    There are 900 musical notes out there in the world of Banjo-Kazooie. Real gamers collect them all...

     

    There are 100 notes in each of the game's levels, none in Spiral Mountain and none in Gruntilda's Lair. Once you have collected a note the game saves, so you can die or leave the level at any time without fear of having to collect anything over again.

    Here are the locations for all of them.

    i should have this achievement but it wont register for me having it and this is the game im closest to having all gamerscore in. it sucks

    In Banjo's house there is a picture on the wall, if you look at it, a mini-game opens where Bottles lets you create jigsaws - they get very hard but do unlock an achievement if you do all 7. The pictures are scenes from the game and sometimes include musical notes, if you do the puzzles before collecting the notes from those scenes then those notes won't be there when you get to that part of the game. Do the jigsaws last!

    I loved this game as a kid!! Played thro the first few levels again yesterday just for fun dont think il ever stop playing it :)

    note collecting is so much easier on xbox than n64 cos when you died in n64 you had to start all.......over.... again..... i may have thrown the controller or twice.... but fear not my xbox controller never looked better!

    Used to love this game on the N64, almost did Bottles' Puzzles before getting this achievements though. Phew.

    BE SURE TO COLLECT BEFORE DOING THE BOTTLES JIGSAW PUZZLES OTHERWISE IT WILL GLITCH OUT THE FOUR NOTES IN THE BEEHIVE LOCATED IN CLICK CLOCK WOODS.

    I'm not 100% but I think it's only the puzzle for the hive in Click Clock that where the problem is. Just to be safe it's best to collect all notes first or be screwed like I was.
