One of the more bizarre games of the year, Asura’s Wrath doesn’t cease to entertain, with a vibrant anime styled world, amazing battles and action, and a story that you can’t help to love. While more of the game is told through interactive cut scenes, the actual fights and bosses of the game is the reason gamers will come back for more! This guide aims to help gamers get the full 1000

Note: Don't skip cutscenes! You won't receive achievements for completing the chapter if you do!
Step 1: Normal Difficulty Playthrough
For your first playthrough, it’s recommended to start on Normal rather than easy since there are no difficulty achievements for easy difficulty. Starting on normal will save an extra playthrough. For this one try to aim for an “A” or “S” result in all the episodes, getting at least 10 “S” ranks (this will get two gauges that you will need for the next playthroughs). The other achievements to look out for on normal are the Shut up… achievements. Play the game through on Normal and beat the "Secret Episode" once you finish the game and your first playthrough is complete. You can use unlockable or pre-order bonus gauges as they will not disable any achievements.
Step 2: Blind Master Gauge Playthrough
For this step you will be doing another playthrough with the “Blind Master” gauge equipped. This gauge disables all other gauges in the game, so you’ll need to tread with caution to survive. To make this easier, I’d recommend doing this on easy mode. Also take this opportunity to finish collecting combat achievements that you didn’t finish from the normal playthrough (burst, counters, unlimited mode kills, excellent prompts etc...)
Step 3: Mortal Gauge Playthrough
For this step you will be doing another playthrough with the “Mortal” gauge equipped. This will reduce your life gauge, so again I’d recommend going through on easy for this one.
Step 4: Hard Playthrough
The final playthrough will be dedicated to going through on the hard difficulty. This can be testing, and by now you should have all the gauges unlocked, so equip one of your choice (I recommend the defender or the obliterator gauge) to make this easier. If you would rather cut down on a playthrough, then you can equip either the “mortal” or “blind” gauge to save time, but this can make things much more difficult
Step 5: Unfinished Business
Now all that’s left to do is to get any “S” ranks you missed on normal and hard, and anything else you misse. Use the guide below for specific achievements.
Conclusion
I hope you guys find the game very fun and this guide useful on your road to 1000G, so release the wrath!
Introduction/ Review
After a month's wait, it's finally here. Following after one of the most bizarre endings to a videogame ever, players have been waiting for this epilogue pack to finally see how one of the most creative plotline wraps up. The question is, was this wait worth it?
With full confidence, yes. The last four episodes have some of the most imaginative fights this game has to offer. Some fights of the DLC are recycled from the original content, but this isn't a bad thing, for two reasons:
-These fights have been modified so they aren't completely the same as before
-There are few of these moments where data is recycled
What keeps this fresh and entertaining is that there are new gameplay features added as the story progresses, pushing Asura's wrath beyond its potential, leaving players wanting more. The four episodes consist of boss fights only (excluding one episode) and all of it will keep you hooked from the opening revelations, to the shocking heartbreaking conclusion.
My only complaint would be the story additions. The new villain is so quickly introduced and gives a rapid explanation of his backstory. But this is so quickly explained it's hard to feel whether this person is truly evil, what his ultimate purpose is or where he came from. Sadly these answers are never fully answered, leaving many questions (Not as many as the Mass effect 3 ending plotholes though). The twists in the story change our view on it all together, and you feel that this should've been included on the disk itself, rather than DLC. Also, there is a hint of a sequel, but its too ludicrous to believe if its either legit, or a joke.
Either way, its money well spent, and nicely wraps up this insane game. So now moving onto the achievements. It's not to hard to get the 6 Dlc achievements, as most of them are gained just by a playthrough on any difficulty,"Gaea's champion" is the only real challenge, and only if you haven't got a certain gauge. I'd recommend to start on normal and work your way through it, to get an understanding of what you're up against, then go through on hard for the "Gaea's champion" achievement. Or you could skip the hassle and start on hard from the get go, your choice. So, at long last, lets end the wrath.
