Finished at 10 hours but I played half the game while Ill which didn't help. Depends how good you are at the Sonic 3 blue sphere special stages everything else is easy.

Just got the last achievement, the Game Hub tells me I played for 9h 37m.

 

A good few hours of that was replaying the game so I could go for "Collect 'Em All" without a CPU player getting in the way, though. So if you want to do this as quickly as possible, you can knock a few hours off by not playing as Sonic & Tails. Probably still 6-10 hours, but the low end instead of the high end. Maaaaybe you can squeak into the 0-5 hour range if you're really good at the special stages. But 6-10 hours is the safe bet.

Ever since Sonic the Hedgehog 2 special stages when i was a child i've played with Sonic only, Tails always fucked me over somehow.

In all honesty, the game doesn't seem like it'll take too long to truly complete. Crushing blocks are really the only problem the game seems to even have and the blue spheres from sonic 3 seem a bit annoying so far, but overall, this'll probably take about 10 hours or so
