Introduction

Rabbids Big Bang is a physics-based puzzler that will undoubtedly feel reminiscent of Angry Birds Space. You control a Rabbid character outfitted with a jetpack. Another Rabbit launches you at the beginning of each level and you then navigate around outer space and planets, using the pull of gravity and a jetpack with limited fuel. Each level has a single objective to complete. Currently the game is listed at $1.49 in the Windows 8 Store.

Step 1: Reach Farside 15

Play through the game and earn as many stars on the levels as you can until you unlock the Farside planet of levels, which requires 260 total stars. Then progress to Farside 15 which is the best level in the game to grind coins. As you are progressing towards this objective, you should be using your earned coins to upgrade your jetpack two levels for every level you upgrade your bat.

Step 2: Grind enough coins to fully upgrade bat and jetpack

Once you unlock Farside 15, grind enough coins to fully upgrade your bat and jetpack. This will unlock the "Show-off," "Bwaatt man," and Bwaakpacker" achievements. With these upgrades, most of the levels in the game will become quite easy. See the "Best Coin Grinding Method" section at the end of the Roadmap.

Step 3: 3-star all levels

Now upgraded, attempt to earn three stars on all 150 levels. Levels that seemed challenging before will now be a breeze. You can also grind some extra coins to use on power-ups for levels that are just too hard, even when fully-upgraded. Earning all stars will net you the "Stars hunter" achievement, as well as the "BRAVO!" achievement for finishing all the levels.

Step 4: All outfits and mop-up

After earning three stars on all the levels, you likely will have unlocked all of the miscellaneous achievements in the game. You may need to grind several thousand coins to purchase the last few outfits for the "Fashion victim" achievement. Take this time to mop-up anything you may have missed.

Conclusion

Rabbids Big Bang is a relatively easy game to complete, as long as you take the time to grind out enough coins as soon as possible to fully upgrade your Rabbid. Most achievements will unlock without even paying attention to them. Overall you are looking at around 10 hours total for this completion.

WARNING TO OBSESSIVE COMPULSIVE GAMERS: Most of the achievements in the game offer an odd gamerscore value. Only three of them end in a 0 or 5.

BEST COIN GRINDING METHOD: Load up the level Farside 15. Purchase the "Win 8 coins for the price of 1" power-up for 100 coins. This will give you 8 coins for every coin you collect. Now just get to collecting coins! There are three planets on this level. You start on the middle one, called Pyramid. You should launch yourself immediately to the right and follow the trail of coins down to the planet on the right, called Ruba. This planet is surrounded by around 60 coins. Keep circling around the planet collecting as many coins as you can. Pick up the toilet papers to gain some fuel. Hit the blue blob to temporarily reveal the hidden coins which disappear after a short time. Keep going until you run out of fuel, crash, or collect enough coins to be satisfied. Hit the restart button in the top right corner of the screen and repeat the process. With that power-up active, you will gather between 200 and 400 coins per play of the level. Each run takes a solid minute or two. At this pace you will be earning 10,000-15,000 coins per hour, possibly more or less depending on your skill and luck.

Stay 5 minutes in shop without buying anything

This achievement requires that you sit in the shop for 5 consecutive minutes without purchasing anything. From the level-selection screen, tap the image of the shopping cart in the lower left hand corner to enter the shop. Now do nothing until the achievement pops. You may need to tap your screen periodically to keep your screen from timing out (depends on your lockscreen settings).

Fart 10 times

This achievement requires that you fart a cumulative total of 10 times across all replays of all levels. Farting only occurs when your try to use the jetpack after running out of fuel. When you run out of fuel, repeatedly keep tapping the screen and a green cloud will billow out of your Rabbid. Each tap with an empty fuel gauge is considered a fart (it will make a sound). The first level you can earn this on is Sweet Home 4.

Hit 10 cows

This achievement requires that you hit a cumulative total of 10 cows across all replays of all levels. Cows are scattered across many of the worlds and when you hit them they will send you flying. You will hit way more than 10 while completing the game, but it you want to get this done early, the first level you can earn this on is Sweet Home 3. Launch the Rabbid to the left, pick up the jetpack, and then boost into the cow. Reload the level and repeat until you reach 10.

Hit 10 mines

This achievement requires that you hit a cumulative total of 10 mines across all replays of all levels. Mines are scattered across many of the worlds and when you hit them they will explode and send you flying. You will hit way more than 10 while completing the game, but it you want to get this done early, the first level you can earn this on is Planet Run 1. There are 4 mines on this level. Hit as many as you like and reload until you reach 10 total.

Hit 10 UFOs

This achievement requires that you hit a cumulative total of 10 UFOs across all replays of all levels. UFOs are scattered across many of the worlds and when you hit them they will rotate and send you flying. You will hit way more than 10 while completing the game, but it you want to get this done early, the easiest level you can earn this on is Sweet Home 5. There is a single UFO above and to your left. Launch the Rabbit in the direction with full jetpack power and try for the UFO. Repeat until you get 10.

Refill your fuel 5 times in a mission

This achievement requires that you refill your jetpack fuel 5 times in a single level. This can be done on just about any level in the game. When you use all your fuel (the green bar on the left side of the screen is empty), a button will pop-up in the bottom left corner of the screen which you can use to get more fuel. Using it will cost coins. Empty and use this button to refill 5 times in a single level to unlock this achievement. You will need to have 700 coins for this.

Fly 10 seconds without using jetpack or black hole

This achievement requires that you fly for ten consecutive seconds without using a jetpack or the black hole power-up. You will without doubt get this without even trying very early in the game. Just use your jetpack and gravity to get going fast into empty space and you are sure to unlock this.

http://www.xboxachievements.com/images/achievements/2906/1.jpg Serial crasher - 5 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png

Crash 50 times

This achievement requires that you crash a cumulative total of 50 times across all replays or all levels. Crashing occurs when you slam into a planet too hard or come to a stop on a planet. This will cause you to fail the level. This achievement will definitely unlock before earning 3 stars on all the levels. To quickly earn it, just keep launching your Rabbid straight into the ground at the beginning of a level.

http://www.xboxachievements.com/images/achievements/2906/1.jpg Looper - 6 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png

Make 10 laps around a planet

This achievement requires that you make 10 consecutive laps around the same planet. You must remain in the planet's gravitational field the entire time (i.e. the faint black line must always be connecting you to that planet). The first and easiest level to earn this on is Sweet Home 3. Here you have unlimited jetpack fuel. Just keep flying around Earth until the achievement pops. Be sure not to hit the cow as that will end the level.

http://www.xboxachievements.com/images/achievements/2906/1.jpg Icarus - 6 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png

Burn 10 seconds near sun

This achievement requires that you burn for 10 consecutive seconds near a star and can be done on any level where there is a star. The first level you can earn this on is Familiar Galaxy 1. Fly up and to the left and maneuver around the sun remaining within its atmosphere (orange outline) for 10 seconds or so. As long as your Rabbid remains on fire for ten seconds in a row, the achievement will unlock.

http://www.xboxachievements.com/images/achievements/2906/1.jpg Bwaakpacker - 9 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png

Upgrade your jetpack to maximum

See "Show-off."

http://www.xboxachievements.com/images/achievements/2906/1.jpg Bwaat man - 9 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png

Upgrade your bat to maximum

See "Show-off."

http://www.xboxachievements.com/images/achievements/2906/1.jpg Space traveller - 9 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png

Travel 100000 miles

This achievement requires that you fly a cumulative total of 100,000 miles across all replays of all levels. While this number sounds huge, remember that you are playing a giant Rabbid flying around tiny-looking solar systems. This achievement will unlock sometime in the first few levels of the game.

http://www.xboxachievements.com/images/achievements/2906/1.jpg Speedy - 9 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png

Reach the incredible speed of 800 m/h

This achievement requires that you reach a speed of 800 m/h. There is no way top tell how close you are really getting to this threshold. Some levels have objectives to reach certain speeds and they display a speedometer. However, once you reach the threshold (the largest is 650 m/h), the level will be complete. Normally there is no way to tell. After fully upgrading your jetpack and bat, this achievement should come without even trying, especially towards the end of the game when there are large planets with strong gravitational pull. Basically you just need to launch yourself past a huge planet until the gravity slows you to a stop, then you will quickly be accelerating back towards that planet. At this time use your jetpack full blast and narrowly dodge the planet on your return. This is somewhat like a slingshot and will really get you moving.

Fly 10 minutes without failing or retrying a mission

This achievement requires that you fly 10 minutes without failing or retrying a mission. This would be quite challenging to do naturally. Luckily there is a very easy method to unlock this achievement. It involves abusing the unlimited jetpack fuel in the level Sweet Home 3. Launch and keep flying around Earth for 10 consecutive minutes. Just don't crash, hit the cow, or fall asleep and you can keep flying around indefinitely. The achievement will pop immediately when you reach 10 minutes in this level. It may be best to wait until you are more skilled at the game to try earning this, rather than doing it right away.

http://www.xboxachievements.com/images/achievements/2906/1.jpg Show-off - 27 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png

Upgrade jetpack and bat to maximum

This achievement requires that you fully upgrade both the jetpack and bat. Additionally, fully upgrading the bat will unlock the "Bwaat man" achievement and fully upgrading the jetpack will unlock the "Bwaackpacker" achievement.

Upgrades can be purchased from the shop (click the shopping cart from any level-selection screen) under the "Gear" tab. You will need to upgrade both items to Level 10. It costs 10,310 coins to upgrade the bat, and 12,380 coins to upgrade the jetpack, for a grand total of 22,690 coins. The best and quickest way to grind coins can be found in the "Best Coin Grinding Method" section at the end of the Roadmap. As soon as you fully upgrade both, the achievement will unlock.

http://www.xboxachievements.com/images/achievements/2906/1.jpg Stars hunter - 36 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png

Collect all stars in levels 1 to 10

This achievement requires that you earn 3 stars on ALL 150 levels of the game (450 total stars). Simply completing all the levels (with at least one star) will unlock the "BRAVO !" achievement. Earning stars in the game is entirely related to how quickly you can complete the lone objective of each level. In the top middle of the screen is a timer. For 3 stars, you will need to complete the level when the timer is in the green. For 2 stars, in the yellow, and for 1 star you will only need to complete the level (timer will be red). There are 10 worlds (with 15 levels a pop), and each unlocks when you earn a cumulative total of stars, the last of which being Cow Panic which unlocks at 350 stars. Initially only the first level of each world will become unlocked. Subsequent levels are unlocked by completing (earning at least one star) in the previous level.

When you start out playing the game, earning 3 stars on some levels will be quite challenging. Your goal initially should be to gather as many stars as you can easily get, progressing far enough to unlock the Far Side world (requires 260 stars). Then play through to Far Side 15. This is the best level in the game to grind coins. See the "Best Coin Grinding Method" section at the end of the Roadmap for more information. After you get enough coins, you can fully upgrade you jetpack and bat to make earning 3 stars on all of the levels very easy in most cases. There will still be a few levels that are challenging. It is advisable that you grind some additional coins to purchase power-ups when you need them. Power-ups can make very difficult levels a breeze. The two most useful power-ups for you will be "Win 8 coins for the price of 1" and "Guide the Rabbit where you want to." The former will be useful on level where the objective is to collect a certain amount of coins. The latter is useful for just about every level (especially the 15th level of each world), but is relatively pricey at 500 coins per usage.

With your gear maxed out and some upgrades at your disposal, earning 3 stars on each level becomes quite straightforward and simple. The game is relatively new and unpopular, so there are no walkthrough videos available. Even if there was, they might not be all that useful due to the precision and timing needed to complete each level anyways.

Buy all the outfits

This achievement requires that you purchase all of the outfits from the shop. The shop can be accessed by tapping the shopping cart symbol from any level-selection screen. Once in the shop, select "Outfits" at the bottom. There are 10 outfits you need to purchase using coins you have earned. The total cost of all 10 is 7,400 coins. You should save this achievement for last, as outfits have no gameplay implications and are entirely cosmetic. See the "Best Coin Grinding Method" section at the end of the Roadmap for the quickest and easiest way to earn coins. As soon as you purchase the last outfit, the achievement will unlock.

Finish all missions in the first 10 solar systems

This achievement requires that you complete all 150 levels in the game. See "Stars hunter" for more information.

For Speedy, I actually used your solution for Flawless slightly. I got into a huge orbit outside of the planet for Level 1-3 and when I got Flawless to unlock I aimed myself in the direction of the gravitational pull and used the jetpack in that direction and easily had it before returning to the planets. I only had a level 3 jetpack at the time as well.

Hmm .Thanks for the tip. I tried to get this using your method, and still couldnt get it to work exactly with a Level 6 jetpack. Eventually in the latter half of the game, you will get this automatically for the most part. The planets (stars) get much bigger and have massive gravity pull, it is impossible to miss basically. But cheers.

I might have just gotten lucky with it. I had been orbiting quite far out and then was constantly readjusting my heading to make sure it was directly in the direction of the planets pull.

I just noticed that even though I've been unlocking some of these achievements that they're not showing up on my GT. I'm signed in as far as I can tell on everything else, but am not sure what the issue here is. Any advice would be great. Thanks!

seems it happens to everyone after update 2.0.0.0

the game just dont really sign in xbox live, and in my case, i cant check leaderboard and can not see the screen of buying coins

and if you check xbox.com, it shows you havent played this game even if you just did it

no...

and if you check TA, seems no one got achievement after July 18th, after that day the game update to 2.0.0.0

unless someone set windows apps to no auto update......

Man, that blows. I did try to delete it, then set to no auto update, then redownload it, but that didn't work either. Hopefully, they'll fix it.

Got a response on twitter. Basically just said thanks for the info. And that the devs are already aware of the issue. Ubisoft is usually diligent with fixes so hold on folks.

Just noticed there was an update for this last night, downloaded it, and as soon as the game loaded up, the three achievements that I'd unlocked (but never registered on xbox.com) popped immediately. So, it looks like this game is fixed now.

thanks for the update. Good to know. Now if they can just get their ac pirates shit together!

I assume this utilizes cross saves between phone and W8? If so, how does that affect achievements? Will all achievements earned on one platform unlock when you start up on the other platform? Any achievements you're locked out of if you get them on one platform and them the cross save happens?

No cross saves for this game unfortunately. They are completely separate from one another (i.e. have to earn all 200G from scratch twice).
