Introduction:
“In Aery - Dreamscape, you play as a bird-like spirit who can enter the minds of other people in order to explore their thoughts, their secrets, and their imagination. Each person has their own imaginary world and each world represents the thoughts, fears, and ambitions of that person in an interesting and mostly abstract way. Within an imaginary world, you have to find a certain amount of memory shards to advance with the story and to get to know more about the person in question. Once you have found all memory shards you are free to leave the world again and search for the next mind you want to explore. Therefore every single imagination world acts as its own small story with its very own theme, design elements, and obstacles. Experience the feeling of flying, immerse into beautiful and atmospheric landscapes and enjoy the unique storytelling of the game while getting to know a lot of interesting people on the way.” - microsoft.com

Abbreviated Walkthrough:
The object of the game is simple; fly around each of the 12 levels and collect feathers. After collecting each feather, you are told a segment of a story for that memory that furthers the narrative of the game. All of the achievements are story-related so by completing the game you earn the full 1000gs.png.

The controls are basic; analog-left.png or analog-right.png controls the flying and rotates the camera and lb.png and rb.png performs barrel rolls. New to this game is the ability to fly faster, which is accomplished by holding button-a.png; you will probably be doing this the majority of the time.

Most of the feathers are out in the open and easy to find, but there are some that are obscured from view. The feathers are colored a shade of red in this game and give off a yellow/greenish glittering effect which can generally be seen from a distance (on most levels), which is an improvement in this game. Some of the levels are more expansive than others, too, so you may be searching for a while. If you have any issues finding feathers, you can always refer to the video in In the Forest (80G).

Note: In 11 of the 12 levels, only one feather is on screen at any given time, so collecting it will make the next one appear. While this is done for narrative purposes, it makes the game slower than the previous games as you can only collect one feather at a time. The only exception to this is Level 8.

If you crash, you are placed back at the starting position, but you retain all the feathers collected up to that point. This can be frustrating as in many of the levels you fly farther away from the starting point the more feathers you collect, making backtracking tedious. Luckily, the flying mechanics are simple to learn so you shouldn’t have much trouble.

Conclusion:
Aery - Dreamscape follows the previous titles in this series as yet another relaxing and stress-free game. The coloring of the feathers and the ability to speed up are improvements over the previous games, but the lack of a checkpoint system if you crash and showing which direction to go are still things they need to address. Enjoy your 1000gs.png!

There are 13 achievements with a total of 1000 points

  • Enter the Hub World

This unlocks when you start the game and enter the hub world for the first time.

To begin each level, fly around the hub world and look for numbered doors, 1 through 12. In each room, there is a portal embedded in a person, so fly into it to access each level.

WARNING: After completing each level, you return to the hub to fly to the next level. However, after completing Levels 4 and 5, you are automatically transported to Level 12. If you want to complete the levels in order, simply press button-menu.png and return to the main menu. Then, restart the game and fly around the hub until you see the desired door.
  • Finish Level 1

There are 31 feathers to collect in this level. A counter appears at the bottom-right corner of the screen after you collect the first feather. Most of them are visible and out in the open but since there is no map, if you are having trouble locating any, refer to the video in In the Forest (80G) (timestamps have been provided in the YouTube comments section).
  • Finish Level 2

There are 23 feathers to collect in this level. A counter appears at the bottom-right corner of the screen after you collect the first feather. Most of them are visible and out in the open but since there is no map, if you are having trouble locating any, refer to the video in In the Forest (80G) (timestamps have been provided in the YouTube comments section).
  • Finish Level 3

There are 22 feathers to collect in this level. A counter appears at the bottom-right corner of the screen after you collect the first feather. Most of them are visible and out in the open but since there is no map, if you are having trouble locating any, refer to the video in In the Forest (80G) (timestamps have been provided in the YouTube comments section).
  • Finish Level 4

There are 28 feathers to collect in this level. A counter appears at the bottom-right corner of the screen after you collect the first feather. Most of them are visible and out in the open but since there is no map, if you are having trouble locating any, refer to the video in In the Forest (80G) (timestamps have been provided in the YouTube comments section).
  • Finish Level 5

There are 19 feathers to collect in this level. A counter appears at the bottom-right corner of the screen after you collect the first feather. Most of them are visible and out in the open but since there is no map, if you are having trouble locating any, refer to the video in In the Forest (80G) (timestamps have been provided in the YouTube comments section).

Note: The final five feathers are in the giant cylindrical area with the giant spaceship. Because of the vastness of the area, the feathers are difficult to locate. It is recommended that you view the 100% video starting at [39:20] for their locations.
  • Finish Level 6

There are 26 feathers to collect in this level. A counter appears at the bottom-right corner of the screen after you collect the first feather. Most of them are visible and out in the open but since there is no map, if you are having trouble locating any, refer to the video in In the Forest (80G) (timestamps have been provided in the YouTube comments section).
  • Finish Level 7

There are 24 feathers to collect in this level. A counter appears at the bottom-right corner of the screen after you collect the first feather. Most of them are visible and out in the open but since there is no map, if you are having trouble locating any, refer to the video in In the Forest (80G) (timestamps have been provided in the YouTube comments section).

Note: Locating feathers in this level might be difficult for some because the buildings are a similar color as the feathers.
  • War

    80

    Finish Level 8

Note: This is the only level where all of the feathers are on screen at the same time.

Take note that there is a feather in the starting room. Also, crashing is very possible while playing this level so using the speed boost is probably not recommended in the first section of the level.
  • Finish Level 9

There are 30 feathers to collect in this level. A counter appears at the bottom-right corner of the screen after you collect the first feather. Most of them are visible and out in the open but since there is no map, if you are having trouble locating any, refer to the video in In the Forest (80G) (timestamps have been provided in the YouTube comments section).
