Introduction:
This game is a post-apocolyptic story following two men who travel through parts of Russia after a pandemic wiped out most of the population, dealing with challenges along the way where you must adapt to survive to finally find your home after the long journey.

*WARNING*
I came across a bug that prevents you from progressing. When you equip your knife, there is a chance it stops interacting with objects, picking up items related to the story, and you will not be able to unequip unless you to pause and choosing restart. This only happened in the Farm/Barn area for myself but could happen in more locations.

Also, the save system is a mystery, you can not manual save but rely on the games auto save system, but it does not alert you to when it saves. So best practise would be to finish the chapter before you exit the game.

Abbreviated Walkthrough:
This game is pretty straight forward and guides you along the way and tells you what you need to do at times but leaves you to figure out how to go about what needs doing or finding. There are only two areas where you must deal with enemies. Just below I have set out a guide for achievements in the order and where you unlock them so you can focus more on the game. You can tell the location when you pause as it will tell you where you are just under the big 35MM.

Starting area:Farm/Barn area:Trolley area:Arrival area:Flashback:Escape:Bor:Tunnels:Danger:Big City:Game completion achievements:For these achievements, you require to have a certain morale score by the time you reach the end. You obtain this score from certain acts or collectibles you find, here is a link for a detailed list, you can stop collecting once you are at the required amount.

For myself, I was at 15 morale when exiting the metro, got Repose (50G)  then reloaded and picked up a few collectibles and obtained The past is always with us (60G). Continue to live?? (90G) is tricky; to start a new  game, you must delete your save, go offline start the game and play until you are sure of a auto save. Close the game, go online and then boot the game chosing local save data (NOT CLOUD DATA). Xbox removed the option 'remove from everywhere' during a previous update.

Mop-Up:
After completing the game and if by any chance you didnt unlock some achievements, you can chapter select. If you followed this guide you should just have Continue to live?? (90G) left to finish on another playthrough.

Conclusion:
This game was slow to start off with but soon picked up slightly. It was an enjoyable game but simple and not too challenging that guides you along the way, to me its one of those hidden gems you play inbetween fast passed games i would recommend playing this.

  • Listen to the sound anomaly at the first location

    *MISSABLE*

    Farm/Barn area

From the barn turn left and head in that direction. You will find a lighter in the second house on the left; it will be on a shelf by a stove. After you pick up the lighter, exit the house and head left again. You will soon see the church up on a hill. Head to the church and enter from the right side. You will then see a small alter with candles on either side so go ahead and light the candles on the right.
  • Kill grandmother in the old village

    *MISSABLE*

    Farm/Barn area (after collecting water)

After you have collected the water and saw the scene, you will wake up in the morning. Head past the well to the next area and up to the second house on the left (the man traveling with you will guide you toward the house also). Enter the house and pick up the axe then read the note on the table. Now push the wardrobe out the way to reveal a door and enter to find the grandmother sitting in the chair. Use the axe to kill her.
  • Hero

From when you get off the rail cart you need to be quick and be quicker than the man you are with at acting and arriving first.

    40

Rate the abstract picture on location "Bor"

    *MISSABLE*

    Bor area

While following the video in Top Secret (50G) where you enter the building to the right, go up the first set of stairs you will see a closed door to the right. Open this door and go through then through the partition to and turn to see a picture on the wall (green and blue pattern). Interact with the picture to unlock the achievement.
  • Find "easter egg" from the first game of author

  • Find secret documents in the safe

    *MISSABLE*

    Bor area

This is a bit long winded so have found a video to direct you better. A note though, the video is not entirely accurate as the battery has multiple spawn points to the left like in the video or to the right of the start between the buses next to a car are two locations I know of.
  • Listen to the radio signal in tunnels

    *MISSABLE*

    Tunnels area

After you have used the code on the door (code is found in one of the rooms my the large vent and back of hallway. When you enter the room where you can see a bottle behind a grate climb on the box and break the grate with your axe and you will find a letter with the code on), you will be chased into the next area. Follow the hallway around to what looks like someone hanging and enter the door on the right and use the radio at the back of the room.
  • Find anomalous zone in the tunnels

    *MISSABLE*

    Tunnels area

When you start in the tunnels, you will soon come to a area with a red revolving light between two tunnels to take. Head down the right tunnel and not far down your character will make a comment and the achievement will unlock.
  • Friend

    50

Give your partner a first aid kit

    *MISSABLE*

    Escape area

After you have escaped from the van and ran rast the containers, the man traveling with you will fall and ask if you have a first aid kit for him. Press button-a.png over him to give him one (you must have picked up a first aid kit by this point on your travels).
  • Kill all wolves without reloading weapons

    *MISSABLE*

    Danger area

As you pass through the tunnels, you will come to an area where you drop down and find an AK-47 on a dead body. Right after that five wolves will show. You need to kill the wolves without emptying the magazine and reloading.

What I did was from when you start after the scene, run forward to the right corner killing the wolf along the way, then turn around and hold  lb.png to crouch and make it easier to aim and the wolves level. Then, hold and release rt.png for controlled bursts. The wolves dont come too fast at you and able to kill them as they come closer.
  • Call to Hell

    *MISSABLE*

    Flashback

After you chose to sleep after helping the old man, you will have a flashback where you are sitting ready you use a phone. Before you dial the correct number out of the selection next to the phone dial 666-66-66 and wait you hear the strange noise (written numbers look like 7 but are 1).
  • Open the safe in the city

    *MISSABLE*

    Big City area

From leaving the metro, head right to the buses and enter the window on the building to the right and find the passport in there (remember the four numbers circles on the passport). Exit the way you came in then head back toward the metro and head to the right and follow the path then around the buildings until you see a man breaking into a hut. Look to the right side of the road to find a building with the door open. Go into this building and upstairs. The safe will be in a corner of a room by a window. Enter the code from the passport here to open the safe.
  • Find a room with mannequins in city

    *MISSABLE*

    Big City area

Fom the start where you leave the metro station, turn right and head towards the crashed buses. There will be a broken window to the building on the right where you can climb through make your way through and clinb out into a small courtyard and through a door that leads down to another door to open. Open the door and enter the room with the mannequins.
  • Repose

    50

    Die

    Big City

To unlock this, you need to have a low moral point score (you can see the score on the inventory looking for the hand at the bottom centre with a number next to it). The collectibles throughout the game affect the score so be careful not to collect too many.

By the time I exited the metro, I had a moral score of 15 and with that, near the end of the game, you will follow a lady asking for help to just be stabbed. After this carry on to finish the game and it will unlock.
  • Reach the finals alone

    Big City

See Repose (50G) for more information.

For this you need to have arount the moral score of 19. Collectibles affect this score.

Upon leaving the metro, I had a moral score of 15 in this area and looked for few more collectibles which took me to the minimum needed. You can tell if you have done it right from near the end of the game when the woman shouts for help; you will ignore her and carry on walking past. Now, if that has already happened, carry on to complete the game.
  • Reach the finals with a partner

    Big City

For this achievement, it requires that you find almost all the collectibles and have around the moral score of 24. You will know when you have enough when after the metro underground part the man traveling with you is there to help you up. He is not there for Repose (50G) or The past is always with us (60G). Here is a guide to help locate enough collectables.
  • Listen the airwaves in the hospital

    Starting area

At the end of the starting area, after being chased by the bear, you find yourself having a vision of being in a hospital. Exit your room and head along the hallway, checking each room until you see a radio. Simply go to the radio and use it.
  • Assemble the children's puzzle

    *MISSABLE*

    Arrival area (overnight)

After you have helped the man, he will welcome you to stay overnight. When you stand from the table, turn around and see a boy sitting trying to complete the puzzle and asking for help. Interact with the puzzle and to move the puzzle pieces (hold rt.png while over the piece). This is a simple enough jigsaw with a picture of two cats which is easy to match up.
