Achievement Discussion

It's a side mission (called Reunion), for what it's worth.

But anywoo, once you complete it (by escorting the albino crocodile and Tahira back to the ruins -- Sobek's child leads the way), all the other crocs should be hostile (and the albino should disappear). Have you tried it in another location?

Also, the achievement for the mission is a story mission, where the Crocodile is one of your targets (they all have an animal alias) -- it has nothing to do with the actual crocs.

Yes i have completed the whole story game missions and now just working on side missions and doing all the locations. But cant do any of the crocodile ones cause they all have the little green arrow over their head showing they are friendly. They don't attack me and i also can't damage them

I took a picture. Can you explain this? This is what im talking about. All locations the crocs are my friends. They will eat my horse when i get off of it but i can't kill them and when i tame an animal the crocs wont attack it either. You can see the little green arrrows above their heads showing they are allies. Just don't know what else too do now that I have finished the story

This is probably a long shot but I had a glitch where my game thought I was in combat even though I wasn’t. This prevented me from completing an objective and I couldn’t fast travel, use the dusk and dawn ability, etc. Exiting and re-entering the animus fixed it (hold up on the d-pad while on the quest or gear screen to play as Layla). Maybe try that?

Only other thing I can think of is are you sure you completed the mission? Might be worth checking the quests screen just to make sure. There were a couple missions I thought I completed because they somehow came “untracked” - manually tracking them on the quests screen made the objectives reappear.

I figured it out! Apparently i never finished the side mission after i did the big white croc. There was a second part and i tracked another story mission. So for the large marjority of the game crocs were my friends which helped out alot cause they would fight everybody else off. Haha but i got if fixed thanks for the feed back ya'll

Anyone have any idea if Triathelete doesn't count the automatic mount riding? It's the only thing I can think of.

1500m swimming is absolutely nothing. I completed the 15 underwater locations and crossed over to land many times before noticing the achievement. To be safe I purposely swam 600m. So unless I somehow did all that without swimming 900m which I doubt. I must have the 1500.

According to Ubisoft club I've traveled 459k. That's insane.

To think I somehow traveled 459k without exceeding 40k on a mount or 10k while running is insane to me.

Just to be safe before posting this I swam another 600-700m to absolutely rule out swimming. Almost makes me wonder if there is something I don't get about RUNNING lol. You run basically everytime you move. Multiple times I noticed to myself how we seem to run pretty fast as 300-400m runs aren't really all that far as I did them countless times to objectives.

I can say im positive I did everything required. EXCEPT Manually ride a mount more than 40k. That is the only possibility.

I'm 99% sure I unlocked the achievement while having the auto-run on for the horse.

Appreciate the reply but im an absolute moron....

I already unlocked in in November. I tricked myself because I hadn't gotten that far in the game and stopped playing for awhile then came back around to the game after a month of not playing. Saw some of the secret ones gameplay related and somehow thought I hadn't unlocked that one. The irony is you can probably unlock that in a couple hours of play if I had it that early...

Same here...I suspect it are two secret achievements of the DLC Hidden Ones. But no idea why, all missions are noted as completed.

Any news on old habits getting fixed?

With the game being almost 5 years old and three AC games ago, it's highly unlikely that Ubi even cares about this game anymore.

People have suggestions in the TA comments for the achievement. One posted a spreadsheet with all the locations to check if one isn't showing on your map. Unfortunately the only way to unlock this achievement now is to double (and triple) check every single location.
