Question about the optional challenges

Recommended Posts

So like all the side missions and associate missions like freeing the children and Templar hunt etc; do you need to complete the optional challenges for all of them?

If you go for those achievements, you need to complete optional challenges 3 times for each type of activity, except for Child Liberation missions. However, doing all optional challenges is recommended because that gives you more money and XP.

Using the world challenges is confusing.

There is side missions, and associate missions.

For side missions, there are achievements for doing three of each. Just check your achievement list. You also need to do every side mission to unlock Street Sweeping.

As for associate, you just need to get one associate to max rank. As there is also one for completing world war 2 (which also maxes an associate) you can get away with just doing that.

From a rewards point of view, doing more is helpful. From an achievement point of view, it's not needed.

I think you are getting confused, pretty sure he means the optional objective for example "Kill x with a hidden blade" on a Templar Hunt or "Don't raise an alarm" in a save the children side quest. Someone has already said that you don't need to complete them all though :D
