, the more points you get. Unused bomb points - These points are awarded solely by how many bombs you leave unused to pass the level. Dynamite are worth 2000 score each, barrel bombs are worth 3500 score each, and directional bombs are worth 1500 score each. Difficulty points - Playing on harder difficulties will earn you more points. Only play on Expert and you will earn 2500 points in this category. All of you points from the above 4 categories sum together and you must surpass the given score for A+ rank. The A+ score is unknown to you until you complete the level a single time (get all the blocks below the pass line), then it will become visible in the top right corner of the screen while playing that level. Earning an A+ ranks without guides will take A LOT of trial and error. Earning an A+ ranks with guides will taken less trial and error, but still a significant amount. This is because the game is very particular on how your bomb-placement will effect the outcome of the explosion. When using the guides, trying to precisely match up the location of the bombs, even the slightest pixel difference is sometimes enough to cause a completely different and unwanted outcome. The guides will only be marginally helpful on some levels. Try your best to get your bombs lined up the same as in the guide. Test the explosion and if it doesnt work, very so slightly reposition some of the bombs to see what works best. Often if there is one or two bombs in play, you will be able to complete the level on your first attempt. When you start needing to place four or five bombs, that is when things get tricky and frustrating. Just keep at it. Reposition some bombs and try again. Some other general tips include: Pay attention to the scoring. Not using bombs only earns you the flat score based on the bomb type. See if you cant manage to get more score by actually using that bomb to add to your explosion or height score. My technique that worked well was to position a bomb and if it didn't work, to pick up the bomb entirely, move it out of the immediate area, then drag it back in and place it again. Even though it may look like it is in an identical location, the outcome of the explosion can change. There is no randomness to the explosions, meaning if you have the bombs set up a certain way and do not move them, if you keep firing the explosion over and over, nothing will ever change. If you absolutely cant get anywhere near the A+ score after 100+ attempts on any and all of the potential solutions from multiple picture guides, try lowering the difficulty to Veteran.
