I've tried out a couple games on Windows 8 but when I go to try UNO & Friends it keeps saying: Unable to connect to xbox at this time. Please check you connection. Could not verify the user.

 

Is there any way I can get this game to work for me ?

Gameloft posted on their Facebook page that an update was coming this week but there was no ingame notification. I admit I didn't look very hard either, I was just happy to be able to finish up as I was level 99 when the problems started.
