Abbreviated Walkthrough:
Note: Enemies appear in both ‘Classic’ and ‘Speedrun’ modes, but since you will be playing the majority of the game in ‘Classic Mode’, these will naturally unlock during that playthrough.

Unlike the first Bouncy Bullets, the developers added an ‘invert Y-axis’ option for those who prefer to play inverted.

In ‘Classic Mode’, you should unlock 10 of the game’s 11 achievements. There are 45 levels in total, but you are required to complete only 23 of them for six achievement. The next three achievements are for killing three different enemies, and then there is one for collecting one golden nut, which you will earn in the first level.

The object of each level is to find the portal at the end. Early on in the game, enemies are introduced, but they generally don’t move around (some jump up and down) and their projectiles are easily avoided by strafing. There are three different colored enemies; magenta, yellow and black. For the magenta and yellow ones, you need to shoot the same color bullet as the enemy in order to defeat it (either lt.png or rt.png). For black enemies, they can only be defeated by first bouncing your bullet on a wall or the ground before it hits them. Throughout the later levels, there are no more than 1 to 3 black enemies in any given level, and they are spread out enough as to not all be shooting at you at once.

A few more levels into the game you are introduced to obstacles. Jump pads allow you to reach higher elevations. You will also encounter cannons, which fire a slow-moving rocket, and rotating flamethrowers, but both are in very few levels. There are also spikes and rotating blades, but again, in just a couple of levels. Lasers are prevalent the most, especially in later levels, and are avoided by simply jumping over them; but be careful as they rotate so you need to pay attention to their beams.

The levels will naturally become a little more difficult as you progress. Nothing is too overwhelming and even though there is a time limit to complete each level, you should have enough time to reach the portal at the end.

For the final achievement, Speedrunner (100G), you just need to play one level in ‘Speedrun Mode’. The achievement doesn’t require you to complete it fast, just to complete it.

Conclusion:
Bouncy Bullets 2 is your standard Ratalaika game. The achievements are not that difficult at all, even for the unskilled. Just about all the achievements are progression related so you should unlock the full 1000gs.png in less than a half hour.

Bouncy Bullets 2 Achievement Guide

Show completed achievements
Show secret achievements

There are 11 achievements with a total of 1000 points

  • Get your first golden nut.

You obtain your first golden nut just before the exit on the first level in ‘Classic Mode’. This is unmissable as it is in your path.
  • Defeat your first Magenta enemy.

The Magenta enemy first appears on Level 2. It is ‘standing’ around the first corner at the beginning of the level. To defeat it, press rt.png to shoot magenta bullets. Be careful as it does shoot back.
  • Defeat your first Yellow enemy.

The Yellow enemy first appears on Level 4. From your start point, progress through the level and you will use two jump pads. After you use the second one, you will land on a platform with the yellow enemy at the far end. To defeat it, press lt.png to shoot yellow bullets. Be careful as it does shoot back.
  • Defeat your first Black enemy.

The Black enemy first appears on Level 5 just before the exit. Progress through the level and you will come to an area with a cannon shooting at you. Avoid its projectiles and turn right then right again to face a Magenta enemy. Defeat it then turn left and then left once again and you will see a Black enemy at the end of the corridor.

To defeat it, you can shoot either magenta or yellow projectiles at it, but you must bounce your bullet off a wall or ground before it hits the enemy. Since there are no walls close by, you will need to ricochet your bullet off the ground in front of the enemy so it bounces up to hit it. Be careful as it does shoot back.
  • Complete your first Classic Mode - Easy World level.

This unlocks for completing Level 1 in ‘Classic Mode’. Refer to Advancing Easy World (90G) for more information.
  • Complete your first Classic Mode - Medium World level.

This unlocks for completing Level 16 in ‘Classic Mode’. Refer to Advancing Medium World (90G) for more information.
  • Complete your first Classic Mode - Hard World level.

This unlocks for completing Level 31 in ‘Classic Mode’. Refer to Advancing Hard World (90G) for more information.
  • Complete ten different Classic Mode - Easy World level.

On the main menu, choose ‘Classic Mode’ then select ‘Easy World’. On this difficulty, you are playing the first 10 levels of the game.

In these levels, you are introduced to the mechanics of the game. You will encounter jump pads, a cannon, lasers, and minimal enemies. For each level, there is a 99 second time limit, but you should be able to complete them in half that time. Take your time (not too much, though) and you should have no issues completing these levels.
  • Complete ten different Classic Mode - Medium World level.

On the main menu, choose ‘Classic Mode’ then select ‘Medium World’. On this difficulty, you are playing the Levels 16 through 25 of the game.

In these levels, you will encounter more enemies in each level, often around corners and in tight spaces, as well as more obstacles. Lasers are more frequent as well. You may start having some deaths in these levels but be persistent and you should have no issues completing each level in the time allotted.
  • Complete three different Classic Mode - Hard World level.

On the main menu, choose ‘Classic Mode’ then select ‘Hard World’. On this difficulty, you are playing the Levels 31 through 33 of the game.

Luckily only three levels need to be played for this achievement. Enemy placement is even more than the Medium levels, so you need to be as quick as possible shooting or avoiding them; the platform section in Level 32 is like a gauntlet with enemies shooting at you from both sides. With some practice and memorization, you shall overcome.

Thanks to IBadDriverI for the video:
  • Complete your first Speedrun Mode level.

On the main menu, choose ‘Speedrun Mode’ then select ‘Easy World’. Select ‘Level 1S’ and just complete as there is no time limit.

Note: This level is the same as in ‘Classic Mode’ but without the golden nut.
