Cloning Clyde is a great and goofy game that features a ton of clones named “Clyde” whose objective is to escape from the laboratory in which they are trapped.
Introduction:
Welcome to Cloning Clyde! This game has a total of 12 achievements and requires only one playthrough in order to get the full 200 possible. I gave this game a 2/10 difficulty rating simply because it is a straightforward game with minimal effort required to attain many of the achievements. The challenge modes, while tasking at times can be fun. This game will take roughly 3 to 4 hours depending on your skill level and how quickly you progress through each stage. Obviously some stages will be shorter, some longer, so it’s just an average for gamers across all skill levels.
Step 1: Preparation
There isn’t really any preparation with this game. There are 156 Kenn Action Figures located throughout the entire game and you must collect at least 100 of them in order to earn an achievement. There are also a total possible 263 clones throughout the game to be rescued while you only have to save 75 of them. While both of these can sound painful, I assure you they are not that bad to collect as many of them you will collect while progressing towards the end of each stage.
Step 2: Play the Game
As you play through the game, you will want to be sure and collect as many Kenn Action Figures as possible for your "Killer Kudos" achievement. In conjunction with collecting as many actions figures as possible, you will also want to be sure and free as many extra clones of Clyde as possible for your "Foolish Freedom" achievement. Each level has a par time that you will want to aim for which is fairly easy, even with taking time to collect the Kenn figures.
The levels are all fairly simple and easy to navigate through, nothing too difficult to reach the end. There are parts here and there that of course will require some thinking, but again nothing to difficult. There are robots that you must destroy along the way in order to open the end transport to each level and end that level. Like everything else, they are impossible to pass up so you can't miss them. This is a very fun, straightforward game that the whole family can enjoy!
If you happen to miss a few action figures, don’t rescue all possible Clydes for a level or beat any of the levels within the required par time, don’t worry. You have the option of going back and doing any level you wish which is what makes this game so easy!
"Battle Addict": This achievement only requires that you be in a multiplayer game with an individual, online or local. The achievement should unlock just as the game starts. No one plays this game anymore, so be sure and go to the boosting thread or create or join a Session to see if anyone might be interested in helping out.
Step 3: Mop Up
Once you complete the game, congratulations as you should have earned all if not most all of the achievements! If you failed to reach the required par times for different levels, just simply go back and try them again. This also goes for any Kenn action figures or clones that you need to rescue.
Conclusion:
That's it! If you've gotten to this point and followed my advice you should have the complete 200 for this game.
