I ended up getting 3 NBK medals after switching to a Bezerker. I have two Super Premium weapons and a level 15 Magic Armor, plus a Premium pirate hat and some other accessory to buff my skills. Took me a good 75+ hours to get 6 total Hero medals.

Wow, some time spent. At least you got at least 6 Medals so cheevo unlocked. In all, I think my 6 Medals (with some luck in getting matched), took around 5H to complete once I figured out where/how to play.

lol yeah I spent a lot of time not even trying to go for NBK. But once I got better at figuring out how to get efficient kills as a Bezerker thats when I started beasting. Only 90 medals away from getting the 1000 Medals achievement as well. The grind is so real but I love it!

I really, really wish the previous Hero's Medals counted. I'd be at least at 4 by now, but c'est la vie, this is just a time-killer game, anyway.

 

Got an NBK the day after I made my last post. Went 30-0 and died, like IMMEDIATELY after I got the 30th kill, haha. It was a quad-kill of some guys summoning a Tornado, and they unleashed it apparently at the same time that I killed them. Quad-kill for me, single kill for the summoner. Suckers

Getting NBK is going to be a lot harder now that they have changed how co-op mode works. Damnit. I still need 5 Hero medals.

for anyone trying to get NBK, i recommend using the mage with fire enchant and just spamming from a distance, you can get around 20 kills a match from this alone, and then meteor/tornado count as your kills.

Can the shapeshift skill be randomly given to you while playing, or do you need to get it on a mage helm?

There are 3 skills on the xbox one version you need

 

 

Cleric - Aura (its a buff on a weapon) It gives everyone in a circle AP back for a couple sec

 

Mage - Shapshifter (Its a buff on a armor or helmet) It lets you change into a rock or tree

 

 

Warrior - Shield Charge (Its a buff on a armor or helmet) It lets you charge with your shield.

 

 

I was like you until I found this info on another site.
