Marketplace DLC:
There are a number of paid downloads you can get from the Xbox Store to significantly make your completion easier, if you can afford it. You could easily double the cost of the game this way if you're not careful. I would highly suggest Encounter Green Orb so you can set your encounters to "every step" or "none" depending on the situation. That one is quite cheap. The Full Recovery Green Orb is also a huge help, bringing your HP/MP to max after each battle. From there, the Damage Green Orb (2x damage) and Experience Green Orb (200% xp gained) are also great. However, this totals $16 USD which is more than the cost of the game itself. Your choice of course, but pick and choose as you can afford.

In-Game Shops:
There are two different "premium" currencies to earn in the game. The first is Holy Stones which you'll have 1000 of to start, and will earn 10 more for every five battles you fight. Bear in mind, you must actually fight the battles, so having the "auto-complete" option turned on to skip fights against monsters weaker than you won't count. In this shop you can get the "Secret Present" which helps max your trust with the ladies very quickly. There are also "Treasury Keys" which will unlock areas in the game to get four chests in each spot (you get two of these during gameplay, so only buy four). You can also buy more Green Orb items which will increase rewards from battle if you want.

The second type is the Guild Coin, which is earned in arena battles or by dispatching your buddies on three hour missions. You will want to buy the Heavy Jewel and Spike Jewel so you can traverse slide tiles and ice, respectively (this will help get more treasure chests). From there, you can get the individualized presents which also increase trust, but at a much slower rate than the Secret Present. You'll also want to get the "Rare Jewel" items to increase the chance of getting weapon drops for infusion.

The absolutely best way to get both of these is by repeating the Hard Maid Cup battle. It only takes a minute or so and nets you 100 of both types.

Step 1: Complete the Normal End
There is nothing missable in this game and it can be played entirely on Easy if you'd like. You do get more rewards from battle on higher difficulties, so keep that in mind. Follow along with the Trust GuideSubquest Guide, and Treasure Guide to make progress on all of those related achievements. Also be sure to start planting seeds and sending buddies on errands to work on those, and continue to do so through each step.

Step 2: Complete the True End
After beating the base part of the game for the Normal End, you will create a clear save file and will load that up and face the boss a second time. This time, a new dialogue option will pop up. Choose to trust Celine to continue with more quests. While you complete these, you'll be able to finish the final few subquests of the game and find the remaining chests as well.

Step 3: End-Game Content
The basic four difficulties of the battle arena found in the Guild will be a breeze at this point. Complete bronze, silver, gold, and Maid difficulties to get four quick achievements. The secret battle arena is another story, however, and will require you to grind out large numbers of levels. There are a few great spots which can be found here. Once you're near the level cap (it only takes an hour or less to go from 100 to 999), the battle arena won't be an issue.

You also need to max out a weapon at +999, which is easiest done by abusing weapon drops for Nadine on a specific island. Check the "True Craftsman" achievement for info on that. Finally, see "Everyone is Happy" for how to max out all the trust levels to get the final ending of the game, which should be your last achievement. If you still need any random ones like 200 hits, 999999 damage, or plant harvests/buddy dispatches, see the descriptions below to finish those off.

There are 34 achievements with a total of 1000 points

  • Walked 5000 steps.

    See "Globetrotter" for more info.

  • Walked 50000 steps.

    See "Globetrotter" for more info.

  • Walked 100000 steps.

This achievement will easily come as you play through the story, probably about halfway through.

  • Collected 50 treasure chests.

See "Master Collector" for more info.

  • Collected 100 treasure chests.

See "Master Collector" for more info.

  • Collected all 280 treasure chests.

Despite the achievement description saying "all" 280 chests, there are actually 308 total available in the game. This guide has all the chests listed from the first two world maps of the game (which covers up through the "Normal End" of the game) and consists of about 220 chests. The rest can easily be found on the third map when going for the "True End" of the game. A number of these you'll need to make note of when you skip them due to low skill checks and come back when your trust is higher with the appropriate character. With all the chests in the True End path, you'll probably only need to come back and get about half the ones you skipped.

Note: I never did figure out how to open the locked door in Arnolt Temple that says it would open at a specific time. There are a bunch of chests behind it, but I got the achievement easily without it.

  • Achieved 10 consecutive hits.

See "Combo Pro" for more info.

  • Achieved 50 consecutive hits.

See "Combo Pro" for more info.

  • Achieved 200 consecutive hits.

My method of getting this achievement was to equip every type of hit multiplying Jewel onto Zack (Octupler is best for 8x hits) as well as a Hitman Jewel which doubles all the hits. With this I was able to get 64 hits per attack. You'll also want to put the Next Jewel on him so when he kills an enemy, you have a chance to immediately attack the next enemy. Doing this, I killed two enemies in a row and got up over 100 hits. After that, use the "I Like You, Too." skill with Uriel when her turn comes up which doubles the current hit counter and will immediately unlock the achievement.

  • Dealt 10000+ damage in a single attack after completing main quest 10.

See "Ender of Enders" for more info.

  • Dealt 100000+ damage in a single attack after completing main quest 10.

See "Ender of Enders" for more info.

  • Dealt 999999 damage in a single attack after completing main quest 10.

I got this achievement when I was about Level 60-70 and had been using all in INT fruits on Stella. Make sure you've been learning new magic with her by equipping Jewels, and she should have some very good spells eventually. Using a single target spell (it was some kind of laser beam), I got the achievement no problem. Considering we'll be getting our characters up near the level max of 999 to complete the secret battle arena, this should come along the way without issue.

Note: This damage dealt must be a single attack on a single enemy. Skills and magic that target multiple enemies and give a total damage done between all hits do not count.

  • Synthesized a weapon to level 10.

See "True Craftsman" for more info.

  • Forger

    20

Synthesized a weapon to level 100.

See "True Craftsman" for more info.

  • Synthesized a weapon to level 999.

Weapons increase in level by combining similar types (for instance, Zack must combine weapons he can equip to increase his weapon's level and he can't use Stella's weapons), and each one will give a certain amount of infusion experience to level the base weapon. The quickest way to do this is to try and get some of the "Rare Jewel" items from the Guild shop and "Thief Jewel" items from chests and put one on each character, then go to the spot marked with the number "1" on the map below. You should be getting a few weapon drops for Nadine every battle or two. I was able to get an item maxed out in less than an hour. I was Level 999 and had the auto-complete battle option turned on when I was working on getting these drops.

  • Picker

    10

Harvested from a planter 10 times.

    See "Harvester" for more info.

  • Harvested from a planter 100 times.

This achievement will take basically your entire playthrough to complete without helping it along with consumable items. The shortest time a seed can be planted for is 10 real-time minutes (time moves whether you're actually playing the game or have it closed which is nice), so be sure to check your planters often. If you're using all six, it'll go much more quickly, but I chose to use three for this and three to work on the "Businessman" achievement at the same time.

If you use more time-constrictive seeds (some take up to 2 hours), you may run out of actual gameplay time to do this, and will want to use the "Accelerator" item to auto-complete the growing process. See "Businessman" for more info on this item.

  • Dispatched buddies 10 times.

    See "Businessman" for more info.

  • Dispatched buddies 100 times.

You will not complete this achievement naturally while playing through the game and completing all the other achievements. The shortest time a buddy can be dispatched for is three hours, but again time moves whether you are in-game or have the game closed. If you're using half your spots for this and you complete the game in a single sitting you'd get a max of 45 dispatches (assuming it took you the full 15 hours of the max estimate).

To make up the rest, you'll want to use the "Accelerator" item which auto-completes a dispatch. You will get a number of these naturally through gameplay, maybe about 20 total from the in-game achievement system, chests, and quest rewards. The rest can be purchased from the Holy Coin shop. Check the Road Map for how to earn these. You can get a stack of 12 Accelerators for only 100 coins, so it won't take much time to buy the rest to complete the achievement.

  • Cleared all subquests.

There are a total of 15 subquests in the game to complete, and a complete list can be found here. None of these are missable, and three are only available on the third world map during the "True End" path of the game. The quests may not be available the very first time you arrive in a new location, so just keep checking back after every few story quests to check for that speech bubble with the purple swirl above someone's head to indicate they have a new quest available for you.

The final quest from the Forgotten Village (which is found in the very SE section of the last world map) requires backtracking to the previous 10 towns, which are marked by pink dots on the map. The collectible you're looking for (upside-down teddy bears) are very easy to spot and will always be outside.

  • Newbie

    20

Cleared the bronze cup at the battle arena.

See "Arena Master" for more info.

  • Cleared the silver cup at the battle arena.

See "Arena Master" for more info.

  • Cleared the Gold cup at the battle arena.

See "Arena Master" for more info.

  • Cleared the Maid Cup at the battle arena.

The regular battle arena can be found from the Guild Hall in Gutenberg City. After beating the True End path of the game you should easily be strong enough to do all of these. The Hard difficulty of the Maid Cup is only a suggested level of 65. You do need to complete each difficulty in turn, so do Easy Bronze, Medium Bronze, etc. You could also leave this until after you grind out to Level 999, but there's no reason not to do it now, especially since the Hard Maid Cup gives great rewards.

  • Cleared the highest level at the secret battle arena.

The secret battle arena is found in the Forgotten Village. You will need to be near the level cap of 999 to take on the final boss of this arena (suggested level by the game is 700). You do NOT need to complete the other "lanes" in this arena, so feel free to jump right to the final battle. This fight is very tough, and was really the only time I had to use any revive items. Just use all your highest MP spells and feel free to empty your Trust gauge as well. If you're still having trouble at max level, work on the "True Craftsman" achievement first.

To max out your level, I would suggest using the spot marked with a number "2" on the map below. I was over Level 100 when I first came there and needed to manually fight the battles for a short time, but then I started to auto-complete them. If you have a "Metal Jewel" equipped, you'll get increased occurrences of Metal monsters, which give a ton more experience and can still be auto-completed. You'll see yourself getting 4-10 levels per fight every few seconds and can easily go from Level 100 to 999 in less than an hour.

Secret achievements

  • Watched the opening.

Story related and can not be missed.

  • Ahoy!

    20

    Obtained a ship.

Story related and can not be missed.

  • Made for the east entrance of Yolkai Hollow.

Story related and can not be missed.

  • Decided to persuade companions to work together.

Story related and can not be missed.

  • Resolved to take on the former deities.

Story related and can not be missed.

  • Determined to fight the Angel of Doom.

Story related and can not be missed.

  • Earned the Normal End.

Story related and can not be missed.

  • Earned the True End.

The True End of the game will unlock at the end of the option final portion of the game. After earning the "Memories of Asdivine" achievement, you will create a clear save and be able to fight the "final" boss a second time. This time, a dialogue option will open and you must choose to trust Celine to move forward and unlock more quests and a third world map. Continue with the story to the True End to unlock this achievement.

  • Earned the Happy End.

The "Happy End" is earned by maxing out all your partners' trust levels and completing the True End of the game. This includes Celine, who is not an actual party member. To increase trust levels, you will want to follow this guide which has all the dialogue-based increases. Be sure to choose the top option in the guide which will raise the trust, while the middle and/or bottom options will have no effect or a negative effect.

Unfortunately, doing that will only bring you so far. From there, you will need to use presents to get the rest of way. You can purchase individualized presents for 500 Guild Coins or the "Secret Present" using 160 Holy Coins. See the Road Map for how to obtain coins and below for the effects of these items.

    • Feline Portrait: Nadia +5
    • Flower Bookmark: Uriel +5
    • Catnip: Felix +5
    • World Cookbook: Stella +5
    • Secret Present: Anyone +20

Obviously the Secret Present is the quickest way, but I'd suggest completing all the battle arenas first as you'll get a ton of Guild Coins and there's not much else to spend them on. Buy as many presents as you can that way before turning to the Holy Coins.

The final step of this is to max out Celine's trust. Celine is not in your party and the only way to max her trust is to find 10 stuffed animals throughout the game. You will find one of these in each of the game's towns (excluding her own town of Gutenberg City) and must send them to her room once you find them.

After getting all ten collectibles for Celine, and maxing all the other girls at 200 trust, completing the True End of the game for the Happy End and likely your final achievement.
