Introduction:

"Zenith is an action RPG that combines that feel of the golden era RPG games with a generous dose of humor and parody. The game counts with a solid story which unfolds in a fantasy world populated by dozens of unorthodox characters. Adventuring, exploring ruins, accidentally unleashing the apocalypse, saving the world… you’ve done it all, and so has Argus. And, frankly, he’s a bit fed up with the whole thing. He used to be a wizard, which was fine and all, but he’s in his 30s now, and he wants to settle down, get some peace and quiet. But that’s not easy to get with all those spike-haired buffoons dragging their giant swords around and ruining the pavement. Specially when you’re trying to keep a dangerous artifact hidden from meddling heroes with a chosen one complex."

Playthrough:

Pretty much all 12 achievements in the game are story related. You could technically not get the ones for kills and smashing objects if you just run through all the levels and didn't actually fight anything or look for gold, but I think most people will do that. Once you get 100 barrels and 500 kills, you can indeed rush past most enemies and just interact with story items to quickly finish the game. If you are stuck at any point you can refer to

Defeat 500 enemies

You should have no issues getting this in the course of normal play, so long as you don't run past all the enemies. Most of the levels do not actually require you to kill anything to progress, so it's possible that you could not get this achievement. However, if you play the game like normal it will come well before the end. I got mine in the swamp area. If you need extra kills, all the blue portals on the world map spawn a large number of enemies.

Destroy 100 barrels

The game considers a "barrel" to be anything you can smash. These items will have a blue highlight around them when you get close. You should get this toward the end of the second area, maybe the beginning of the third if you smash everything you see.
