Introduction:
Aery - A new Frontier is a story-driven 3D flight exploration game in which you control a bird-like creature in space and on distant planets. You can observe how humanity slowly evolves, inhabits new planets and discovers the secrets of the galaxy.

While you progress through the story, you will be able to see the different stages in which humanity has been at every state of their evolution. The story itself talks about different events and milestones that have been reached as well as different happenings in between. You can quite literally fly through space and time and different stages of human development. Follow an interesting story through a wonderful, peaceful sci-fi world and enjoy the speed of flying at the same time.

This story-driven game is non-violent so that you can enjoy the intuitive and relaxing gameplay in 8 giant different stages that are waiting to be explored.” - xbox.com

Abbreviated Walkthrough:
The object of the game is simple; fly around each of the 10 levels and collect feathers. After collecting each feather, you are told a segment of a story for that memory that furthers the narrative of the game. When you complete one level, you continue onto the next. All of the achievements are story-related so by completing the game you earn the full 1000gs.png.

Note: On all 8 levels, only one feather is on screen at any given time, so collecting it will make the next one appear. While this is done for narrative purposes, it makes the game slower than others in the series as you can only collect feathers in a specific order instead of at your leisure.

The controls are basic; analog-left.png or analog-right.png controls the flying and rotates the camera and lb.png and rb.png performs barrel rolls. Pressing and holding button-a.png or lt.png allows you to fly faster, which is helpful while playing the larger levels like Level 6, ‘Imprisonment’. The flying mechanics are simple to learn so you shouldn’t have much trouble.

Also, if you happen to crash, you are placed back at the position of last feather collected, not the start of the level. This is most helpful on the more sizeable levels.

Most of the feathers are out in the open and easy to find, but there are some that are obscured from view. For the most part, they are in a relative straight line from each other, but in some levels there are some where you need to make a 90-180 degree turn to find the next one. The feathers are colored a shade of red and give off a yellow/greenish glittering effect which can generally be seen from a distance (on most levels). Some of the levels are more expansive than others, too, so you may be searching for a while. If you have any issues finding feathers, you can always refer to the video in Iteration (100G).

Conclusion:
Aery - A New Frontier follows the previous titles in this series as yet another relaxing and stress-free game. EpiXR continues to improve the series by making feathers more noticeable, giving you the ability to speed up and the introduction of a checkpoint system. Enjoy your 1000gs.png!

There are 10 achievements with a total of 1000 points

  • Space

    100

    Finish the 1st level

There are 39 feathers to collect in the level ‘Space’. A counter appears at the bottom-right corner of the screen after you collect the first feather. Most of them are visible and out in the open but since there is no map, if you are having trouble locating any, refer to the video in Iteration (100G) (timestamps have been provided in the YouTube comments section).
  • Landing

    100

    Finish the 2nd Level

There are 35 feathers to collect in the level ‘The Landing’. A counter appears at the bottom-right corner of the screen after you collect the first feather. Most of them are visible and out in the open but since there is no map, if you are having trouble locating any, refer to the video in Iteration (100G) (timestamps have been provided in the YouTube comments section).
  • Finish The 3rd Level

There are 40 feathers to collect in the level ‘Wilderness’. A counter appears at the bottom-right corner of the screen after you collect the first feather. Most of them are visible and out in the open but since there is no map, if you are having trouble locating any, refer to the video in Iteration (100G) (timestamps have been provided in the YouTube comments section).
  • Finish The 4th Level

There are 40 feathers to collect in the level ‘Discovery’. A counter appears at the bottom-right corner of the screen after you collect the first feather. Most of them are visible and out in the open but since there is no map, if you are having trouble locating any, refer to the video in Iteration (100G) (timestamps have been provided in the YouTube comments section).
  • Energy

    100

    Finish The 5th Level

There are 44 feathers to collect in the level ‘Energy’. A counter appears at the bottom-right corner of the screen after you collect the first feather. Most of them are visible and out in the open but since there is no map, if you are having trouble locating any, refer to the video in Iteration (100G) (timestamps have been provided in the YouTube comments section).

Caution: At the time of writing, feather #44 is inaccessible by normal means due to an invisible wall. To get past this, as you are approaching the final feather in the diamond structure, line up directly with it then speed up by holding button-a.png and keep barrel rolling (lb.png or rb.png) to break through the wall. If you’re lined up correctly, you will collect it. If not, you will hit the invisible wall and return to where you picked up the previous feather. There is also a chance that you will break through the wall but be caught in a constant circling motion, so if that happens, try to elevate or descend to collect the feather.
  • Finish The 6th Level

There are 37 feathers to collect in the level ‘Imprisonment’. A counter appears at the bottom-right corner of the screen after you collect the first feather. Most of them are visible and out in the open but since there is no map, if you are having trouble locating any, refer to the video in Iteration (100G) (timestamps have been provided in the YouTube comments section).

Note: This is a long level, and you may seem to get lost in it. For instance, when you go through the gates, just keep flying straight until you reach the next portal to collect the next feather.
  • Finish The 7th Level

There are 37 feathers to collect in the level ‘Vanishing’. A counter appears at the bottom-right corner of the screen after you collect the first feather. Most of them are visible and out in the open but since there is no map, if you are having trouble locating any, refer to the video in Iteration (100G) (timestamps have been provided in the YouTube comments section).
  • Finish The 8th Level

There are 50 feathers to collect in the level ‘Iteration’. A counter appears at the bottom-right corner of the screen after you collect the first feather. Most of them are visible and out in the open but since there is no map, if you are having trouble locating any, refer to the video below.

Note: There is an incessant fog-like effect throughout this level, thus making the feathers difficult to see. Often they will be so far in the distance that you don’t know if you are traveling in the right direction. While this was done for narrative purposes, it’s an annoying effect.
