THE DEADLY DOG
http://i307.photobucket.com/albums/nn312/THE-DEADLY-DOG/XBA/WZPKXx7.png Thanks to Mr Chaotix for this amazing banner! Overview: - Estimated achievement difficulty: 2/10 - Offline: 1 [100http://www.xboxachievements.com/images/site/icons/xb1/gs.png] - Online: 2 [150http://www.xboxachievements.com/images/site/icons/xb1/gs.png] - Approximate amount of time to 250http://www.xboxachievements.com/images/site/icons/xb1/gs.png: <1 or slightly over 1 hour. - Minimum number of playthroughs needed: 7 multiplayer matches, possibly two story missions. - Missable achievements: None - Does difficulty affect achievements?: No - Unobtainable/glitched achievements: None - Extra equipment needed?: None Introduction to Title Update Achievements: Well ladies and gents, it seems three little achievements snuck their way into our Ryse: Son of Rome achievement lists. Luckily for most of us, these achievements may actually unlock without having to play much of the game, if any at all. Adding a whopping 250http://www.xboxachievements.com/images/site/icons/xb1/gs.png, this title update delivers no new content, although it does boost gamerscore and takes roughly one hour to complete baring any Xbox Service issues. Abbreviated Walkthrough: Start out by going to your achievement app and seeing what, if anything, has already unlocked and what you have left to do. We will tackle "Et tu, Brute" first. If it has not unlocked, or says "Done, unlocking..." then there is a quick little way that has been reported, and confirmed to work for some people. Load up the campaign and head into the first chapter simply replaying it on the easiest difficulty. After completing the first chapter for a second time you should unlock the achievement even if it says that it is "Done, unlocking..." If it does not unlock after the first chapter replay, you will need to re-do the final chapter as well. Now let's shift focus to those two multiplayer achievements. If you are like most people and are returning to these achievements, you probably have already unlocked "Beware the Ides of March" for 15 executions in a single multiplayer game. This is a relatively easy achievement to grab if you do not have it. Simply load up the multiplayer, go to solo, and choose Barbarous as your map. Now if you have already completed the achievements for this game and did not play it strenuously for fun, you may only have one or two map completions for Barbarous out of the required seven. For "Madness in March" to unlock you must complete the map, not simply start and quit. So load up Barbarous, get your 15 executions (remember the little symbol above an enemies head and then http://www.xboxachievements.com/images/site/icons/xb1/rt.png), finish the map, and keep replaying it until you snag seven Barbarous completions. You can keep your achievement tracker snapped to keep your progress locked in. Conclusion to Title Update Achievements: Well ladies and gents, there isn't any new content, no new maps or enemies, or joyous Roman slaying to be had with this update. We are simply 'gifted' 250http://www.xboxachievements.com/images/site/icons/xb1/gs.png that can be racked up easily in under one hour. While this may be a moral buster to those who no longer own the game, it is a great sign that maybe, just maybe we will return to do the bidding of the empire once again in another installment. Here's to that! Achievement Guide: http://www.xboxachievements.com/images/achievements/1505/99870-lo.jpg Et tu, Brute 100http://www.xboxachievements.com/images/site/icons/xb1/gs.png Save the Emperor (finish chapter 1) and then kill him (finish chapter 8) For most people who have already played the game, this may unlock for you automatically, or may be stuck at "Done, unlocking..." If you get the latter, there are two alternatives for you to use. You can either wait out the achievement to unlock, or you can replay the first/maybe last chapter. For me, I had it stuck at the done unlocking and replayed the first chapter on the easiest difficulty. During the final cutscene the achievement unlocked. It has been reported that simply replaying the first chapter did not work for some people and they instead had to do both the first and last. If this the case for you, simply replay them both to unlock the achievement. http://www.xboxachievements.com/images/achievements/1505/99871-lo.jpg Madness in March 100http://www.xboxachievements.com/images/site/icons/xb1/gs.png Play seven multiplayer games on Barbarous Load up multiplayer, head to solo maps, and choose Barbarous. You will need to complete the entire map and will not be able to "die out" or quit out to unlock progress for this achievement. The map takes approximately eight minutes to complete if you fly through the enemies and know where to be and where to drop your abilities for maximum efficiency. after the seventh map completion of Barbarous the achievement will unlock. http://www.xboxachievements.com/images/achievements/1505/99872-lo.jpg Beware the Ides of March 50http://www.xboxachievements.com/images/site/icons/xb1/gs.png Complete 15 executions in a single multiplayer game You may have already unlocked this achievement, and it may actually be time-stamped at an earlier date so the first step would be to find out where it is. If you still have yet to unlock it, load up Barbarous and ensure that you execute the first 15 enemies you battle. There are probably close to 40 enemies total not counting minions in the second to last objective that can be executed for credit. By stacking your executions with "Madness in March" you can ensure you do not play a map that is not necessary for completing an achievement. Lord Revan
for the Et Tu, Brute achievement, all I had to do was continue checkpoint from my last save, and the cheeve popped during the ending cutscene.
THE DEADLY DOG
for the Et Tu, Brute achievement, all I had to do was continue checkpoint from my last save, and the cheeve popped during the ending cutscene. Awesome, I tried that from my last point in the story, but I was not on either chap 1 nor final chap.
Fiery Phoenix
I can confirm if you just reload your last checkpoint from the final chapter and beat the game again from there, you'll get the Brute achievement. You only need to have completed the game before.

Fiery Phoenix
Sweet. I'll have to pop this in some time for an easy score. What a weird title update. I know! Completely out of the blue. I was confused as to where those extra GS points came from. They probably just needed an excuse to get it to 2000G, which seems to be the sweet spot these days. Eggnogga
Random update, but I'll take it. It got me to play a little more multiplayer yesterday. I managed to get to level 49. Seriously, how in the hell do people have the patience to grind to level 200 in this game?! Props to those people.

Aceman417
It's not so bad when you partner up with someone and you enjoy the company. Also the fact that when you unlock better gear, it makes it a lot easier to level up.
